I’m sorry if this is rude but I was just wondering what’s if like to be adopted,is it different or does it feel normal like do you get used to it or no
@@Countrymusic.4life Hello Gabby! I was adopted when I was a baby as well. It doesn't seem like a rude comment, it's more of an "I'm curious" comment and I always encourage curiosity. Since I was adopted at such a young age (months) I can't really say if it was different, but at some times it's hard because I don't get a story of how I was born, I don't get the story of my family's background. I was born in Guatemala and there are so many questions I want to ask my birth lady but I can't because I don't know where she is. I don't know if I have bio siblings out there and if I do would they want to meet me?? There are so many unanswered questions and one day I would like to see if I could find those answers out :) To me, it feels normal but like I said at sometimes it doesn't because my family looks nothing like me and I feel like I've lost that connection to my culture. My mom said I would dance a lot and I would draw pictures that looked like the Mayan drawings, anytime I heard Spanish music? I guess that is what you would call it, my mood would change and I would be happy. On the downside, I would get bullied for being adopted and I would also get bullied for not looking like my brother (Like that matters). If there are any questions feel free to ask :)

i cried watching this. as someone whose been adopted internationally as a baby, seeing a young couple sort of showing the process of adoption and the genuine excitement you have to be a mom and dad, despite it not being a blood child is something that rings very special to me. to just see your pure curiosity as to what the baby will look like and joy to be creating the nursery is so sweet and words can’t describe how happy i am for you two to become parents.
As a person who’s adopted, knowing how many kids need a Home but don’t get adopted this warms my heart. Congratulations on having a family you’ve always wanted
@@alyraye5392 I was a newborn. My bio mom had a lot of issues at the time and knew she couldn’t keep me from the start. I was 3 months premature and left the hospital on my dads birthday!
as someone who is adopted this means the world to me and I'm so proud of yall. This child is going to be so lucky and so thankful for you. You are changing their lives.
I am 17 years old and I am adopted. My parents adopted me when I was nine months old from Guatemala. As someone who is adopted, I have to say it is such a privilege. God gave me a second set of parents that love me unconditionally and he gave me a second chance at life. I am so excited for you guys! You will be amazing parents and your child will be so lucky to have you as their parents. Praying for you as you experience this unique and full of blessings journey. ❤️
As a person from foster care, who didn’t get that chance to be adopted or experience what it’s like to have loving parents, I’m so happy you two are doing this because there are so many children out here in this world who need loving parents like you two & deserve to experience what I didn’t get to❤
I’m watching this video while staring at my beautiful adopted daughter who is 2 months old, who I dreamed about adopting 6 years ago. Adoption is so beautiful but also comes out of loss. I’m so grateful we listened to Gods call on our life for our last two adoption because God is the God of healing broken families and bringing families together.
The child was adopted at two minutes old. Oh my gosh, my heart goes out to the first Mum, whatever the trauma and the child to that she went through and her baby to be adopted at two months. It must’ve been very to Matic for her. How are you? It better be an open adoption
As a woman who gave a baby up for adoption I am forever grateful for people like you. I am grateful that there are people who want to do this. I felt guilty for not feeling guilty. I wanted to be a mother more than anything but it just was not the right time. I get to see my son every so oftenand it melts my heart. God bless you
As a child of adoption, this story made me tear up. I'm so excited about what's coming and this little baby is going to be so blessed to have you as parents.
As an adoptee this video really just rocked my heart. I never got to see my parents at this stage in their lives but I thank God that He brought me to them. I tell my Mom almost every day how much I love and appreciate her. I know that I was meant to be in my family and I am so excited for your baby to be connected to you. What wonderful parents you are going to be! That soul is going to be so blessed by you. ♥️🤟🏼♥️🙌🏼♥️🤟🏼♥️
One of my close friends had a stillbirth at about 8 months along. It was absolutely devastating of course. A few months later they had adopted a baby that was born on their original due date. The baby looks like a perfect blend of mom and dad even though they aren’t biologically related. It’s amazing the paths that God will pave for us.
