Hey, question. Does a pokemon half fire and half flying like charizard get less bonus for using fire attacks than a totally fire type like arcanine. Cause Charizard is only half fire, would that mean he would also only recieve half the bonus damage inflicted by a water attack because flying is not weak to water? Also, would a rock attack cause quadruple damage because fire and flying are weak to it, or only double damage?

I beat this elite four with only Mewtwo lvl 80, but I gave it super diverse movesets like flamethrower, ice beam, thunderbolt, psychic so its coverage is great. Of course by the time I got to the champ my Mewtwo was tired out, but I helped it last with only 2 elixirs especially because I consistently needed psychic for people like Bruno and Agatha and was running out of pp for all my other moves too. 1 full restore to prepare for the champ and 1 more in the middle of the match because Tyranitar was a pain... However my Mewtwo did me proud by always killing in one move.. 2 for the tyranitar, alakazam, blastoise
@Thundernurd he's already cleared the elite four the first time, cleared the sevii islands and fought the elite four a second time. by "second battle" he means that this battle features Blue/Gary's leveled up pokemon.

yeah, I like having meteor mash as an alternative against ice types, although with Tyranatar having flamethrower, it kind of makes it used less. I'm not sure what to replace hyperbeam with; I decided to go with it to have all my type bases covered. I use it a lot when I don't feel like switching pokemon but Heracross' other moves don't match set. I want to get rid of the legendaries eventually, but the trick is finding pokemon that can cover the same huge bases of TMs they have. I was thinking
Training Moltres, Zapdos and Articuno is also very useful. Moltres learns Heat wave and sky attac and Articuno learns Blizzard and Sheer Cold. Together with its mind reader and Sheer cold, it can defeat the strongest of pokemon.

well around fuchsia city, and the place on the left side of celadon city, where you have to go with a bike in there, and the way before fuchsia city. they have around lv 29 pokemons and sometimes 33+ and when you win, they give like 1000+ exp
