They are coming, sorry for the wait :D I released a video yesterday that gives a bit more information why it takes so long. I'm working my way through my backlog of videos and Berget 18 is in there.
Thanks, I went back and forward thinking how I would do it again. Came to the conclusion that we first need to establish who's there, what unit size and who's leading what and what we're going to do. Now it was chaos to get trough that point.
Yeah shit happened 😂 but we could not send the vehicles forward if I knew they would just get shot and block the road again. And yes the forces in crossroads was disorganised and my reasoning on not pushing MAD agressive forward was that if we have barely enough people and coherency to defend the crossroads, we definitely did not have the capabilities to attack the blue base by assaulting forward AND actively defending the rear from the blue that were coming to assault us in the crossroads. Not all the blue would have stayed in the crossroads for sure, they would have started to follow us and we would have been fighting two directions and would have been cut from reinforcements. Reports were coming in of the new blue contacts that hinted of blue getting teinforcements and we did not that was a bad omen itself already for the planned assault. And if we pushed our reinforcements would have to do the same fight again taking the crossroads because the blue would for sure setup their defence exactly like they had it at crossroads before that caused the clusterf*ck with just a few hidden AT-4s 😅 It would have needed more forces to actually take on the blue base and that is why I was keen on opting to hold crossroads not to loose it in hope of reinforcements and then try again when we really have a foothold there and more forces coming 😁 And yes it was ok for you to get people to communicate again 😊 I just dont like someone else ordering my cars to move up to crossroads to their certain destruction just because we have a bit of a line backing up 😅 feeding them easy kills does no progress. But we learned a lot from that and this year we will do good 😎😉
Yeah, it was a good learning experience. Things that went wrong imo, - No communication with different elements and all doing something that they thought was good. - When a plan was made, when it changed, we couldn't call back people - Standing still in the open - We had numbers but was hard to work together We had 3 bigger forces that were looking at each other and one car that nobody knew who it was. That was blocking the road. When I came from your people and then saw the black van rolling up, I thought it was your guys. It was only in the video I noticed it was the Swiss. So I thought that it was the time to push up on all sides, but it wasn't. That added a lot to the chaos. I believe that we had a good force and not a lot of blue forces were on the crossroad holding us back. The crossroad is an important part and you can hold a big force with a few guys. So I understand why you didn't want to give it up. Going to the blue base was a coordination with the yellow forces to disrupt the base and roll in. So al the blue forces that were out of the base, were a good thing. But it's difficult to thing what might have happened. It's in situations like this that you learn a lot and we did. So looking forward to this year to test it all out.
No more part? 👀

Nothing worse than standing around not knowing what to do. To keep the event going, someone needs to take control. You did right taking control.

I really liked this video! Hope to meet again at Berget 20! ❤
Thanks! I really need to start working on the follow up parts, yes I have a lot of footage :D
I will be there are B20!
22:25 Be very, very careful...boom! 🤣
Well it didn't blow up :D
For what it's worth, communication with multiple units is never easy :)
That's true, it was a good learning opportunity. It was a bit frustrating but it is what it is. We'll do better next time.
