Jeeez same. I woke my husband up on release night with my full on sobbing 🤣 I haven’t been able to listen to it all the way through again yet. I’m not emotionally stable enough to put myself through it now that I know 🤣🤣
I love Adele since 19, and i agree 30 is her best work. It has all the experimental side of 19, the raw emotions of 21, the love of 25 and the best part, the mature part of being a grown human at 30. She really did that.
30 is definitely Adele’s best album. It has traces of classic Adele, but on this album, she finally experiments so much! My favorites are Strangers By Nature, My Little Love, Oh My God, To Be Loved, and Love Is A Game. Also, I love your channel!
"why am i seekin approval from people i dont even know" she has all the approval i could ever give shes such an amazing artist , the fact her songs hit so close to home for many is amazing , im glad ive grown up where since childhood ive gotten to hear her sing
I'm so happy she did exactly what she wanted to do and not what is commercially successful these days. A truly great album with an amazing concept (no matter how it sells) 😊
It's definitively her least commercial album to date, and she isn't really a "commercial" artist to begin with, she just happened to become massively successful. This album is also her artistic peak.
I think 30 sounds really commercial, a lot of the production sounds like top 40 pop. And a few songs remind me of Imagine Dragons, especially Oh My God and Can I Get It. Not being a hater though lol.
@@123rockfan what I meant was that a lot of the songs are longer than normal these days and it's more of a concept album than anything she's done before :) but we'll see how it does in the long run. I hope people like it.
Strangers by Nature reminds me of songs from Lady and the Tramp and Alice in Wonderland, like classic 50s crooner songs, and then throughout the album a bit of that mixed with old jazz standards and hip hop and soul/RnB. How did this woman do that?? I haven't listened much but so far I am absolutely awestruck by the emotional masterpiece that is To Be Loved.
It had a classic sound but the chords take an unexpected, eerie, almost confusing turn. I'd imagine that's how she had to be feeling at the beginning of the end of her marriage. She even said so in the very next song
in the interview she did with zane lowe, she said the judy garland biopic inspired the "theatrical" sound of "strangers by nature", commenting that watching it made her question why singers weren't writing "classic-sounding" melodies like this anymore. definitely one of my favorite album openers of this year. 30 is sooo good!
The best part about this album is she said this was her most personal album and was made for herself. She even joked and said ok done with this record, now let’s work on an album we can ACTUALLY realease to the public. Also, the album cover is her looking away from us. She said she’s bared her soul for us, there’s no need for us to look into physically also.
So happy to see the "Hold On" love. For me, that was the song that hit the hardest both musically and lyrically, and felt like the most emotionally pure experience on the album (for me personally, at least!). So many folks are busy gushing over some of the other bigger singles (and they're all good, don't get me wrong), but I was glad to see you were similarly affected by "Hold On."
This is the first album that I ended up listening to from my MOM'S perspective. I have never done that before and it wasn't a conscious decision. It just kinda happened and I was not prepared. 😩 I also LOVE that those 3 faster tempo songs in the middle of the album are lyrically painful and at times chaotic...like a musical representation of her grieving process & trying to get over it. To Be Loved killed my soul, brought it back to life and then slaughtered it again.
I think Hold On is the song that most of us feel so relatable, I'm so thankful for it and as you said that songs is perfect when you have a bad day and you just wanna be lay in your bed with the lights off and crying... at the end of the day we have a light at the end of the tunnel, so I feel ya'
"30" is a Modern Marvel and is 100% Adele's best record. There's a weird group of people, that still don't want to say that ( because they might have been expecting, the same things she did with 21 & 25 ). But just in terms of writing, the story being told through the music, the Raw & personal feel, the vocal performances at they're very best, and the blending of so many different styles & genre's... This is by far the biggest risk she's ever taken with an album and it 100% paid off. To Be Loved was her "River Deep, Mountain High" moment, its her greatest song ever recorded ( but also her most physically taxing, hence why she'll never perform it live. Its her best record... Its Adele at her artistic peak in terms of experimentation, writing, and vocal performance
My favourite album from will always be 21 but 30 just topped that for me. 30 is her most cohesive album and had an actual storytelling in the whole tracks by track. Her best record yet, definitely AOTY for Grammy 2023
@@stantwitter1016 "30" is Adele at her artistic and lyrical peak. To Be Loved be her best song vocally ever, My Little Love might be her most open & honest track she's ever done. So many other songs too, its just an experience

