Another thing to add especially for motovlogging. When using the quick capture button, the dji 2 will be disabled. So if you want to enable the dji mic, you have to press first the power button then the quick capture button. I hope they fix if with the next update
Excellent as usual. This is a good step in the right direction for Insta, but a shame about the reconnection delay though. When I bought my DJI A5P recently, the faster start-up time and Mic 2 instant connection were important factors in my decision to go A5P. I like the idea of the external mic and internal mic mixer...not sure if I'd use it but I like the concept. Is it available in the Android App though I wonder? I more or less edit exclusively on my phone so the additional options in Studio are largely superfluous (I know I'm perhaps missing out, but I find the phone experience just more engaging and intuitive!).
Thanks for the good video. One question: have you ever tried increasing the gain in the transmitter? This, together with the +9db in the AcePro 2, finally gives me a satisfactory level when using Bluetooth. Best regards, foto-gustav
Very informative video. The built in microphone sounds better than the DJI Mic 2 (which sounds a bit muffled) in your demo. It would be interesting to know if the audio quality improves if you increase the gain for the Bluetooth connection. Can you use different audio modes such as voice enhancement with Bluetooth microphones or does that just apply to the built in microphones? If so, can you set different modes for the internal and Bluetooth microphones (e.g. wind reduction on the camera microphone and voice enhancement on the Bluetooth microphone)? It is good to know that the camera supports more than one Bluetooth connection such as the GPS Preview remote. When I get the Ace Pro 2 one of my use cases is mounting the camera on the roof of the car with a magnetic mount, controlling it from the GPS Preview Remote and also recording a driving commentary track with the DJI Mic 2. I would then use Insta360 Studio to mix the camera microphone audio with the Bluetooth microphone audio. The demonstration that I have heard indicates that the wind muff on the camera works pretty well in this type of scenario. I look forward to your next video on audio quality.
thanks for doing this video, I feel like the bluetooth with dii mic is muffled am I crazy? the onboard mic sounds better to me - I do camera videos too - well done
Great explanation. I’m currently debating between the Ace Pro 2 and the Action 5. After watching most of your video I thought the Ace Pro would be the camera for me but the Bluetooth audio isn’t up to the standard I want. Do you know (or anyone reading this) if the Action 5 also uses Bluetooth to connect to the DJI mics 2? If it does, is the quality better? Or does it use WiFi? Note, I don’t want to use the DJI mic 2 receiver with an action camera as I want the minimum of setup/fuss.
The Action 5/DJI wireless connection is far better than just Bluetooth. Check out my video on exactly this topic. ruclips.net/video/O9REdB3FqEI/видео.html
Hey, thanks for the helpful videos! I just watched your ZV 1 vs Osmo Pocket 3 comparison, and I was wondering if you might be interested in checking this thing out: ruclips.net/video/vrQTZIz97Q0/видео.htmlsi=hzh03MMM9fFmDM4E It's a 2x optical zoom lens for the DJI, and I'm very curious to see how it performs. Unfortunately, it's only available in the US, UK, and Canada right now, so I can't get it in Germany. It effectively gives you 4x nearly lossless zoom when you combine it with the 2x digital crop in 4K. Looks like it might be useful.
Thank you very much for best explanations. My command of English is not the best, but when you speak I understand every word. Thx!
Glad to hear that! Thanks for watching

Yeah, BT connections is still a weakness for I360!
Clear explanation thanks for your effort
Thanks. Just received my DJI Mic Mini and getting ready to post some new videos - stay tuned!
Thank you for the explanations. Very clear and informative
Glad it was helpful!

Thanks for an informative video. If Insta360 could improve the audio quality, this would be a great option. But it falls short as it is.
Agreed - thanks for watching.
Thanks for this very interesting test. Does quick capture also working?
Спасибо за полезный обзор!
Рад, что ты нашел это полезным. Спасибо за просмотр.

Good question. Like to know also if gain control works with the Bluetooth connected microphone
Thanks. Very informative. Sound through the DJI mic sounds “mushy” in comparison?
that's because I don't think he has updated to latest firmware . also he could have used noise isolation and adjusted the voice in post with FCP.

When connected by BT, the only mic adjustment is the gain. You may also want to check out the DJI Action 5 Pro, if audio is your priority .

I think you may be right - about to do a more detailed comparison.
Does it work until now? Or dji removed compatibility?
Great explanation.

@ thanks and subscribed 👍
can you try Hollyland lark m2 with Ace Pro 2 if you have this mic?
Sorry, do not have this system currently.
…but I just ordered it!
Putting the video together currently. Should be posted tomorrow.
@ttl_channel great, thanks a lot
just posted: ruclips.net/video/mkP_itnfZLM/видео.html
When I connect my DJI mic 2 with Ace Pro 2 through bluetooth, the 32 bit float on receiver turns off by itself. Is there any way to keep it on?
Unfortunately not. No 32-bit float or on-board recording while connected to Bluetooth.
@ even can not record 32 bit float in internal storage?
