- Coco's corruption finally reaches Okayu as she invites her into her Meme Review... This meme review has shown me sides of Okayu I never thought I'd see, such as her making dirty jokes. It was quite refreshing.

About Okayu:
Nekomata Okayu is a cat girl VTuber in the Hololive Gamers unit. Despite her playful nature, Okayu is very straightforward. She is honest to her feelings and doesn't push herself to do things she doesn't want to, tackling tasks at her own, relaxed pace. In the same way, she doesn't judge anyone for taking things at their own pace and tries to be accepting of everyone's point of view. While her slower-paced and relaxed vibe may make her seem like she's lazy, she is quite the opposite. To the staff members, Okayu is known as the "fastest responder" to their text messages. Okayu doesn't care how other people see her, as she once stated, "My only source of shame is being unable to feel shame." Combined with Okayu's innate love for comedy, she often plays pranks on the other Holomembers and smugly makes lame puns.

About Coco:
Kiryu Coco (桐生ココ) born June 17 is a dragon girl from the Hololive 4th Generation of Vtubers. Her true form is that of a seven meter tall dragon and her human form has big breasts and butt because "it would be hard to survive in the human world without them." She started to work for Hololive to pay for YAGOO's hospital bills after she crushed him by accident.

Okayu's next meme gives me life
Nextto memeee
Like Okayu once said, her sense of humour is like that of an elementary schooler, which this stream has shown.
Bless all the Okayu giggles that comes from that
"They're something that old men make then laugh at by themselves."
*Cries in Ina'nravel
That's quite a unique take on the term waifu Coco...
its...not exactly inaccurate either XD
no she just skipped the part where you pretend it's anything else and went straight to the point :P
Honestly kinda funny that Okayu likes puns too and enjoyed that meme that Ina definitely would've approved of, when I first started watching Okayu one of the things that pulled me into watching her was how she gives off the same relaxing chill comfy vibes that Ina does. Happy that Okayu enjoyed her appearance on Kaichou's Reddit meme review, even if she ended up another victim to Asacocorruption lol. Thanks for the translations Jin!
I was the reverse! I started watching Ina because she gave me similar vibes to Okayu.
Kinda out of topic, but I just noticed that your brock pfp is holding out onigiris (jelly donuts) and I see you quite often in okayu's stream/comments. Nice.
@@tatsuyabrando4450 I actually changed it to that pic from the one I had before after I began watching Okayu just for that reference as like a subtle way to show that she's my oshi. You're actually the first person to point it out and it had me cheesing with a good smile lol.
It’s quite a funny coincidence that they’re talking about puns because of a meme involving Ina, famed propagator of dad jokes. Sasuga.
Hasn't Okayu ben making puns frequently long before EN though?
@@PorungaSan Polka and Ayame have been making puns for longer. But since they're in Japanese they don't get much attention from us.
@@JimmyBoombox Rather than not getting attention, we just don't get the the puns and they end up being overlooked
That crushing of Yagoo's Dream Meme. Proof that sometimes, the classics are called that for a reason. For full effect, play Guile's Theme while observing meme.
When I saw it live, my thoughts were "Card Crusher, there's a meme I haven't heard in a *very* long time"
that was the sweetest "asshole" I've ever heard at the end from Okayu. precious. wonderful.
3:15 The subber deserves a medal for this
It's a godly line.
When you see Jin "speed subs" a video of Okayu you know that it's going to be amazing.
Not saying speed subbing is good for the community and you still have QC and other people to check your videos, but thanks for showing care to the community as always
Okayu's giggles and sense of humor was surprisingly refreshing in this. I think it is her easy-going nature that makes her so relatable to me.
Thanks for showing off her charm once again Jin ! 🙏 🙇♂️
F's in the chat for Coco, who will soon be found dead and with her yubis missing
Okayu: that's lame pun
Ina: *sad dad noises*
For some reason I know jin gonna be the one has faster translated for okayu
That okazu.. Is permission slip we need.
Yet *4 quality checkers* despite the shitpost review being aired 7 hours ago... damn, sasuga Jin.
and thus, hundreds of vtuber fans whacked it to okazu that day
Thanks for the Highlights and translation Master
Never knew that Waifu meant.. that
I learn things everyday
what waifu means anyway
