Three Day Grace has ALWAYS been my favourite band, since '08. I loved each album they produced, Three Days Grace, One-X, Life Starts Now, Transit of Venus, so on... And to hear this song, I can definitely hear the THREE DAYS GRACE in this one. The singer didn't make the band worse, no. Just alternate it.
I'll admit... I do miss Adam, and the songs he wrote were my favourites, too. It's a great shame for the band, but it was his decision.
Nothing else we can do, but whine and b!tch, or appreciate that TDG is still on their way. I'm looking forward for the album.
Did he leave do to injury's involving his vocal chords? if i'm right (not sure i am) then he really didnt CHOOSE his hand was forced it was the band or his health.

Actually people thought it was drugs but he left because he wanted a new chapter to his life is what he said and they looked into it and he was clean I live Adam but respect him enough to respect his choice used to hate Matt but after this song it isn't to bad actually. This 68 year old geezer has been Rockin' out forever (since the mid 60's) and I've heard it all. I know everyone misses Adam, and so do I, but Matt is one hell of a vocalist. Three Days Grace just has that unmistakable sound that separates them from the others. Great, catchy melodies and that killer guitar. Rock On!!!!
ill admit, i was skeptical when they lost adam... but this exceeds expectations. great job TDG and keep it up.

I actually saw three days grace In concert last year with Matt instead of Adam and, I have to say he fits really well in three days grace. It's going to take some getting used to not hearing Adam but, Matt can do just as good as Adam did. Allot of people are saying that Matt has no talent but, I guess it's all about personal preference. I feel that One X is there best CD so far but, let's see if they can top that. (:
I actually like this song. The music feels like a throwback to the old days back with the first TDG album. And Matt injects that My Darkest Days vibe to the Three Days Grace formula. Not bad, Interested to see how the new album will be.

I wasnt sure what to expect with new singer but its actually really good!! Ill always loves adams voice , but I think matt is the perfect person to fill the spot.
I saw them live about two months after Adam quit and I wasn't sure what to expect but Matt did an amazing job live as well! He's pretty freakin' awesome.

So tired of people mentioning Adam. That's all you ever see with their videos, facebook page, etc. Adam left the band, get over it. This song, in my opinion, is really good. They had FOUR albums with Adam. I think it's time for the new vocalist to show what he has to offer.

To be honest I could see why people wouldn't like this. But if you are a fan of My Darkest Days & Three Days Grace you should enjoy this. It honestly sounds like a hybrid of both bands in one. Plus there is no denying that the vocalist for MDD doesn't have a unique voice either. He did one hell of a job replacing adam for the live tour.

Too catchy, but there's nothing to stop it then by taking painkillers. I I COULD BE YOUR PAINKILLER, KILLER, KILLER! Also Matt and Adam are quite similar, I don't see why people make a big fit out of it. Just enjoy the music before it's forgotten in a few years.

1. God, I'm fed up with this whining about Adam. Adam is great no doubt but HE left the band on HIS OWN WILL. It's not like the others kicked him out of 3DG.
2. And sure thing that Matt doesn't and won't sound like Adam. WTF are some "fans" thinking? You can't expected that a new lead singer will sound like the former one. Every singer has his own special voice and way to sing. Just accept this.
3. 3DG should change its name because Adam left? LOL. So if this is the case, many other bands should have changed their names too (and there are bands which changed their leads so many times). I don't know what you think but in my opinion a band isn't just the lead singer. A band is a TEAM! So, everyone is important and makes a band a band. Adam wasn't 3DG BUT part of it.
Geez, I wished Adam would once say something about this whole shit so some "fans" will shut up. If you liked 3DG just for Adam, so follow Adam and leave 3DG alone. They have now Matt and he will make his way.

I know most people think 3DG won't be the same without Adam Gontier, but as a longtime fan of 3DG I disagree.
I mean it's heartbreaking that Adam won't be with the band anymore, but after listening to this song, I don't thing that 3DG will miss a single step. In fact I'd say that the new lead singer could be just as successful as Adam was since the songs are being written with a heavier, more aggressive-sounding vibe that really fits Matt Walst's style.
So I know that some people may disagree with me, but that's where I stand with this. Take it or leave it!!!!!

I put this song on the speakers of my house and my neighbors knocked on the door, and instead of scolding me, congratulated me on my musical taste. I invited them to drink and enjoy together this incredible group. It was beautiful.

Seriously, we all love Adam, but, he left the reins with Matt for a reason. HE ROCKS! Gotta see him in concert before you can make a judgement. He can definitely hold his own with "the greats" of metal aka Ronnie James Dio, Geoff Tate, Bruce Dickenson and so on..... Shoulda heard the notes he was holding and there would be no question.

I've seen them live with Matt and he's a terrible live performer, he was even in My Darkest Days. I do like his voice in the studio though, but would not pay to see him live.

Петър Петров Nothing's going to stop these people from complaining. This happens with basically anything like this. It's like when Charlie Sheen left _Two and a Half Men_. No matter how good of a replacement the new guy was, there was always going to be people not willing to give him a chance because they couldn't imagine watching it without Charlie Sheen.
Just give it some time, eventually people will (hopefully) get used to it.

( This song is a very different sound to what the band had done before the new guy ) And it's gonna take a fuckton of getting used to .

Adam, was a great singer. But Matt Walst is really just as good! Just give the singer a chance to be in this awesome group! This song made it up to the top in the rock charts for me this year and Matt did good being the Adam Gontier of this song! Agreed! I've seen 3DG in concert twice. Once with Adam & once with Matt. I was skeptical at first but was absolutely blown away by how well Matt did. He was every bit as good as Adam if not BETTER live.

I do love Adam and I do wish he came back but...this is going up at #4 of my favorite TDG songs ever!!!! Guys just get over Adam's leaving! He's not coming back and that's final! And also, Matt did a HUGE favor for us! He kept TDG up and going up! Nope, don't tell Matt to leave, don't beg Adam to go back , give Matt a BIG hank you! If you're going to act like that, go on the time machine and go live your old ThreeDaysGrace life. Overall, I'm supporting TDG no matter what!!!

And also, I just realized, what if the other band members left instead of Adam? Grant it, Adam plays a very important role, but what about Neil, Brad and Barry? I bet some fans would go like this:
*If Barry left*: Meh, we could easily find a better lead guitarist just like him.
*If Neil left*: All back-up vocalists and drummers sound the same, we'll be fine!
*If Brad left*: What's a bass?
*When Adam left*: NO ADAM NO, HE LEFT! THREE DAYS GRACE IS RUINED! ADAM LEFT, IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD!!!!

You're awesome, Matt! Amazing vocalist and he is so high energy live on stage. Have always been a fan of TDG, and I still am. Still making incredible music. Ignore the people who can't deal with change.

Achievements4Idiots I know what you mean. It still has the vibe of old TDG and even though Adam was a big part, the band is still them without him, some people just have to accept that. This songs great!
