If you are into tools and equipment related to lawn care. This is the place for you. Unboxing, quick looks and reviews of lawn mower, line trimmers and any thing else you can think of. No brand is off limits, Stihl, Husqvarna, Honda, Masport, Ryobi, Scag, Ego, Milwaukee, Makita, Dewault, Toro and any other you can think of.
Great review mate. Best trimmer on the market for regular maintenance work. Speedfeed head screws straight on and works great but you loose the auto feed button. That only works with the genuine Husqvarna head. Cheers mate 🤙🏻
Thanks mate. Cheers for the input 🙌
That whipper does a real decent job Tim. Good brand husqvarna is.
Looks like it does a pretty good job I watch a lot of lawn videos and you edge the best
Thanks Linda!
Nice overview of this machine 👍
Thanks Mate!
Again, nice to see what gear is out there. The auto feed sounds interesting. I do remember decades ago how Ryobi (I think) had a centrifugal release where speeding it up, on a petrol unit, released more line. Anyhow, there was one critic of an 18V line trimmer that said it kept cutting out. My guess is he tried to use thicker line without a guard (he wouldn't admit it when asked) & that the battery system was protecting itself from overload. Also, when 'twisted' 2.4mm line is specified, I guess that is because it runs with a 'lighter line' than round line. Maybe my guesses are way off though. 😉
Thank you Tim
I have still blower, how come you don’t have one. They’re really good
As a 45 year old Aussie male who has been mowing lawns since the early 80's and is only 170cm in height with some high heeled work boots. Using a snipper whipper, whipper snipper, line trimmer, weed wacker, line spanker ect it is difficult when one is slightly shorter than the people that use them.
That's why I'm shit with my technique.
Maybe try stilettos instead of your normal high heels. 👠🤣 JK mate, have a good day !!
@MrLangDog I tried yours, but they were too small for my feet 🤣
Big fan of your videos tim.....but I've had nothing but dramas with husqvarna products. Honda GX25 linetrimmers have never let me down. Cheers.
What dramas? And which gear?
None of there battery gear. I've had 2 petrol linetrimmers and both have died within a couple of months. I had full refunds....but the problem was they couldn't work out the problems. 3 different mower mechanics could not work out what was going on, but I was advised to change brands. I must say....I do like the look of that battery trimmer.
Hey Tim, awesome content mate. As a domestic user that likes high end products. I'm thinking of changing all my Honda gear over to Battery... I've seen your videos with all the good brands.... Now what would you choose/ recommend? however I'm thinking of staying petrol for the mower, I'm liking the masport contractor range. Cheers Pat
Nice review
Thanks!
What sock savers do you use Tim?
Blundstone
Did u stop in at your old place and make sure the grass is being looked after mate?
So many people think it's my place because I've mowed it a lot. It's just an old client. 😂
@ nah I meant did u go past your old place since ur in the hood ?
ahhhh no mate 👍
What dust mask are you using?
GVSP3
@turfandtools thanks, do you use this whenever your mowing, whipper and blowing etc?
Hey mate when it’s rains does it affect your equipment. Cause u have it out in the open ?
No most of them have decent ip ratings. This one can handle splashes in all directions. I wouldn’t leave them out in the rain though
Never been a fan of bump feed i use square duo cord in my weedeater thats a brushcutter lasts the whole time i can get around my yard and abit more and its not that annoying to just rip the cover off and unwind abit of cord to the lock position, my boss tryed to get me to use his little ryobi petrol one before xmas around our workshop i gave up drove home 3mins away and got mine hes would have never done what he want in the time mine did😂
I sold all my husqvarna battery tools recently, nothing but issues with them, all inside warranty period, but warranty claims would mean I was without tools for the whole season basically. Had the 535irxt, the mower, blower and rapid charger with 2x bli300 batteries. Had two chargers fail, the mower fail and then issues with the batteries. I've never had a milwaukee or makita charger fail, yet the $500 husqvarna one died twice (two different units), which takes all my tools out until it gets replaced. Very bad taste left in my mouth with the whole situation, so went back to petrol stihl.
should add, when they work, they were fantastic tools, but yeah - in the shop more than on the job unfortunately (and to clarify, I'm a home user obsessed with tools like yourself)
Man, that's a bad run.
Does the stock head ever come with husqvarna speed feed heads when you buy the whipper sniper?
I haven't had one come with a speed feed
Oh ok I thought they would always come with spares incase if you want to replace it. That would be a cool feature to have.
Ok do I buy the husky 525 LST or stihl FS 94 RC-E
Comparing battery and petrol doesn’t really work. You either want a battery trimmer for the advantages and limitations it has or you don’t I guess 🤷♂️
@ forget about batteries do I buy husky petrol or the stihl petrol
Ahoj Time! Myslím si že syn má Husqvarnu a je s ní spokojený. Ale má to jen na zahrady, kde mu bohatě stačí. Děkuji za predvadecku! 🌿👍🌿👍👋💚
Where can I buy a hate like that Tim?
I got it at Kathmandu
what happened to the podcasts and carthic?
I wondered too, unless I missed it being mentioned that it would be no longer 🤔
Carthic was overseas for a bit and we are just thinking about the best way to bring it back that is easy enough for both of us to commit to 👍
@ awesome can’t wait. 😊 loving all your channels
