I remember reading the book, "Laurel and Hardy: The Magic Behind the Movies" explaining how The Boys visit to the UK was like Beatle-mania 20 years before The Beatles. In the dark days of the depression, these two wonderful comedians made entire nations smile and forget their troubles, if only for a short while.
How Laurel was not laid to rest in the UK really emphasised here, So loved his country never forget their son neither he them. Love the intimate moments with his parents (8.39) so touching and genuine.