I feel like the voice notes sprinkled through the album, are what function as an anchor-point. It gives a sense of consistency to the album, even while we are shifting from so many different sounds song-to-song. I was having a hard day and when I foolishly put this on, My Little Love broke me. It gave me the outlet I needed, but boy was it feeling like a personal attack xD
I Drink Wine is an instant classic. I love the 70's and soul-inspired feel. It felt a lot like a classic Aretha song like Don't Play That Song to me. And the organ in the outro is celestial.
Idk if somebody else already said but there’s a joke about I Drink Wine (Adele’s Version) because I don’t remember where but she said the song originally was 15 minutes long
AHHHH I'M FIRST😭 30 is probably my 2nd adele fav now, but might turn 1st as i listen to it more. But definitely one of the best albums this year, i loved all the different stuff she tried to experiment
I feel like Adele knew EXACTLY what she was doing putting cry your heart out, oh my god and can I get it right after my little love. She knew we couldn’t handle it if the placements were any where else 😭😭
For me it's was like the detours of his 40's and 50's decade in this album . I love how her albums was never be the same sound. ''19'' was very accoustic and very folk and pop, the second ''21'' was hugely influenced by the RnB and soul of 70's and ''25'' was know to explored electronic in the album and ambient music in a haunting ambiance. In this, she was very jazz, with also few songs influenced by the soul. Also, this album was so much sad and very melancolic. Love this album and placed with ''19'' as my favorite album of her. I crying so much in many songs of this album and was so sad.
Heard it for a second time, loved it even more. Cry your heart out has grown on me, love the 19 vibes. Oh my God biggest pop hit, To Be loved for best ballad, but every song is great really!
That’s why I love her so much, she found a formula that worked and made her tons of hits but still decided to go out of that formula and make an album with a range of styles.

I saw another reactor saying they thought my little love seemed cheap and a bit exploitative of her son. I was like no this is raw emotion!!! It really added so much to the song and it’s a real account of what is going on in this period of her life. I was mad lol!!!
@@taya12020 It was Jon Denton I saw. I haven’t seen much of their channel apart from an album reaction to Dave - We’re all alone in this together. I was a bit shocked honestly that that was what they took away. Definitely reaching!! There are plenty of people who are exploiting their children, esp on RUclips and stuff, it is a problem but I don’t think it’s the case here. She’s already made clear this album is there to explain herself to her child through her struggles and the divorce. Hearing that really hurt my feelings honestly 😂 can only imagine what it would feel like if it was actually my own song, pain and child.
Ngl I really didn’t connect with my little love the way it seems a lot of people did, but I wouldn’t go so far as to say she was exploiting her son. I don’t understand how they got that idea????
I’ve been an Adele fan since Chasing Pavements. I adored 19. Loved 21. Liked 25. Adele30 for me is Adele’s best album ever. Her lyrics are brutal and honest but the harmonies and musical arrangements take you to places you didn’t realize existed. Hold On for me is tops.
I find it perfect that cry your heart out comes after my little love, since it's telling us that it's ok to be crying our hearts out from my little love 😭😭😭😭😭
Currently going through a heavy break up and I've been finding all my break up songs you review and it's so comforting it's like having a friend help me through it haha. Thank you for doing what you do.
CAITLIN AMAZING VIDEO!! I just have to say thank you for actually appreciating the album for what it is. From the lyrics to the actual sounds, I feel like many people have not really understood the album yet since it’s much different than her previous albums, so they start to hate on it which is upsetting. But to me it honestly sounds like such a classic Adele sounding album? Like she’s always had that jazzy flow to her music, as well as some piano ballads, so to me this is just another A+ project from her. My favs were strangers by nature, easy on me, I drink wine, hold on, and to be loved :))
We have to stream it,buy it,and introduce this wonderful album to all our family and friends,if it gets the success like her previous work,it speaks out that people still need quality music, not only the 15sec tiktok loops
First time i listened to 30 i thought it was SO different and i kinda didnt like it very much because of that. BUT.... B U T... it grew so much on me. This album is soooo freaking good.
Yes my friend I wasn't sold the first spin either but after listening to it over and over its a masterpiece of brilliant song writing and production and the best vocal I ever herd.
I just found you. Glad you found ADELE. I've been a huge fan of hers since the beginning. Your reactions are real similar to mine. My only mistake was listening to it for the first time while driving to work, at 5am, in the dark, while it was raining. Ugly crying on the freeway, whew! Your reactions were fun to watch. Definitely gonna subscribe to your channel.
This album came out a month ago, and the track Hold On literally saved me. My cat unfortunately passed away the weekend before this album’s release, and I was distraught. And all I needed was Adele to tell me to hold on, and so I did.
I agree with your list for the most part- ‘I drink wine’ is the anthem for adults who are figuring shit out, and like she says, trying to get over ourselves. I’m so in love with this record and love seeing all of the positive feedback!

