Ramsey's essay links Masonry with the Knights of Saint John, which is an order in the Commander, hence why people incorrectly claim that Ramsey stated Templars. It was the house of Seton and Baron Von Hund who are the earliest source for Masonic Templarism.

Hoped you mention that Baphomet is an atbash cypher in Hebrew that returns the name Sophia, the Greek name for the feminine personification of wisdom. Similar to what is seen in ancient Egypt in various forms and in the early Hebrew wisdom texts. A prime example being Proverbs 9:1; "Wisdom has built Her house, She has hewn out Her seven pillars." Hence, the Knights Templar were seeking truth via the symbolism of ancient wisdom and the Church strongly frowned upon it. What is made up is that image of a goat headed "god" meant to demonize those seeking wisdom through that symbolism as described in the Hebrew texts, ancient Egypt, Greece, etc. Notice the breasts on Baphomet in some versions? It is apparent that whomever created those images knew the truth about Sophia yet chose to create this obvious misdirection to demonize the Knights Templar after the fact and the assumed association with Freemasonry.
Baphoment is made up out of whole cloth from start to finish; its simply a bastardization of mahomet, an alternative to Mohamed. It was meant to stir up anti-islamic sentiment during the Templar trials. And the Sophia connection has been thoroughly debunked. The goat-headed image was made up by Levi to just be shocking IMO. He has some explanation about it, but its just garbage. He was trying to be shocking for its own sake.
Baphomet represents Capricorn the horns of the goat represents the generative reproductive area. Just like Aries sheeps horns resembles the human brain. Capricorn represents represents winter, death, astrotheology wise its the death of the sun and it's resurrection. Baphomet is linked to the cult of the saturnian brotherhoods. Satanists use the statue which also has hermetics in it. It represents the left hand path.
I don’t think you could or should divulge about the room of reflection (Cavern) where Langdon finds the capless pyramid brother, but there’s that also.
The show is fiction. Simply because Dan Brown says the pyramid is a Masonic symbol doesn’t make it so. It’s just a fun story. And nothing in any of our videos reveals tiled Masonic info. The chamber of reflection is not occult and it’s not secret.
One being ofcourse God who is in all of us and whose children we are. The similaritie with the Sun symbol is ofcourse cause for the ancient the Sun was God. We more studied humans understand that, like in Kaballa, God is everything. He's the Universe and he's the ant. The Sun we witness is just there for us to understand the concept which is named God. Basically like Genesis is the story of creation made understandable for some simple shepherds.
What about the Urantia Book ? Are you, as a freemason, the Continuum of the order of Melchizedek ? The Urantia Book covers some things about Melchizedek; how he taught his followers not to sacrifice animals but to offer bread and wine instead. Does, therefore, the 33rd° have to do with reading the Urantia Book and if so, does it relate to Melchizedek and an offering of bread and wine for a contemplative moment among the wise order of Melchizedek ? Any insight would help me a lot. There is a Masonic Lodge in Mountain View near the public library. Can I go in to check it out or is it members only ? Thank you, Joe Von Wolfenstein
LOST WORDS - COW + AN = Feminine + Father AN. We cannot have a masonic meeting without the words Cowans and Eavesdroppers (EVE’S DROPPER) being used. As Freemasons we are reminded on a regular basis to be on guard for both. But what are they really? The etymology of both words are lost to time, so let's look at them one at a time.
Great as always. These need to be seen by conspiracy theorist! Bro one question, how would you deal with someone who sais it’s anti Jesus, your bibles are opened in the Old Testament and you don’t recognise Jesus even though you pray to a GAOU within lodge…
I would say that Christianity reveres the Old Testament and any Christian should be fine with the Old Testament being open. It certainly isn’t anti-Jesus.
i was raised to the sublime degree of a master mason just a couple of months ago, i really wanna further my knowledge in the scottish rite southern jurisdiction, i reached out to my local lodge and it looks like i have to wait untill march of next year for the reunion. is there any other information i could study between now and then to further my quest for more knowledge in masonry? some good books or a web site that once i put in my credentials i would have access to and be able to do so?
lmaooo made me laugh so hard when out of nowhere he was like, "man that's so beautiful 🥺" hahahaha WHAT ARE YOU STILL DOING HERE so funny brother. SMIB
I'm sure I'm not the first to admit that I came into contact with Freemasonry through the novel "lost symbol". not that I wanted to become a freemason directly, no... rather, I was inspired by it to deal with it more closely. I found what I was looking for, or should I say... I started "searching".. ? 😉 Now I'm a "seeker" until December. For me, the best month to do so! I can only advise everyone to read this book, because it not only glorifies allegories, whoever reads the lines will recognize that the book is one big allegory! And that everyone who appears in, walks the same path of knowledge through mystery. the series is a failure! Too bad there wasn't a good movie about it... Greetings to all ! Stay healthy!
ok, my friend, 2 things to point out.. first, what you got wrong.. that creature in the tattoo, is the demon Buer, originally he was suppose to look like a centaur, but a picture in an old book of demonology, had him look like that.. and that is now the accepted look second, the interesting, is all the people accept the look of Baphomet, but don't realize it's based on the Occultist Eliphas Levi, in the 1800's the original Templars, under torture gave conflicting description, but the only animal head they mentioned, was a cat.. they never said anything about a goat i am basing this on a college lecture, from history professor
@@ScottishRiteMasons i am also, because of your series, rewatching the Lost Symbol..i watched it before, but you made it sound so much better than when i watched it lol
If you do an episode about Rosicrucianism you’ll want to look more at Johannes Valentinus Andreae than Francis Bacon. Don’t forget that there is a Rosicrucian appendant body: SRICF. Also, the Catholic Church actually exonerated the KT in what’s known as the Chinon parchment, dated August of 1308. This is BEFORE the last of them, including DeMolay, were executed. This document absolved them all of heresy, however Clement still suppressed the order in 1312. The Chinon parchment was lost until 2001, having been improperly filed in the Vatican archives.
100% correct. I try to keep the videos from going too far into the weeds, but yes it seems as though there was a clerical error of some kind. I can’t quite buy it tho!! We have a copy of the trial transcript from the Vatican archive at the House of the Temple.
Honestly when you said why you meet best buddy in this lodges . So,as we all know Bullshit theories evil , conspiracy.. This are high value men . What is high value ? Moral character, trust ,ethics loyal .. When you meet this kind of people as friend you stand beside each other and the friendship last . No. Baphomet was made up entirely by Philip the Fair of France to accuse the Knights Templar. Any thing that was applied after that is some silly modern invention. Regardless, Baphomet has nothing to do with Masonry.
Definitely Rosicrucians...Only Masons who dig deep into the study history of Masonry will know that Freemasonry is an Offspring of the Ancient Rose Croix tradition that has stemmed from the Mystery Schools..This is also noted by a Master Mason himself in the constitution. To be quite honest the crux of Masons do not know their history, neither do they care to study deeply into the mysteries. The Rosicrucians and Freemasons were closely connected as the Latter is the offspring but both fraternities has since gone their own way and since then have nothing to do with each other. They pursue their objectives in each their own way. That is not to say one is inferior to the other...One may say that the Ancient and Accepted Freemason Order is the "largest known" fraternity of the two up to date and that would be accurate.~Seek and you shall find, knock on the door and it will be opened to you~
Sorry sir but the spirit in the tattoo isn't Baphomet...but "Buer" from the Goetia. I only know that because I've worked with the Goetia and even have a hand copied version of that grimoire. Hope this helps Hiram.
Had one other once you obtain or achieve the 33 level of consciousness. You have found .you are the holy grail your thoughts would be gratefuly.welcome thank you.
No one worships Baphoment. This is a review of a TV show. Baphomet isn’t real. It was made up by a king of France to villainize the knights Templar. None of it is connected to masonry. Also none of us know or care what satan looks like. Satan means “adversary” in Hebrew. The enemy of God in this case. Masons hate satan and all his works.
The flat earth nonsense has been debunked 1000000 times over and the moon landings have been documented beyond reproach so there’s no conversation to have. Have a nice day.
I would say sir.that you most certainly speak with good intentions. And certainly on your way to a higher consensusness.but you explanation is of the lower levels.on the higher level symbolism is certainly yoused to single each other as to if I'm a politician I could were pins and singles to other brothers and sister around the world. @@ScottishRiteMasons Baphomet is a goat horned god that has been around since the Egyptian Dynasty. The depiction may differ slightly but the symbolism in the pictures of Baphomet represents occultism and other religious ideas that are clearly in line with Satan.
You're simply incorrect. The first known mention of Baphomet was in association with the Templar trials and false accusations. Its made up entirely. The Sabbatic goat image you're mentioning was also made up by the French Occultist Eliphas Levi in the mid 19th century. The Egyptians may have had a goat-headed deity, but it was not baphomet. Whether or not people associate it with satan is up to them. But it is NOT associated with Masonry. Baphomet is not old or important. It's simply a cartoon character.
Cool video but Easter and Christmas wasn’t a holiday created by Jesus and his father. Those are pagan holidays created so that way we wouldn’t celebrate the real holidays of Jesus Christ

