Layton Lakes is still my favorite map, with the Rocky Mountains map being second by a bit of a margin. There's just something so immersive to me with this map. Between that and the animals, especially whitetail, I play this map far more than any other.
Last night on July 30th I found 1st max weight monster Buck, Whitetail deer during feed time in Layton Lake Districts Through the binoculars was 236-277 Gender: male Weight: 100.00kg (max weight) Fur type: Tan Difficulty: 3-Very Easy Trophy rating: 269.58 Distance: 83.21 meters away Shot: flesh and a double lung
I found my 1st 3-Very Easy (Diamond) at night during resting time Found the rare fur type - Piebald in a feeding time during between the 16pm till 20pm
the secret water area, all i see are coyote watering holes and not alot of deer tracks. did you complete story line or something to kill the coyotes to help the deer? Just wondering what im missing
Nope, there’s always a good chance you don’t have zones there since everyone’s map is slightly different or it might take your deer longer to get there. Either way you don’t have to do anything special to get drink zones.
Animals do not grow in this game, if it’s level 1 it will stay that way until you shoot it, then a respawn will appear in its place and that can be any level 1-3 or 10 (which is the great one) And yes you can shoot the level 2s
I couldn’t find the drink zones after looking around for them I can discover feed zones but I can’t figure out how to discover those drink zones could you help me out?
Sit a couple hundred yards away from a lake around 7:30am and just wait. Use calls. Something will eventually come up and drink. You should be able to identify it that way also.

Would 7mm magnum be too powerful? Or is there such thing as too powerful?
7mm works great, but yea there is such thing as too powerful
I wish their was a way to get them broadside easier

Walk the edge of the water of the lakes and look for tracks. Usually pops up like 2inches in the water for me for some reason though. I'm on xbox.

this is probably a dumb question, but what do u press to show the organs of the deer and which ones u hit
On Xbox it’s RT, I’d would imagine on PS it’s R2 not sure about PC