Currently going through a heavy break up and I've been finding all my break up songs you review and it's so comforting it's like having a friend help me through it haha. Thank you for doing what you do.
her reaction to the first track in the first line: jaw already dropped
Finally, someone appreciated 'I drink wine' its really my favorite cu its really personal. That's is a hidden gem of the album.
rolling stone magazine said it's her third greatest song ever.
Strangers by nature is very 1950's Disney. It could easily play in Cinderella or Sleeping Beauty.
Oh my god, I was thinking the exact same thing
This is 100% her strongest and best album.
Lot like her early stuff which is very soul/R and B. I did not expect this album to be so emotional. I dig it a lot. Amazing voice.
I’m so in love with this record and love seeing all of the positive feedback!

thank you, i'm so glad you're here 😊
Thank you for this!! If there is one out of the many interviews she’s done for this watch the Zayne Lowe Apple Music interview. It’s on RUclips. It explains the album so well!
Think this is Adele`s best album yet.Raw .,emotional ,but with those all too familiar stunning vocals.Favourite song? "To be Loved" just can`t stop listening.Another triumph for our favourite artist,Beautiful.
Its her best album... This is Adele at her peak artistically and vocally, but there's a weird section of fans that don't wanna admit it. They're loss
@@chasewoolfork2350 Totally agree! :)
@@Joy-qw3wm Might be one of my all time favorite records top to bottom. Sadly I feel like fans won't appreciate this album to its fullest, until maybe 5 or 10 years down the line. Its a artistic and experimental masterpiece
To be loved sounds nostalgic to me, like I heard it in a different lifetime, or like when I was really young. To be loved really impacted me
Omg I’m laughing/crying along with you. “Adele stop Adele stop Adele stop” lmao
OMG Thank u!!! U get the same feelings as i did also… u r the only person who did appreaciate the whole package - lyrics, sound and vocals at once on RUclips! 😍🤗 #obsessed #30
My little love is probably my favorite song of hers sonically. But it actually makes me sob 😭 it’s insane how raw and vulnerable she is about being a mom. Whew
Favorite Era of adele unforgettable and unbelievable and everlasting icon forever

I didn't think I would cry when listening to this but My Little Love tore me to pieces
so happy u listened to this 0:) i was excited to see what u would think !! also, ur hair looks rlly nice here
I love the whole album my personal favorites are
Oh My God & Cry Your Heart Out
this album is so different from her previous projects but it suprised me in such a good way!!
Divorce is honestly so hard accepting that defeat and the consequences that come with it. For her to also release her therapy session tapes aswell. She was super brave.
She uses Love Is A Game to finish out her shows in Vegas so you aren’t wrong
Is Caitlin’s 21 album reaction blocked for anyone else???
At first listen at 'Woman Like Me' and 'Can I Get It' i was like, well okay, this song's good but allright. But damn after couple of listens it's soooo goooooodd.
that swirl effect stopping the same time Caitlin says stop- WE STAN AN EDITOR. ik u said on twitter that u were very anxious editing this n i want u to know we love you so much n ur so strong!!
In love with this album.
I'm kinda sorry for all the artists that put out an album this next year ´cause I have a feeling Adele will swipe all the major awards. As she should. She's literally at different league from everybody else.
I just wanna say that you look beautiful in this video, love the hair and the vibe!
thank you so much!
i just finished watching your reaction to art the clone thing and i'm sweating and i can't even like..listen😭
Yayy! Hi Caitlin sissyyy🥺🤍🌱
i literally got chills listening to the chorus of Can I Get It for the first time… it’s easily one of my favorites from this album. so nice to watch other people falling in love with it too!