I was adopted at 2 days old & I will forever be thankful for the love & beautiful memories of the life I was given. I love my birth mom for her sacrifice & am so blessed to have been given the parents I had. Congratulations to you both! 🥰 You are truly blessed!
Oh, I’m so sorry that your first Mum I had to sacrifice giving you up but must not been easy for her and all the heartbreaking the aching carrying you for nine months and then thinking the only option that she had was to give you up. I will pray and hope that you have an open adoption because really is the only option and anything else would’ve been to selfish on the adopted peoples I hope that you have some kind of relationship with you first Mum nowadays and even your first family onions and where you come from and it’s really nice if you could have
As an adoptee, just making sure you know we get three birthday-style days. We have our actual birthday. We have our “gotcha” day (the day our parents bring us home. My family pranks us on our “gotcha” days and say “GOTCHA!”😂) And our adoption day, the day everything is finalized :) Because each day is so special.🥰 Congratulations!!!🥹🥹
I am a 51 year old adopted woman. I am crying as I watch this thinking of my mom and how much love she had for me from the beginning. I am grateful for my birth mother but my mom was the best mom anyone could have ever had. ❤️
It’s cool watching this back after seeing your new beautiful baby girl. Thinking it’s really neat how your baby was going to be born in 4 months and y’all had no idea! God’s timing is so perfect ❤ He loves us!
Coming from a girl that was adopted when I was 9 years old by my third grade teacher, Thank you! You are making the biggest difference! This is so amazing to be able to watch someone else’s story!
As someone adopted I can say you two are seriously going to be the best parents ever. I am so so happy for you guys and that baby is going to be the luckiest kid out there. Thank you for giving this child the chance to have a beautiful life ❤️
As someone who has been adopted this was super exciting and cool to see. My parents waiting almost 2 years due to miscommunication and paperwork. But when they first held me in their arms they felt God's peace and will fulfilled. What was super neat was that I was adopted at the same time with 7 other girls. We were all 6 months - 2 years old. But everyone kept saying, "Wow, each girl we were blessed with adding to our family fits perfectly!" I don't know what I would be if I wasn't in this family. But I am truly grateful I am right where God placed me (he sure does know what's best). But congratulations- you'll both be amazing parents! 💖
You have thousands of people praying over your new baby and your family. God bless you both. These will be the best days of your life, God is never late.
Watching Bella after the social worker told them they were “paper pregnant” was honestly the most wholesome thing I’ve ever seen. You guys deserve this! I’ve never been so happy for people I don’t know on the internet 😂
It’s so crazy to watch these vlogs back now and realize you were probably feeling so connected to little Story right around the time she was sent to this earth. The spiritual bond and connection is so undeniably real and there. God is so good 😭💕
I totally agree , strangers, yet sooooo happy for you......I know you will be excellent parents ( we've seen you with Lauren and Arie's kids and you've done so well with them ) , and maybe somewhere down the line God will bless you a second time and IVF will have a positive outcome....never the less your family starts with the arrival of this baby...best wishes to you both
I was adopted at birth and this is so amazing to watch. Been a long time follower and I'm so happy for y'all. My adopted mom was not able to have children and after many failed attempts of IVF and many other trials. God brought me into their lives at just the right time. So thank you for opening your arms to this alittle amazing miracle that is going to enter your lives very soon.
I was adopted at birth and it was and still continues to be the greatest gift I was ever given. You guys are going to be amazing parents and I am so excited for you to receive your amazing gift and be a gift to your child! I can’t wait to continue following your journey and see what’s next!
Darling, but you’re not a gift you a human being, you’re not a thing you’re a gift of God yet you are a child of God to be gifted in that way, but I always think of you first. Mum are you first and first started and all the stuff that they went through, was to be not easy for them and the trauma that you will come through as a baby and they did.
@@vickyfisher-bz4jj please do not impose your views onto others when you know nothing about their life except the fact that they were adopted! You don’t know if they have a relationship with their birth parents or not. There is no need to pity them either, it is not helpful.
