I bought a set of Dutch Army mess tins, they're made from stainless steel. Then I bought an aluminium mess tin lid with handle which doubles as a very shallow frying pan. If I go camping I take one of the tins with the lid, plus my Dutch Army stainless steel canteen cup, with a Pathfinder lid.
Great comparison I often wondered how well these stoves and fule worked as I've always stuck with the old British hexi stove and fule , while I can still get the hexi blocks 👍
depends really on the supplier dragon gel has gone up quite a bit but hexi seems about hexi the same price as its not as popular [ its not the new boy on the block]

Is there much difference in cost for the fuel? Really helpful video, I’ve done a bit of cooking on a similar rig.
