I have always loved the fact that you can just cheese the hell out of most of the fights in this game. The "my turn" chain is a great example, and if you can make it last long enough, you won't even have to do some of the attacks that don't involve this trick or gaining/using star punched
My reflexes have dulled. When I was younger I could see anything coming my way in this game and now I get beat to a pulp by this guy(and soda) all the time. I'm training it to regain my senses but man, getting old is rough lmao.
Not really. The hardest timing is punching the eye that he winks just before he throws the punch. And even if you punch the wrong eye, the next eye he winks will be the one you guessed last time since he alternates. On top of that, he always makes his first move at 2:55, so it's all a matter of execution at the beginning. Plus he always does the wink punches after either of you get up from being knocked down, so he's predictable in that sense as well. It's tough, but with enough practice you can counterpunch the wink uppercuts fairly reliably. And even if you don't want to risk a counterpunch, you can just dodge the same way you would've counterpunched.
skipped to a random part in the video and he said "mmmland!" also love the little jingle that plays when you ko him with a star punch depending on what kind it is
Thats what the developers intended you to do. Once he tires out you wail on him and get 3 stars for free as if the game wants you to end the campaign with a 3 star punch for a cinematic finish. But the everyone realized that they could just counter the first two and end the fight right there.👍
@@VilikisTMA That's pretty cool, man. I put this in my funny videos playlist 'cause your laugh is contagious. lmao And the cut off "come on" before he gets knocked out is the icing on the cake. XD
Yo i also do this all the time. Difference is i get 3 stars then use them on him. And then start the chain. Cuz it spares me like 10 seconds if i do it right. Hope this helped in any way.
Making him dodge and throw counterattacks. When you stun him and the stun combo ends, if you throw an extra punch in with precise timing, he throws one of two counterattacks depending on which side hook you went for. Knowing this, you can exploit his AI to essentially control him. The only thing you need to watch out for is that on the fourth counter attempt, he switches to the other counterattack to throw off your rhythm, so just keep count of that in your head. TD Sandman is much easier when you know this trick.
Its his turn!
It's 00F :0

Don’t worry not playing for while is what did it you just probably need to relearn the tellls

Some of the moves can still be impossible timing though far as I will see.

@@VilikisTMA so the one eye wink is going to be where he throws his uppercut?
Yup. Be careful which way you dodge though. If he winks his left eye, his uppercut will go to the right, and vise-versa.
@@VilikisTMA ok
Sandman when it's his turn on the XBOX but Mac won't let him:
Everytime i see sandman's lose animation i cant help but laugh
The way he spins around and awkwardly just falls backward like that is so silly looking
So in the description RUclips says the game is punch out 2009 but it has the old punchout advertising or boxart…something ain’t right here
Mr. Sand man "DREAMLAND" little Mac *knocks him down*

It's a throwback to NES Punch-Out, where you could do the same exact thing.

I dunno if anyone pointed this out, but he has a similar infinite in MTPO as well. I just love how faithful they were to that game in particular.
First game where I really raged so much back in the day as a kid
guys it’s his turn let him have his turn
Am I too much of a bully for dodging left and right during the infinite? Nah.

Nah i also do that cuz i like to spam hooks and then do the overkill thing with a 3 star punch when he's on 1 hp
@@HeavyWalrus2 I meant the infinite combo
Just like on the NES
