Did it make sense to trade for Paul George when he was coming off his best season? Yes. Did they trade too much in the trade package for Paul George? Yes. Did they need to get both players at the same time with what they've given up? NO. If they had done one or the other, they would have probably had a longer shelf life of contention and more depth. This was the most successful era in franchise history, which is sad, but I think it's time that they pull the plug to rebuild or they're going to get forced into a rebuild in a few years.

The fact that I love about the Paul George trades is that the Thunder traded him for SGA and a ton of first round picks, got him from Indiana for Victor Oladipo and Domantas Sabonis, who they got by trading Serge Ibaka to the Magic, who then traded Serge Ibaka in the same season for Terrance Ross.
