Tim Cammisa of “Trout and Feather” has been a RUclips creator of fly tying and fly fishing videos for over seven years. Happy New Week Tim,
Just received Your New Book in the mail yesterday afternoon. It is wonderful and I will take it to my fly tying club and share it with the group. My only recommendation for your next book, would be to use a blue or green hue background for your images. The gray, while neutral, diminishes the contrast that my aging eyes enjoy. Thank You for a Great addition to my fly tying library !!!

Congrats on your book, Tim! I've always appreciated your videos and your teaching ability. Question: in what ways do you feel that the book format complements or has distinct advantages over your video format of instruction?
Thank you for the kind words, as I appreciate them. This all comes down to one thing: Instruction. Be it video, print, or in-person learning, they all have distinct advantages and disadvantages. Versus comparing, I will share this about my book: "Fly Tying for Everyone" is a resource that contains modern patterns, techniques, tying tips and fishing suggestions in a bundled package. When I narrowed the selection to 13 flies to demonstrate this (a nice baker's dozen!), it forced me to reflect on critical skills and materials that would benefit the tier, while also ensuring the flies catch fish. This book is that resource and it's been my dream to be able to share something like this for the fly tying community I love so much.
