What size tyres on tractor? I’m assuming 30m plus boom width. Thinking of going away from SP sprayer for mounted or trailed but unsure of whether to run on narrows or standard 600 tyres

Hi Martin, Yes we are running 30m boom but if you can I would deffo recommend 36m, The tyres on the sprayer are 480's and on the tractor 600 on the front and 650's on the back. If your spraying tractor is also going to run the drill I would run narrow tyres in the summer then put some wide 710's on in the autumn to spring for drilling but if you will have a tractor just designated for spraying I would personally run 600 or 650's on the tractor all year round. cheers Andy.