@@blexbottt5119 we can fantasize together my friend
nah, i think Coco got it wrong somehow. it still meant wife
I mean, I guess that's one interpretation of waifu, but the meaning I *think* was originally used (at least the first one I know of) is a 2d/anime character that you would marry if they were real.
@@erryky29 oh yeah I knew the definition beforehand. This is a sarcastic joke. When I heard coco explaining it I was so confused lmao.
Great job as always jin. Thanks!
Feels like years since I've last seen that smug face meme.
@5:07
yagoo: “that smug aura, it mocks me...
Again...”
Good job on that
NekomaFAP OKAYu pun
Okayus laugh is so cute
Appreciate your hardwork as always! Big lifesaver :)
Awww... Okayu has a little bit of old man inside her. ♥
This post right here, officer....
Y'know, I wouldn't have expected for a long while that my two most favorite holo members would ever collab, but I am so grateful and glad that they did. This meme review was based af. Thanks for the well-done translation, Jin! Not gonna lie, "Nekoma-fap Okay-u" is truly a big-brain high IQ TL play lmao
I can't even pick my favorite moment cause I loved every single millisecond of it
What a great meme review with Okayu!
I feel like Coco misunderstands a lot of our memes...
“Hello I’m NeKoma-fap okay-u”
_Neko what?_
Okayu: I´m not fap material!
r/hololewd: I beg to differ m´lady
Thank you very much my brother!
3:54 Don't mind me just saving this and might show it to Korone
Damn Jin, u fast!
Other said "Goodbye, A**h***" to you
Me : Do you have another last word?
Okayu : "Goodbye, A**h***"
Me : i will follow you forever so i could hear Okayu telling me A**h*** everytime.
Could someone correct Okayu's and Coco's misconception about "waifu", I'd do it but I'm a broke (legal)teen
yeah that's quite a.... strange take on "waifu". wonder where coco got that from lmao
It's likely on purpose. She's given flawed english explanations during meme reviews before. Also, her reddit profile bio is "Your loving shitposting dragon waifu", so she's probably just trolling.
Memes review with Coco and the others will always make me laugh so hard
2:28 「あああ なるほど!」
100% yabai
Nexto meeeeeemeeeeeee
Good video.
misread as cocky okayu meme review
Anything about okayu you come to jins translation channel
I didn't even know the actual meaning of waifu until Coco said it. I'll take it
Her definition is only one way that people use it, and I'd argue that it's not what people usually mean when they say it.
ohh good clip :)
Next 👏meme 👏
This Meme review is selling well
I'm quite curious what Okayu means when she says you can't actually make the first pun in japanese. Anyways this stream was great.
For a quick and dirty explanation, the 'n' and 'o' in "ninomae" are written together as a single character when the name is in JP, so at first glance it wouldn't make sense to split them up
Specifically, Ninomae would be written ニ[ni]ノ[no]マ[ma]エ[e]
You'll also see this when Japanese people reverse words, Ninomae reversed in English is eamonin but reversed in Japanese it's emanoni. The first haiku in the clip "Shigure Ui: Poetic Marshmallows" is a good example of this
Side note, DDLC's Mon-ika joke suffers from the same issue, which allows the Japanese TL to keep the same response "that joke makes no sense in translation". Still a bit weird though, since it now implies Natsuki is getting her jokes from English, which doesn't match her literature tastes
_"They're something that older men make then laugh at by themselves..."_
*I guess all of us are older men then...*
*_This also proves that the theory about Ina being an uncle could possibly be true..._*
i cant be the only one that read the title as cockayu
* Bonk *
subs very much appreciated, thanks again.
I do not agree with Cocos definition of Waifu
yeah that's not really what it means but the stream was funnier because she was wrong lol
Waifu has a degree of context other than literal wife though (if someone said "my waifu" you wouldn't immediately think they were literally married) and I think she was trying to capture that extra context but its sort of difficult to describe.
@@mrindigo1069 It's not really hard to describe. Someone else I saw put it quite perfectly, it's an anime or 2D person you would marry if they were real. Waifu is generally only used for anime girls so it's basically anime girls people consider marriage material.
:3
That is all
Nekoma-fap Okay-u lmao
Coco: "Waifu" is actually a term Kaigai-niki use for, "Fap-material."
Bruh. It literally just means, "Wife." It has nothing to do with fapping. What the hell, Coco?
Like and a comment for the algorithm, gotta boost the real translators instead of trashy speedsubs.
Will you translate the whole stream and upload bit by bit?