@@Pandaboomina I think you’re right we don’t know anything about the first Mum the first parents and we pray that it is going to be in open adopt and then we pray that open adoptions are the only thing that ever really matters
@@Pandaboomina I appreciate that. @vickyfisher2003 I do have a relationship with my biological mother and am thankful she made the hardest decision she had to so that I could have the best life possible given her circumstances. I am not the only child adopted in my family. My parents adopted 11 children because they too could not have children of their own after several miscarriages. Not all of my siblings have a relationship with their biological parents, however, we were all given the option to get in touch with them if we wanted to when we were older. Some of my siblings did not want to or see a need to, some of my siblings did reach out and did not get a response, some of them did get in touch and things went very badly, and a couple also got in touch and have relationships with their biological families as well. Everyones situation is different. This is their situation and they will do what is best for them and their child. I was blessed with the best parents and they were and are the best gift I could have had come into my life. Not everyone is open to adoption and nobody has to be. I just know it is an amazing option for those that are open to it. Open adoption or not it is a blessing and I’m happy to hear their hearts are open to adoption because I know how amazing it is to be on the receiving end of it and after watching their videos for years I can see how loving they are and know they are going to be great parents.
As a adopted child myself, I am so happy you guys took the step towards adoption. There are many ways to become parents, and this might not have had your first preference but, I am forever grateful that my parents decided to not go the standard route but decided to adopt. Even though bringer your own flesh and blood into this world is a wonder, it isn't meant to be for everyone, there are children out there who don't have a wanting family, and to those adopting is the best gift they can be given. The adoption process of my parents was quite sad but if you ask them if they'd do it over again they'd say they'd do it a thousand times again. It's an incredible opportunity for yu guys and I couldn't be more excited for you! Lots of love❤
As an adoptee from another country, I’m so happy for you. I was saved from an orphanage in El Salvador 39 years ago and I count my blessings everyday. The love me and my Mom (adopted Mom) shared my entire life was so special. I can only wish the best for you two on this journey. ❤
I am adopted and this brought tears to my eyes knowing that another baby will know the love of amazing parents and a great family like I have. I'm so happy for you both! Congratulations!!!
I don’t think I’ve ever cried this much or been this happy for someone I’ve never met. You both will be the best parents that baby could’ve asked for. Couldn’t be happier for your family❤
As someone who shares your diagnosis I’m beyond happy for you! Infertility is so hard but it always leads you to Gods plan! You’re going to be incredible parents!
@@SJrtl her diagnosis is pretty complicated it's not just infertility every woman is born with how many eggs they will use throughout their entire life most women have thousands and thousands Bella has almost none. That's why they traveled the world trying to find someone who could help her. But there was another plan in this universe for them.
It’s such a beautiful thing that they thanked the birth mother. A lot of people automatically assume the birth parents were horrible and that’s not always the case. I hope you guys get to meet your little one soon!
Giving your child up for adoption is one of the most selfless acts someone could do. Recognizing and choosing a better life for their child over their wants.
Eyes filled with tears for you two dear almost parents. I’ve come to “know” you through Arie and Lauren’s videos and have always thought you are the dearest couple. You will be such wonderful parents, having watched how terrific you are with Arie and Lauren’s 3 little ones! I am a 72 1/2 year old, married almost 48 years, mother of two adopted at birth sons. I experienced 2 failed rounds of IVF, way back when it was in its very first few years of development, 9 rounds of failed IUIs, and 2 birth mothers changing their minds, choosing to keep their babies. I was a kindergarten teacher way back then. I totally “get” your heartache and disappointments. You will adore parenting your baby! Both of our sons were “our” sons from the day we brought them home from the hospital. I have NEVER thought of them in any other light, so thankful their birth mothers chose us. One of our sons has married and he and our daughter-in-law have given us two precious, little ones, one now 4 and the other almost two. I am soooo excited for you to become parents! Your little one will be so very lucky to call you Mom and Dad!
