Appreciate the transparency. I am seeing a lot of inventory on the 2024 mustang gt's which is making me think dealers are morelikely to give discounts on them. Hoping they do, going to try and get one soon

So you received a quote to fix your car for $600 but you told Him $2000 because you wanted to upgrade your front end to an SRT bumper and modern headlights? Young man, I understand your frustration completely as we do work hard for our vehicles. Outside of mortgage or rent, it is the biggest monthly note we get. It’s a big deal. However, you can’t take advantage of someone because you would like an upgrade, justifying the up charge in your head because of the inconvenience and shitty car wash he gave you. If you really got a legitimate quote to fix your car for $600. That’s what he owes you. Not a penny more for the upgraded front end you want. Want being there key word here. I will say, smart move on your end with the gap insurance especially with pricing today on new cars. If you had a Devil on one shoulder and an Angel on the other, the Gap z insurance would be the Angel and the $2000 fake claim would be the Devil. Try something like this on the wrong person and they are going to ruin your day. Do the right thing. It may not be as satisfying in the moment but you’ll be able to sleep at night, in your own bed! Make the wrong boneheaded decision like trying to fraudulently work some guy over( I’m assuming he doesn’t know American culture too well and spoke minimal English….) because he is unfamiliar with how we do things here is just asking for trouble. Keep knocking and soon someone is going to answer. Make moves, just do them ethically

For real that’s not bad my friend payed close to 35K for a toyota Corolla otd and it’s not a freaken gr Corolla or anything. It’s not even full leather Interior

45k is a really good price for what you get. The invoice in my 2010 Camaro 2ss is still in the glove box for 44,000 I believe. My friend just bought a 2023 Corolla se with the sort package for 34K otd. Not even a gr Corolla
I payed 35K for a used salvage hellcat 6 speed with 19K miles that one of my dads friend sold to me

Hmmm…so you got $4500 off bc of employee pricing…idk man…I need like 6-7 grand on one of these to even jump lol🤷🏽‍♂️a lot of these cars are sitting bc of the high interest rates and dealer markup…I’m interested in a base GT manual…but I wouldn’t pay over 40 for it…

Good luck with the base price being $42k.

      @@tri3pleagentit’s actually $44,090 for a base GT manual…for me,I wouldn’t pay over 40…I’m in NY…even at sticker on a base…I’d be over 48 grand OTD…that’s knocking on 50k…not worth it IMO

Just saw a few for sale in California with a dealer price of $40,500.
Theyre coming down in price. Go with the 6speed. Theyll be cheaper and will have sat longer on the lot, burning a hole in the dealers pocket with interest.
To put this in perspective as well, there's plenty of late model S550's under 5k miles selling anywhere from $38-$42k. Use that as a bargaining chip, too. Why pay a couple grand more for a brand new car, when you can go pick up a barely used one and talk them down further? The dealer will undercut if you play your cards close to your chest and the right way.
Right before covid started, I snagged a '19 6spd. R/T for $32,500 OTD, down from $39k. Car was sitting on for almost a year and hadnt sold.
The deals are out there. Just have to know how to wheel and deal.
