Always a pleasure listening to Steve recollecting those early days with Genesis. Foxtrot is a top album of that era with a fantastic opening number in Watcher of the Skies followed by the beautiful Timetable and finishing side one with Can Utility. Side two speaks for itself, Horizons is Steve at his very best which of course leads into the legendary Supper's Ready a track that truly has stood the test of time. Looking forward to seeing this album being recreated on the 50th anniversary tour in October at The Forum in Bath. Thanks Steve for giving us lifelong Genesis fans something to hold onto from those wonderful early days of our youth. Please, please keep doing it. Great seeing Genesis live last year and roll on March 26 at the O2 (for the last time?).

Superstar lineup with amazing original sounds - a truly great album. Back when you had to be an amazing musician in order to get a record contract. Headphones enhance the experience!

If Steve Hackett was the heart of early Genesis, then Peter Gabriel was the soul and took it with him when he left in 1975.

The albums from Nursery Cryme to Lamb Lies Down on Broadway are all masterpieces. After that a couple really good albums with Phil on Vocals degenerating into something far less creative artistically. Made them some good Money though

Hmmm...I used to "think"....that the early Genisis albums(with Peter Gabriel)were..."all that & a bag of chips". As I got older, I then began to realize that it-to me, anyway-was just a bunch of pseudo avante garde fluff; kind of like some of the Talking Heads albums; a lot of "noise about nothing". Not crazy about the "pop" era of Genesis, either; Very...generic. I DO like Steve Hackett as a musician, though!