According to this pleasant presentation they are all a bunch of reasonably decent chaps, coming from the east to look for that which was lost, but it was not lost ! However the appeal for most is a bigger slice of life, to join you will go through a ceremony that albeit symbolic still embodies the blood oath which is your life, in sorcery a blood sacrifice is needed to summon demons for favours & a blood oath is required to summon demons to bear witness, this can only be a form of sorcery. 30th degree upward masons are told their god is Lucifer the bringer of light. Fun fact Lucifer doesn't call himself Lucifer anymore because he is fallen and has no light in him. Most masons have a comfortable life but at what price. Mark 8. 36-38

@@ScottishRiteMasons Good info. I hadn't heard that side of it and it makes some sense in context. I'll do more research. Thanks.
Thank you,
Joe Von Wolfenstein
The creature on his back is a drawing from the pseudomonarchia daemonium of the arch duke Bune
i was raised to the sublime degree of a master mason just a couple of months ago, i really wanna further my knowledge in the scottish rite southern jurisdiction, i reached out to my local lodge and it looks like i have to wait untill march of next year for the reunion. is there any other information i could study between now and then to further my quest for more knowledge in masonry? some good books or a web site that once i put in my credentials i would have access to and be able to do so?
sure! Check out the www.mastercraftsmancollege.org and there is a ton on there.

