Nitrile gloves and respirator mask will def be things you'll want for continuous resin use! These are so beautiful!! I have these same hook molds. Lightly Spraying alcohol after filling them or lightly going over them with a torch will help get rid of the bubbles if you don't like them also. I love the dried flowers!
Wow wow thank you for the tip!! I have a heat torch but I don’t want to burn the molds so I’ll try the alcohol! 💓
@@itserinb No prob! Some people don't mind the bubble but some do. I'm jealous I didn't make any with dried flowers! They're stunning!
I love these. Will definitely get a set.
For the regular resin you can use a heat gun as it's not hot enough to burn the mold. I use UV resin so I don't have to mix and it barely have bubbles if any.
I love when RUclipsrs have some practical items in their merch line like your crochet hooks s it just makes me happy.

They are so cute!! Glad to see you are wearing gloves and you have ordered a mask. Safety first.
Next time if you hold a flame over them you can get the bubbles out (though they have a cool effect). There's different videos on working with resin :)
Floral foam. Sit the mold on it then use pins to surround it to keep it still.

These are gorgeous! I don’t know if they make molds for ergonomic hooks but if you eventually expand what you’re making I’d love to see some ergonomic ones :)

They need to be pretty sturdy because I used some caronxsusan bates that were acrylic and I broke the hook off one and the other literally snapped in half. I’m so excited for your merch!!!
Get a tray or box with sand to hold the molds. With a spray bottle dampen the sand so it holds the mold firmly.
Maybe you can put the molds in boiling water, can you do that? To straighten them out? I’m sure there a way you can!
When do you think you can get these out to your store? I can’t wait to buy them!

Omg Erin B those floral crochet hooks were absolutely gorgeous I mean I would definitely buy some!!! The holographic glitter hooks were nice I would definitely try the other colors though like the green, purple, and black.

I think its the mold that's weirdly shapped because the same one does the same thing in my set. Also over fill them . And yes I keep mine for ascetic purposes anyways because they snap really easily . I've broken a lot

Hello I was looking at your video and if you place your molds in hot water before you use them the will straighten out make sure they are dry before you use

How many ounces of resin did you need to make for each set of crochet hooks?
I always had the hardest time with the smallest size. I'd squeeze the tip of the mold to get the epoxy inside
Lol yes same! I squeeze and pour and squeeze again and pour and then use the dropper to suck out the bubbles 😂

You scared me I thought I really offended you at first 😂😂😂 sooo happy you like them!! They’re very difficult to make so it’s taking some time but I can’t wait to sell them! 💓💓
It’s a bit hard to tell with the angle but make sure you are in a VERY well ventilated room and make sure to wear a gas mask(?) not sure if that’s what it’s called… bc resin releases chemicals in the air that are very bad for you and cancerous!
If it’s warm enough where you live, I recommend working outside!

@@itserinb that's really good to hear. I've heard stories of people with permanent lung damage so please protect yourself💚 by wearing a mask when working with the liquid resin and sanding them
Resin is also just overall bad for the the environment. Not only how synthetic resin in produced, but the incredibly long break down time.
It’s a personal choice to consume these types of products, so to each their own. But I (personally) despise seeing resin become a bigger part of the crochet community.
You should put a mask to protect your lungs please!