Congratulations! My husband and I adopted our baby girl after years of infertility. She’s the best thing that’s ever been ours. God moved mountains to bring her to us. And I know He’s moving mountains to bring you and your baby together too. Adoption is not easy, but it’s so so worth it.
If anyone deserves to be a parent it’s the 2 of you, regardless of how this baby comes, it will be a part of you both, this baby will be loved and blessed beyond believe. I am happy and pray our heavenly father this will be all smoothly for all involved!❤❤
as long as i’ve prayed for y’all and i’ve wanted you to adopt a child! this couldn’t make me a happier person! god is going to place the most perfect kid in y’all’s hands! IM SO HAPPY FOR YA’LL!
As a baby who was adopted into a loving family, I am so grateful to you guys! There are so many kids that don’t get adopted and go into the foster care system and you are helping them by taking care of one more child so I appreciate you. In the future, I’m going to adopt as well. I think it’s a beautiful process to make a child feel loved.
Why are you appreciate it for them adopting a child but okay? I think it’s always best maybe to adopt an older child. Maybe not just that newborn baby is newborn babies. Always going to have someone that wants to play saviour and adopt a child but they are so many older children. Of course you need to ask that message to be doctored for their understanding guardianship for something like that depending on the age of the child, but this would be a much better idea than just stop doing a little hopeless baby because the trauma of Mattix of the child and the first Mum would be absolutely something you could never experience.
As soon as I seen the title I started crying. That child is going to be so blessed to have you two as parents. Welcome to the wonderful life of being parents. ❤
There's many wee ones that are in need of a safe, loving and stable home. Being able to provide said home is truly special. Congratulations guys, and thank you for sharing your lives with us. Can't wait to see the new fam-jam member!
Congratulations! So excited for you both! Adoption is a blessing! I can't wait to see your baby in your arms. I sold the origami owl jewelry as a fundraiser for our adoption back in 2012-2014. I briefly met Bella at the 2014 convention and she said she'd pray for our baby back then. Three weeks after I came home from convention, we got the call our baby girl was waiting for us at the hospital! She's 8 almost 9yrs old now. She loves the origami owl jewelry too!!
I never leave comments but congratulations from the bottom of my heart and thank you for sharing. I was adopted at 2 by parents of a different race and they are literally the feet beneath my wings they're my best friend. I'm just so thankful for people like you two who want to take this journey. Adoption at any age is amazingly beautiful. All children just want to know what love is.
As an Adoptee, all i can say is thank you! Being adopted as a couple months old and knowing I was going into a loving family. I know you will do the same to your baby!!!
As someone who was adopted this is beautiful. My mom (who adopted me) was chosen just for me. My dad and mom are my best friends. My birth mom was 15 when she had me. My agency still keeps in touch. If you need someone to talk to they are great
I'm so excited for you guys!!! As an adoptive parent, my advice is don't be afraid or feel bad about doing it up (as much as your heart allows for it). Do the adoption shower, pray for your future little one and birth family, find the local adoptive support groups and training classes. Congratulations on being paper pregnant and I pray this whole up and down experience brings you even closer as a couple. ❤🎉
So so so excited for you!! Our journey looks very similar with years of infertility and now we have 4 beautiful babies! The Lord brought our babies to our family through the gift of adoption and we couldn’t be more grateful!! Praying that He fulfills your desire to adopt as well!!!
I think I’ve watched probably less than five videos of you guys because I just found you. First I can already tell that y’all are fantastic human beings, and y’all deserve the best, including having a baby of your own. I am aggressively sobbing over here so happy for you. Sometimes I cry watching videos like this because a piece of me is kind of jealous because I think of being a mom all the time. For some reason, though, watching this video and feeling the happiness and joy radiating out of you guys, there is no jealousy whatsoever. I am just purely invigorated with happiness and kindness towards you guys and what your future holds.
