    Ironman casters should really take notes here. Trevor and Helen are doing an amazing job.

    Much thanks for the highlights the day after the event, well done. The commentary is first rate with Trevor and Helen. Trevor is the BEST at post race interviews!

    Hayden is going to be unstoppable at long course with his bike and run strength. Would love to see him and Yee go head to head in Kona one day.

      Ironman is for athletes who's strongest discipline is a long TT; aero, strong, comfortable psychologically being solo and exposed for hours, different type of endurance that these guys are trained for. Let's see

    Why even have a bike leg?

    • @juancarlosjuancarlos4629
      @juancarlosjuancarlos4629 4 месяца назад

      Bike leg is so underrated by average spectators. They are cycling 5.2-5.3 watts/kg for 50 minutes. Also over 60x 10s sprints are taking a lot of ATP and CP. First 2 laps they are cycling often at 400-410 watts. You can be Berega or Ingebrigtsen, but if your threshold is not over 5.5 watts/kg you will not run in TOP10 at WTCS race. ITU guys can bike

      Just draft in a huge pack...boring.

      @@davidgagen9856 you clearly didn’t understand what I wrote in my comment. So, watching TDF or Giro is also draft in a huge pack for you and boring. Did you see that Crociani and Pearson dropped on the bike leg and Milner didn’t managed to bridge to the first group with Helwig. Yeah, why even have a bike leg

    • @davidgagen9856
      @davidgagen9856 4 месяца назад

      Yeh saw all that......most of pack stayed together....whole event now usually starts at the run unfortunately in these sprint distances. Obviously the swim now more important to get into the front pack...but everything I have said is blindingly obvious.

      @juancarlosjuancarlos4629 4 месяца назад

      @@davidgagen9856 you don’t even know what distance they raced. It was standard distance, not sprint. To race WTCS you need to be strong on all 3 disciplines. Every weakness is exposed in WTCS racing. WTCS racing is not running race like you think. Or running race for good swimmers. WTCS is for complete triathletes
