Imperial I class SD are by far the most dangerous and numerous ship of in the Imperial fleet. Really love that the Mod reflects that fact and that it shows just how much of a gap is between capital ships of the Alliance and the Empire. love this series already keep up the good work.
Stormy The Stormtroper - while powerful I find the executor to be too large to be used in tactical ship to ship combat as it has been shown in legends to have a large weakness to fighters and is not financially feasible. The classical Star Destroyer is affordable and has a large amount of combat versatility as shown by tactics used by Thrawn in legends and Rebels. I also believe that the firepower of the Executor can be matched by having a large enough number of Imperial I and allows for more angles of fire to be covered in 3d space. Although that's my preference and if you enjoy the Tarkin doctorine cool Xb .
I love Xs auto pilot so much. For those that don't know, Xs auto pilot is a brain damaged blind gerbil trying to steer the ships by running in specific directions in one of those balls.
The hammerhead was introduced in the comics and was first shown in a high budget Star Wars game when KotOR was released (still the best Star Wars game)
Agreed. 2000 years of galactic-level war, disintegrating into hundreds and thousands of individual star systems, Jedi kings, Sith dynasties, all ending with Darth Bane betraying the Brotherhood of Darkness... So much potential, lost. Disney will never do the truly awesome stuffs now, cause they declared it all non-canon.

You cannot post this fast enough. Love this series and having fun with playing the game myself. If only this game had a solid multi-player then we could have a universe where several could be tooling around, maybe on different sides but played role playing wise so that it does not just turn into a gank fest. Great series, tied with your Stellaris series for how much I like it. Please put out more and if you ever get a mod that makes this playable by more than just one person I think a group series would be excellent. I remember making massive factories and having issues getting them started, then I decided on giving them a boat load of crystals to get them started. I prefer to pilot corvettes in this game that can dock fighters because fighters are good at dying in small groups. The AI in this game has been described as a someone piloting the craft with only a map. I remember spending time to hunt down a Gonor Aran and using it to hunt down a fer Xenon ships. Capturing my first Xenon I made me giddy, Capturing my second Xenon I and making my space station learn how to build it made me even more giddy. My first game I made a super massive array of space stations (placed in high traffic sectors) to make items and had ships ferry all my items from my producing station to numerous trading stations. It took some time but after the initial startup was finished, I ran into a shocking development. I could not spend my money fast enough.
Shack I just want to say that this series is probably THE best star wars experience i've ever had the pleasure of watching. If this series isn't your priority then reconsider, i'm deeply drawn to this game and it mod.

Someone might have answered that already but here it is. Missile Only will have your turrets target only hostile missiles as missile defense will prioritize missile but will still engage targets that come too close if there are no missiles. Also you can adjust the behavior of those specific commands in the AI behavior in the gameplay options. You can decide what your missile defense prioritizes and essentially readjust every other command you have in your command console menu. Note that I am using the XRM Mod and complementary mods but I am pretty sure that is a native feature of the game.

MDM(C) is Convoy, so any ship following your Hammerhead will launch it's own Mosquitoes at missiles fired at the lead ship. Or the other way around. I've never quite understood which way it works, so I always use Convoy mode just in case. Boardable: M1,M2,M6,M7,TL,TM Bailable: M3,M4,M5,M8,TP,TS, Goner Rangers You can probably take an M7 with your M6, but only if you're an exceptional pilot. I typically find you can take two classes above your own if you're a good pilot. (Though killing Q's with an M5 is always hilarious.)
"missile defence" will let the turrets operate normally, but will prioritize incoming missiles. "Missile only" makes it so they will ONLY engage missiles. Missile only is good for turrets that have weak weapon systems like impule rays and the like.
Shack my last post is a bit of a nostalgia post, this one is a post of technical concern. The hamerhead has 8 cannons, the Argon Centaur (the previous ship) has 8 main cannons and 3 turrets with 1 gun each (total 11 guns) [The heavy centaur has 6 in the main and 3 turrets with 2 guns each], and as a result it is somewhat under-gunned for a corvette. I personally think the ship could use either a new load out OR new more powerful laser cannons (for example light turbolaser cannons in the main). Currently its main weapons have about the same alpha strike as the X wing, on the other hand the Hammerhead has greater sustained fire. I remember flying around in the Shared AP Gunner with its front mounted Photon Pulse Cannon (x2). This ship if piloted correctly can destroy just about ANYTHING.
You are the luckiest person alive, Those were Ion Cannons firing at you. Had those been it's main Quad Linked Heavy Turbo lasers you would have been dead in the first two shots XD

hey there xpgamer. I am loving your playthrough so far. I am a tad behind but its all good. Anyways I have a small suggestion for exploring. Bring that scout one with you and just have him fly around the system first while you slow boat to your mission target. The "Scout-Wing" will open up things on the map and can also act like an emergency jump beacon if things get hairy or if you don't trust the system just send him back to where the mission was given.. basically "Command&Forget". I could see him as a "Emergancy Beacon" in any system if you can lower his Signature to make him super hard to scan down (Im new to this game but I've played a few space games that you can lower your EM Profile or Signature) and then you can basically explore, scan down good asteroids maybe, or loot laden lockables... aka; have something to do while your other ship is chugging across a sector instead of wasting fuel trying move all that Mass around at the speed of SLOTH. (That's the 2 toe'd not the faster 3 toe'd model hehe). The low signature would allow you to let him auto pilot with confidence if you have to defend your primary ship or whatever... Anyways, Great Channel, Good series so far, and love the fact that your working with the mod author and making the game better for everyone... ...and Remember, GAME ON! Shack, would you do a video on how to install everything you have? These videos made me get the game but I can't seem to get the star wars mod to work with the plugin manager. Everything is there except the are all missing textures.
To install the Star Wars mod, open the .rar and put everything it has in the X3TP-folder in your X3TP-folder, with overwrite, that's what the modder tells you to do.
Missile Defense Mosquito C is installed on the wing leader and it protects all wingmen, no need to activate MDM on all ships. The leader should be loaded with plenty of missiles, though.
Missile Defense - Prioritizes shooting missiles within it's cone of fire; if no missiles it will engage ships attacking you. MIssiles Only - Exactly as advertised, will only engage missiles and ignores everything else.
turet misile defense will fire at ships if no misile is present, but i believe at a slower rate then if just defending your ship from enemies. misile defense only is quiet clear
I play in Litcubes Universe mod but de jumpgates are just discs without the rings and my UI looks different (older) then yours. Is that a setting or something?
Will he address the color scheme of the different ships. like how most of the fighting ships of the rebels were all white with black lines and the empire was more of a grey
This is one of those games that would not suffer from an intelligently implemented multiplayer. Like, you designate one person as head of the faction, and then have all your friends be admirals? And maybe, once you have a moderately safe powerbase or have conquered the galaxy, one of your friends organizes a civil war for your faction? That would be cool.

lovin the series, it is prob okay to try your luck earning money but it is good to see how the campaign turns out and what needs to be re-balanced

The Mosquito Missile Defense C option stands for "Convoy" which basically means it protects the convoy as well as you.
Now all you need is a Star Destroyer to Ram into, but you have bounce enabled LOL
That's only for your wingmen.
