Oh, it makes me so sad the way the writers threw Richard under the bus. He trusted them, and was heartbroken IRL at the reaction. His character would NEVER have behaved that way in the 80s; back then he was everybody's friend in Port Charles!

Frisco is sexy and a great singer & charismatic and all but he's been a virtual "no show" as a husband & father. Mac is there. Always. Loving Frisco's girls like his own. Loving and devoting himself to Felicia, through thick & thin. Yes, it's just a soap. But, even in the real world JW and KW couldn't keep their marriage together. Very telling. Whirlwind passion & romance is intoxicating, but can leave one with a serious hang-over. Some guys are for love affairs, others for love. Some provide the best of both worlds. I think Mac's capable of both. He's a grown-up. Frisco is still that irresistible and totally irresponsible Peter Pan.

I love Frisco and I love Frisco and Felicia, no matter how much the writers try to trash them. There are plenty of killers, murderers, mobsters and kidnappers on General Hospital who have fans, so Frisco definitely can have fans.

Just because Mac is propped does not make him perfect. It seems the only way Mac can be considered "better" is to trash Frisco. If Mac was so great, Frisco would not have to be thrown under the bus.
