Interesting to see the event live. I haven’t been to a LIV event before but to many many PGA events. Being an ex-LPGA player I watched from a different lens. It looked like the golf was not the main event and the tourney was more focused on entertaining lots of non-golfers. Thanks for sharing and going to watch! We all need to keep growing the game of golf. ❤❤
I feel trying to appeal to non golfers is not the way to go. But, it seems to be about the money first and the game second.

I went to a LIV event and it was great!! Very fan friendly and got to see all the players close up. Mayakoba dropped the PGA tour and went with LIV probably because all the top Latin players are on LIV. Nothing controversial about it.

Having been to a few PGA events including the US Open, LIV is for sure different and unique. It will be interesting to see how it turns out. Very good investigative reporting. They really needed more shaded areas, it might sell more beer!

I think Liv golf is great. All the controversy between LIV & PGA in my opinion is really nothing. The PGA much like the rest of the States has a terrible history of racism. Just ask Tiger Woods. So them throwing dirt at LIV is really the pot calling the kettle black, no pun intended. Maybe a good subject matter for your other sport channel bud. @@donnanaccarato2966 I think what he's referring to is that LIV Golf has taken a beating for being funded by the Saudi's who have a bad history ion human rights issues especially against women, but if you look at the history of the PGA they're not squeaky clean either.

The PGA Ttour use to play a tournament in Mayakoba for years. I say that because you said is ther first golf tournament played in Mexico.

Need more Beers before the Chip and Putt for sure. There was a lot of negative press after the tournament concerning the lack of crowd numbers, I would have followed the Aussies playing for a bit more fun, the likes of Leishman and Smith.
definitely, it was funny actually the cameras were following smith around all day so we watched from the screen, it was so hot walking the course I don't know how they all do it. Didn't feel like there were a lot of people there either..

the women have their own tour but women are NOT excluded from mens pro golf. a few have tried but have failed to be good enough to score low enough to 'make the cut'. so your 'woke' is not the reason...

Nothing to do with washing mate, its golf changing its direction, maybe some are for maybe some are not but its changing! It’s great to have some competition for the PGA ….. nobody wants unchallenged regimes at the top forever, and the players benefit for themselves and their family… long live LIV & PGA