They randomly started popping up on my feed as well.... I'm so happy for them, and I hope all the best for your situation. I used to get discouraged watching videos also before becoming a mom but finally my miracles happened and I hope yours does someday too❤. Hugs🙏
Congratulations! Adoption is such a blessing and is so beautiful. I was adopted at 8 years old and being adopted literally saved my life. I would most likely be dead, homeless, or doing some really bad things right now if I wasn't adopted! I am so excited for y'all.
Congratulations! As the adoptive parent of four children (two half-brothers and two half-sisters) and as one who walked the infertility journey I can tell you the adoption journey is so worthwhile even with its ups and downs. I can’t imagine life without my children.
Congratulations! I was adopted when I was a baby, and I am so grateful for the life and opportunities my (adoptive)parents gave me that I wouldn’t have had otherwise. You guys are going to be incredible parents!
You just gained a new follower here after I watched the podcast with Matt and Abby. I just felt like y’all are so genuinely such good people I had to make sure I was following you. I agreed with everything you said in the podcast. I went through a miscarriage a few months ago and honestly was one of the most heartbreaking moments of my life. Now I am pregnant again and soon I’ll be a mom just like you! I know it’s a different path and story but the WANT and NEED to hold a baby in our arms is the same. I can’t wait to share your future journey with you here on out. :) ❤
I gave my baby boy up for adoption at 19 years old so he could have a better life than I could provide at the time. I am 34 and finally pregnant again and keeping my baby this time around ❤ The agency I used was through my parents church, which I am no longer a part of but I am grateful I did what I did 😊 Any baby would be lucky to have you as a momma Bella! Praying for God to work wonders in your guys’ life 🙏🏼 May the breakthrough come with miracles 🎉
My mom went through the same thing! She wanted me so bad… so she came and got me! I’m so grateful to have been adopted. You’re going to be the best parents in the whole world!! May our Heavenly Father give you the wisdom to be the best parents you can be❣️
i was adopted at birth, my mom also couldn’t have kids. This made me cry, this is the sweetest thing ever. I’m so happy for y’all ♡ Being adopted at birth made me feel so special and I still do. I’m so happy y’all are going to bless this baby and all the ways this baby will bless you both ♡
We got approved for adoption about a month ago . It’s been a wonderful year experience . It’s a lot of paperwork and classes but it’s all so worth it . Keep on and keep praying .
I started crying as soon as I watched this video. I've been praying for you guys ever since you posted your first video about your infertility struggles. And praise God! Sometimes His answers to our prayers look different from how we imagined it would be, but His way always turns out so beautifully. I am overjoyed over here, just so happy for you both. You are going to be the most amazing parents, and not only are you guys being blessed with this baby, but he or she is going to be so blessed to have you both as parents. Congratulations and I'm looking forward to seeing you both in your element as a mom and dad!!

Congratulations guys! this is so exciting! I work for an adoption law office in CA and every single adoptive family says once they have completed their adoption every single thing that led them to that moment was 100 percent worth it and makes complete sense. So happy for you guys!
My sister was adopted into our family before I was born, I love her with my whole heart. It’s so beautiful seeing other people being able to do so as well. Congratulations you two will be great parents I’m sure
As someone who is adopted I’m so happy you chose to adopt. Also a tip for you. Let the child grow up knowing they are adopted. For me I grew up that way there was no time I remember being sat down and told it was just engraved into me and i think it makes it so much better. It removes the stigma around adoption I guess at least for me. So proud and happy for and of you guys. Cant wait to see your new baby❤️
My heart swelled watching this. I’ve been following your journey to becoming parents for a while and I’ve been praying for the both of you that your dream would come true. So happy the two of you are getting your dream.

