Santa Cruz Huatulco is a stop on many cruise ship itineraries, but what can you do in the short time you are docked here? We take you along on a POV tour of our fair town of La Crucecita to show you what a few of the great things are, that you can do while here for 6-8 hours.
Given the compact size of Bahias de Huatulco, you can walk to many destinations, you can grab a cab to show you around, you can book a tour through the cruise ship booking (which is generally much more expensive), or you can book your own tour that you can personalize to your liking, pricing and of course time line. As you do this, you are supporting local business owners and individuals, which is very important in Huatulco.
We take you along on a little walk into La Crucecita via the Tourist Corridor, but also around. We give you some ideas of tours you can take, while sight seeing and enjoying the local culture & offerings.
Here's a quick list, on the water:
Bay & Beach tours, Snorkeling tours, scuba diving, kayaking & surfing.
Arrive in a vehicle:
Pluma Hidalgo coffee plantation tour, Eco tour - visiting crocodiles and our turtle release, Beach tours, Hagia Sofia - Ziplining and nature walking, on Mondays the huge market in Pochutla.
On foot or other mode of transportation:
ATV tour, horseback riding, walking to La Crucecita and around town, Shopping, Mezcal tasting, Oaxacan food tour, market tours and on certain Saturdays the Organic market in Santa Cruz.

Great presentation, Probable Huatulco is the best way to witness the authentic Mexican life. So walking to Crucecita is a must to do here, even taking a walk is pretty easy. Good job Kristina and David
We agree fully. A quick and easy walk to La Crucecita is a 'must'. Thank you for watching and thanks for the comment, much appreciated. :)
Great video guys! Just got back to MB on the 15th after spending a week there. Loved it. Must have just missed you guys as we were sitting at our little beachclub for the Hotel Villa Blanca called Macuil for a few hours. First time in Hualtulco and loved it. LaCrucecita is bigger than we thought. Cheers!
Hello, thank you for watching 👀 thank you for commenting, glad you loved Huatulco. Hotel Villa Blanca is a great location close to everything. First time, so when do you return?
@@KristinaandDavid the Hotel was great and centrally located to the two closest beaches. Also went to Maguey and La Entrega via taxi. Now that there is a non-stop flight from Winnipeg, it appears Huatulco will be our annual December trip or even sooner as we are hooked ha ha. Going to Las Terrenas, DR in February. Keep up the great work with your videos and have a Merry Christmas. Cheers!
The DR is awesome! You'll have a blast, and see you back here soon! Thanks for the words of encouragement and the views, and see you back in HUX soon!
Another great video, keep them coming... looking for more "hidden" local restaurants!
There are definitely more restaurants and tours to come. Thanks for watching and Happy New Year!
dope video. i hope to relocate been in playa del carmen and cdmx .Hows the water in february for young childdren aged two and four and what things are there to do with small children?
The water here is beautiful, clear and warm and most beaches are very calm and swimmable. I'm not sure what to do with the little ones. There are other families here with little ones I know. Our kids are grown teenagers independent. Schools are good here. Thank you for watching and subscribing 🙏
