just wondering why not use a scriber for all the seams instead of free hand cutting. Overlap the seams about one inch and scribe. I never seen this altromastic silicone color around here, it would make a nicer finish. Also we mostly use top metal cap.Why not put the butterfly corner on first? I think it's easier and the use of power tape instead of contact.C an you tell me what kind of contact do you use for the walls? I am in Canada
***** I use power tape from Tarket. It comes in 3 different sizes I put one on the cove strip and two on the wall it sticks instantly and clean no mess to clean up
I would free hand the saems too but just for ASF. You would go thru so many scribing needles just for one length of seam. Altro eats up needles very fast.

Interesting to see different ways to do things. Would not use contact cement instead we use contact tape cleaner faster and considerably safer

also put the contact glue on the vinyl and wall then lay down then show him cutting a corner in with no glue making it easy

What causes the welds not to take I have had a new wet floor laid today by a professional and he could not get the weld to work
Glue in the join can cause that
Or not hot enough
Adhesive in the joints. Or the weld gun isn’t set hot enough to take. But if he’s a professional he should know all of this obviously.