lmaooo made me laugh so hard when out of nowhere he was like, "man that's so beautiful 🥺" hahahaha WHAT ARE YOU STILL DOING HERE so funny brother.
It’s a great book. But much of what is in the book is fiction from the mind if Dan brown. And he’s the first to admit it.
I cant find a way to subscribe to you.
ok, my friend, 2 things to point out.. first, what you got wrong.. that creature in the tattoo, is the demon Buer, originally he was suppose to look like a centaur, but a picture in an old book of demonology, had him look like that.. and that is now the accepted look
second, the interesting, is all the people accept the look of Baphomet, but don't realize it's based on the Occultist Eliphas Levi, in the 1800's
the original Templars, under torture gave conflicting description, but the only animal head they mentioned, was a cat.. they never said anything about a goat
i am basing this on a college lecture, from history professor
Corrected this on a subsequent video. You’re a couple years behind.
@@ScottishRiteMasons yeah, your channel just showed up, and i am watching them in order lol
No worries. I’m rewatching Seinfeld reruns. In the “streaming age” it could be anytime! Enjoy the show and thanks for watching.
@@ScottishRiteMasons i am also, because of your series, rewatching the Lost Symbol..i watched it before, but you made it sound so much better than when i watched it lol
what does it take to become a mason? other than desire
Didn’t see the cross story being told, some are not ready

how can you be part of this I will like to be part of this
Baphomet is a combination of the goddess and the horned god which is the basis for witch craft worship.
No. Baphomet was made up entirely by Philip the Fair of France to accuse the Knights Templar. Any thing that was applied after that is some silly modern invention. Regardless, Baphomet has nothing to do with Masonry.
Who are older? The Rosicrucians or the Freemasons?
If you consider free or speculative masonry to have started in the craft guilds, then masonry.
@@ScottishRiteMasons Very interesting. Thank you.

It is a personified psychological dynamic. Dan brown is a fiction writer.
I love this

Great
This is interesting! Why do people worship Baphomet? I don't think it looks like anything Satan resembles! Isn't Satan gorgeous?
No one worships Baphoment. This is a review of a TV show. Baphomet isn’t real. It was made up by a king of France to villainize the knights Templar. None of it is connected to masonry.
Also none of us know or care what satan looks like. Satan means “adversary” in Hebrew. The enemy of God in this case. Masons hate satan and all his works.
Hi live the channel is there any chance you would like to have a conversation regarding the fake moon landings and the shape of the Earth??
The flat earth nonsense has been debunked 1000000 times over and the moon landings have been documented beyond reproach so there’s no conversation to have. Have a nice day.
Éliphas Lévi
Was not a mason.
And you know this is just the review of a TV show?
He was Jewish, but identified as a French Catholic. He entered the 'Grand Orient de France', but left before gaining any higher degrees.
I don't care what he was; he was a kook and not a real Mason. ~ME
Knowledge of its significance it not the property of 'free masonic society.
I would say sir.that you most certainly speak with good intentions. And certainly on your way to a higher consensusness.but you explanation is of the lower levels.on the higher level symbolism is certainly yoused to single each other as to if I'm a politician I could were pins and singles to other brothers and sister around the world. I have been curious about the 33 symbol I believe through good intentions and reflection and proper right thinking and knoledge of holy scripture will find his way to the christ conscious or collective christ concourse therfore.33 naturaly from the inside out.your thoughts would be welcome
This is a review of a TV show, the aim here is to separate fact from fiction concerning Masonic symbols. Not to have a discussion of esoteric philosophy. Also, I am not even sure your sentence makes sense.~ME
@@ScottishRiteMasons all good brother.hanks for your reply.
Baphomet has to do with alchemy.
Baphomet is made up nonsense from Phillip the fair.
You say Pagans as if they are bad people, 🙄😂🤪😀
FT Worth AASR
Some of my best friends are pagans. ;)
I always thought it was the devil 😈?
Baphoment is not the devil. He was a made up deity used essential to cram the Knights Templar. Regardless he’s got zero to do with freemasonry.
@@ScottishRiteMasons that's why I said I thought it was a devil

Ive always found it crazy how Americans dont say bye on the telephone as a kid i watched movies and use to think how rude they didnt say goodbye they just hang up now as a adult i think i wish we didnt have to spend the last 5 mins of a call saying goodbye to each other “see u later”
“Ok bye “
“Bye”
“Bye bye “
“Speak soon”
“Yeah take care” “bye”
“Bye “

That always struck me as rude too!
You shall worship the LORD your GOD and HIM only you shall serve. MATTHEW 4:10
You know this is just a review for a TV show right? You don’t need to get all holy.
Mark 8. 36-38
This is all nonsense. You’re incorrect.
Allan, Lucifer isn't a person or a deity. Lucifer, as the bringer of light, is actually the Morning Star which is Venus.
