I actually love the 488 on downshifts if you're up close, the sound is good and you get the turbo whistling, but doesn't beat the gunshot backfire from the f430 or the screaming 458, or the amazing 360 upshifts
I love them all! Motorsport fans across the UK, Europe, USA may sometimes take for granted what`s available to them. Down here in New Zealand when you see any Ferrari on track you lap it up because they are a rarity in this neck of the woods. And that is why I love RUclips content like this...it is a beautiful thing to see what is out there!
Group a R32 skyline, sauber c9-c11, Porsche 956,917, Bentley Continental GT3, Group b Audi s1, Lancia Delta integrale. It's not about being turbo'd, it's just the setup/ regulations that's makes them too muffled, quiet. There are many great turbo racecars
The 488 has more mufflers by the new rules on the tracks that other cars didn't have, without the mufflers even send turbo sounds amazing! I've heard one being tested in Maranello without the silencers and it sounds perfect!
BABAZ Absolutely, but in the case of usually high-revving, almost F1 sounding Ferrari V8's, turbos lower the engine's redline lessening the effect. The same thing goes for the screaming and whining flat-6 of the '73 2.8 Carrera RSR, compared to the more rumbly 930 engines.
@@azeQify yes i know, but Ferrari for the longest time was the iconic high revving v8 or v12, naturally aspirated engine that sounded like a f1 car. To me hearing the engine revving lower than the others it's not as satisfying, my complaint was about the Ferrari's in this video, i know that there are some crazy turbo cars out there, like the pikes pike Toyota Tacoma
I couldn't choose easily cause all The ferrari's are absolutely legendary, but the 488 has to be my favorite cause I've gotten to see it doing what it does best live. Also doesn't really sound bad like people say it does. Sure it won't scream like it's 430 and 458 GT2 Counterparts, but the sound is very deep and vibrant. It was also one of my first projects learning to soundmod for assetto corsa so it holds a very sentimental place in my heart. I have to go and redo the sound with all I've learned at some point, give this car the love it deserves.
@@Belgian-Motorsport Yeah, I get that quite a lot when I talk racecars with other people online. The 488 has always seemed to he universally hated for it being a quiet turbo car, therefore people get confused how I could like it so much that I would gladly state it is my favorite GTE of all time when there are "better" ones like the 458 and 430. Believe me, I understand just how great those 2 are, I still love the 458 and 430 greatly and could talk to you for hours about their greatness, but the 488 is still great in it's own unique way. In fact a running gag I have with some of my friends is that the 488 is such a great ferrari, it doesn't even have to try when it races anymore, hence why it's quiet XD
My list: Ferrari 360 GTC Ferrari 458 GT2 Ferrari 488 GT3 Ferrari F430 I always loved the 360 GTC sounds really awesome and IMO is the second best looking of these, first being the 458 GT2! Why I put the F430 so down the list is because I find it the ugliest Ferrari from the last 20 years. And the sound is not that soft for me (it may be to the camera quality) Like someone said it earlier, the sound of the 488 GT3 is good and deep but it is not how a Ferrari GT car should sound. But it sounds... good. Continues tes vidéos, elles sont super! You make awesome videos as always! :)
So which one is your favorite from these 4?
Mine is the 458 GT2.
Yes I would agree. The 430 comes close though

360 for me! Always will be 😍 love the 458 and F430 too, 488 isn’t bad, just a little quiet 😬

I love everyone of these, the 488 it's not as good tho, turbo engines doesen't give the same satisfaction when it comes to the sound

Le rêve. Ultimate goal when it comes to owning a Ferrari, it has to be a track version (GT/ NGT/ GT2/GT3) to really understand the DNA of Ferrari.
The 360 makes a beautiful noise but the 430 is the best!
I saw one for the first time at Estoril in 2008 at GT Open and the noise was so loud!!!
The 458 sounds the best to me. Then the 430, 488, 360.
You can also notice the evolution of your cameras.
Now that I pay more attention, in order

458 (super close but I love the backfires from the f430 on the downshifts)

My favorite one is the F430 GTC 😍
The ferrari 458 gt2 is my favorite
488 makes a great sound, especially the "stututu" of the turbo, but just wish it was louder

Ferrari 360 GTC

Merci, I prefer the 458 GT2 over the 360 GTC. But only slightly. Then F30 and 488. :)
@@Belgian-Motorsport Yes the 458 looks awesome in all of its variants :)
458 is the best
What does GTC mean?
I'm not sure but I think it stands for GT Competizione
Gran turismo competizione
For me the best sounding is the 458, then 430, 360, 488
why is Ferrari not making F8 tributo GT3?
I don't know, it's just a face lifted 488 though.
There are concepts of a SF90 as a hypercars for WEC. Pretty sure it's not official, but keep an eye out for that.
Maybe because the f8 is ugly as shit.
@@aydankhaliq2967 man what have you been smoking
Sound of f430, everything else from the 488.
Me gusta mucho el 360,pero me quedaría con el 458 🤣🤣
bruh the other three sound amazing, then the 488 is just... sad
ahahah the 488 sound so bad compared to the 360 430 and 458
ok but the turbo noises🤤
