I’ve been heavy into MSTR for about a year. It’s been wonderful. My cost basis was around $400 pre-split (or $40 post split). I had 100 shares that split into 1,000.
Bitcoin is a bet that fiat is dying. Microstrategy is a levered version of that same bet. Hence, the reason investors were sold on the convertible note strategy.
Regardless of how people feel about it, the government has chosen Bitcoin to be the tool that saves the US dollar, or at least lets it live a little bit longer. Anybody who misses it, has absolutely no excuse lol. There's only 21 million coins and they have literally told you they are going to buy at least 1 million.
MSTR is Ponzi scheme for Saylor. They forget to take the debt into the valuation. And they drive the BTC by leveraging more. An exponential curve is not indefinite.

It's called a reverse Ponzi. MSTR will continue to borrow dollars and buy BTC until the dollar doesn't exist. All that debt MSTR has in dollars will eventually be hyper-inflated away and MSTR will still have all the BTC they bought.
Hard to imagine that nobody would attempt to shake out microstrategy by dropping the price violently and suddenly forcing them to sell at low price so their btc can be bought for cheap.
MSTR won’t have to sell BTC to service its debt. It’s a cash flow for its software company has enough there to service the debt. This is the genius of the move. If bitcoin drops MsTR isn’t at risk. They could change this by holding their own keys, which might make sense, but the real issue is, most of these bonds come due in 2028-29, and they do NOT have enough cash flow to actually pay out the full value of these bonds, which is in the billions of dollars. If Bitcoin is over 200 K then, 'no problem, bro !', but if somehow its much lower, then its 'bogus, dude :( '

You made an error. NONE of their bitcoins are tied up to any of their debt any longer. So there is 0 risk of them having to sell anything they own right now.
And getting more BTC then Saylor at this point, is pretty much not possible, because while others buy, Saylor will also be buying and most likely more then them.

Why would anyone care about a split. Your holdings don't appreciate in value as a result of it.
Doesn't mean anything unless you want to sell options against them.
A split means nothing. You need to educate yourself before you lose your money.

@@z_geist In the Bitcoin community, its a big deal when any company buys in. There was huge hype around Tesla's small purchase, but they never put in more. Back in the day, there was no ETF, so if you wanted your IRA to hold bitcoin, you had to do something really weird, or just buy MSTR, which meant that a LOT of bitcoiners have a LOT of MSTR, since its how you ETFed, before there WAS an ETF...
So you spend over 1 million into MSTR shares? 3956 x 280 = 1.107.680 $... I have to say I doubt that some millionaire would write some youtube comments like this. More sounds like a bot commentary.

My concern is that Microstrategy is so closely linked with Michael Saylor that if anything happens to him, everything completely crashes.
