It doesn't even show me that there are any. I assumed there wasn't since I don't have enough subscribers to monetize. Can you tell me is the ad at the beginning of each video or in the middle? I have been doing research and i keep seeing that I can turn them off if I am monetizing, but I am not monetizing my videos. Most other places are saying that RUclips can add ads to videos if they want. I am trying my best to figure it out, If anyone knows how to turn them off, let me know. If it is just an ad at the beginning of a new video, I experienced the same with other people's. I went in and turned off "auto play next video" and then I could fall asleep to a video and when it got to the end, it would stop itself and I would already be asleep. For people who may have a harder time sleeping or need noise all night to sleep, I don't have an answer, YET. Still looking.
I had an ad pop up in the middle. That’s frustrating for you I’m sure. I wish I had an answer. You have one of the best whisper voices I’ve found. Most are annoying!😂😂😂
Awww. Thank you!!! It is very annoying because on the creator side, it doesn't show me ads and even on my finance's account, it only shows one at the beginning. I read where people were saying that if your content isn't originally yours that the owner can place ads. This is clearly my own Content. I am still researching. I hope to be able to fix that for you. I know when I am watching asmr, if a video is in the middle, I won't watch them again, so I understand the frustration on your side. I appreciate you reaching out so I knew there was a problem. I will continue to attempt to resolve this and keep you updated.
I can vouch for the Creator - before you are monetized, you don't get the option to opt in or out or ad placement or even deciding if to have ads in the video at all. YT decides ad placement for those who are not monetized. Hopefully they rack up subscribers fast and can monetize and put ad placement btw videos :)
@LilyMcAllister thank you for speaking up. I hope getting to 1000 and getting monetized will slow down the ads. I have been doing research and seeing a lot of people having the same issue. It's so annoying, and youtube doesn't seem to care. A lot of people have been contacting them for as long as 7 years with no resolution. I honestly can't fix it. One of my favorite asmr people did an entire talk on it because people were calling her greedy for putting ads in the middle of hers, and it was waking them up. She has been monetized for years. She contacted RUclips, and they said that they are allowed to put ads in any videos, anywhere no matter if they are monetized or not. It's extremely frustrating. I know this from the point of view of watching asmr to go to sleep and being startled awake. I promise if I could change it, I would. I