congrats for you 🥰! and if you would like a cute shirt with a graphic design featuring the words "We're Adopting" like the one on the thumbnail for your adoption announcement i can provide it to you on amazon 😇
Congratulations!! I was adopted at age 1 and I’ll be 17 in June. Adoption was hard on my parents because they just wanted me so bad! But international adoption takes a bit longer so it was a real test of patience but they prayed and my dad even wrote an entire song about what it’s like to wait for your baby, especially during the holidays. My parents have three biological kids who are all adults now and I was their final addition to the family. This announcement made my heart so so happy and full! Your baby is so blessed and they may be faced with challenges due to the fact that they’re adopted but love truly is so much deeper than DNA! Many prayers from Georgia
I’ve been a silent subscriber for quite some time. You two are so inspiring and although I can’t relate to the struggles you’ve experienced, I’m so happy for you both. This is just the first chapter. I feel strongly that amazing things will happen to amazing people. So happy for you!
This is so beautiful and I cried through the whole thing. I was adopted and it is such a special part of my story. I’m so grateful to both my birth mom and my parents. You will be the best parents!!
God has a higher calling for you, not only are you a mom but you’ll be a mom to children who needed a mom more than anything else in this world. Happy early Mother’s Day to you and many more to come ❤
I don’t cry over videos often at all, but this is so touching. As a mom of 2, both pregnancies were unplanned, I’ve always thought about all the women out there who cannot get pregnant. Especially in the moments of worry when finding out I was pregnant, it reminds me of the women like Bella who go through mountains and valleys to be in my shoes. Parenthood comes in many forms, I’m so happy for you guys! Seeing you in the baby section at target, I broke down! I know those feelings but I don’t know at the level you feel them because of everything you’ve been through. Many blessing for your family❤

I have no words to describe how much I love you, I just wanna hug you and remind you how amazing of a human you are ! 💖 Love you 💖
My family was built by adoption. One thing that was important for them to know... "They were twice BLESSED because two people gave them life and two people gave them a life" I truly know some of what you are feeling today and you won't ever forget this feeling. The trauma to the baby to the first mom must not be easy. The fact that she feels like this might be her only option or its only option that was given and there is no support does not think that they can look after their baby must be so sad
@@vickyfisher-bz4jj totally agree. Such a tough position to be in for the birth mother (and father and families depending on the circumstances). i cried watching this. as someone whose been adopted internationally as a baby, seeing a young couple sort of showing the process of adoption and the genuine excitement you have to be a mom and dad, despite it not being a blood child is something that rings very special to me. to just see your pure curiosity as to what the baby will look like and joy to be creating the nursery is so sweet and words can’t describe how happy i am for you two to become parents.
Me too it's absolutely BEAUTIFUL!
As a person who’s adopted, knowing how many kids need a Home but don’t get adopted this warms my heart. Congratulations on having a family you’ve always wanted

Amen! Preach ❤️

God bless you
Bless you 🖤. You shouldn’t feel guilty. I’m so happy you have peace and there’s a reason you do. You’re an amazing birth mother!

Amen!❤️

Birth moms are the most thoughtful and loving selfless people. They realize they can’t give their beloved baby a home so they find parents who can.

Bella, I just want you to know that you have a special place in my heart because there's not a lot of people like you in this world 🥺! I have no words to describe how much I love you, I just wanna hug you and remind you how amazing of a human you are ! 💖
Love you 💖
couldn't agree more 💗
My family was built by adoption. One thing that was important for them to know... "They were twice BLESSED because two people gave them life and two people gave them a life" I truly know some of what you are feeling today and you won't ever forget this feeling. Congratulations and Happy Family Day. God bless 💞 Renay
I have been part of the Della fam for so long, and I am so happy we get to see this next chapter of your lives and am glad you share this with us. As someone who is adopted its nice to know that people still want to give this opportunity to a child who is in need of a home. You guys will make excellent parents and I couldn't be more happy for you
The gratitude and love to the birth mother is such a sweet and thoughtful inclusion ❤
Thankfully, there’s wonderful couples out there that can give some of these kids a healthy, loving and stable home. Hopefully that gives the birth mother a bit of comfort when going through a very difficult time.
@@pixelp5000 it would be hard for the first mum and what ever they going thought,
I’ve never happier! Congratulations you guys. No one deserves this more than you! ❤️
