We headed out to a lil spot in mexico to hit some speed runs on the 89 stroker elite. Chuck got the 120cc to hit 91mph and did a few more runs, this thing is so fast. Then we mobbed around on the 72cc a bit. Well have to go back out for some more speed runs when i finish my stroker!!
This is awesome. Most people see a scooter and already get mad if they are behind it. Funny to see it take off pass cars. Be safe 🤙

1970 got a Honda 50 OHV Scooteret up to 105mph on Fairford aerodrome taxiway. increased compression, methanol and regeared sprockets and fairing removed. Bloody frightening!

Man we were doing this to these exact mopeds over 20 years ago! I had both the Elite S and the '89 Elite Es. The 89 was my favorite! I had a badass 114cc POP Watercooled setup on a candy red S! Also had a couple Spree's with the Dio motor swap too. Thanks for the memories 🤙🤙

Not really; my Piaggio Hexagon 2 stroke i had at the time had 10'' wheels and did 80mph all day long no problem.
Doing 70+ on 10" wheels isn't really sketchy. I've ridden a few 2t bikes with 10's and they felt really stable. My 2t ruck on custom 12" wheels have more vibration that those do.

Bro also, you gotta check the speed rating on your tires. Matter of life or death. Scooters come with tires typically only able to withstand their stock top speed. Those scooters u have are like 55mph stock and their tires will likely melt or explode over 65mph enough times or for too long.

You could also probably get a higher top end by putting your biggest tire on the back provided you have clearance.

Id honestly be fine with how its set up. If yall are going for 100, its gonna be horsepower limited or gearing. Which may kill all the takeoff and pull. That thing is fucking sick tho. Im interested to see how yours does being air cooled vs the liquid. Of course tho he puts the beefy front end on his 70cc and leaves the drums on the 90mph stroker. Love the sketch 😂😂

150 km/h on mopeds must be pretty scary. I have a "stock" 50cc 2 stroke, that does about 80 km/h, which in both mph and km/h is just a little over half the speed your's can, and that alone is pretty scary. And a friends 70cc Yamaha I took up to about 115 km/h, and that was sketchy, so even more than that, dude you guys are legends

@@cosmonsverga4351 idk, whatever the previous owner thought was good, plus a new sparkplug, air filter and battery. Then I derestricted the variator with a smooth through axle. It's a 2003 Kymco Agility Super 9 A/C 2 stroke for that matter

I'm not one of those safety dorks who demands all the gear all the time but that thing can't be stable at that speed. You need some kind of impact protection on your torso at least. Got to be twice what the engineers ever planned for haha.

I miss riding. I had a Honda Dio with a SYM block 72cc polini corsa fully ported, mini stroke malossi crank, 28mm oko carb, stage 6 clutch, S Trans, 7:1 gears, scooter alley scorpion pipe etc. Easy 75mph super reliable motor

Probably about a year or so
Usually the Clutch Large Main spring wears out after a month or two. or the belt stretches. I just make sure everything is tightened and treat the motor like I would any Ferrari 12 cylinder racing engine- with utmost Respect. Mopeds are fun. RHDSD

stroker motor, has a ton of mods. porting, boring, carb, literally everything you could do.
2 stroke motorcycle once popular in Taiwan, glad to hear that noises.
Nice carbs but try a flat slide with Shield or oval Venturi, you get fantastic modulation!!!

I noticed they make a exhaust with expansion chamber , like 2strokes, for the 139qmb, I wonder if it will make any more power? I'm going to be running 95cc, I'm hoping to see 70mph!
An expansion chamber on a 4T engine won't make any extra power

Need some speed rated tires we put big bore kits on the tao tao s they are 90 cc an run bout 47 mph but the 110 kit runs bout 65its fun an easy job on the four stroke tao Taos I had a pink elite flourecent pink in 89
