How thick is that plate that the chains go through? I have a farmi I'm redoing but it had notches on top. Was all bent up. Was thing putting a chain catch like that. I guess u don't recommend though

I had a farmi also and the same thing happened. this plate 1/4" reinforced on the wallenstein
