Hi Tib's, should work well, just take your time pushing the boat back in if needed. I used to be part of a local boat club and had a few different boats. One was a Ripmax Tug a small one and only a small motor. It was all rebuilt to look nice and I have pushed a 7ft warship back in with it. That's how I know not too much power is needed.
Thanks for the Mal. I was kind of thinking the same, that i would just slowly push the boat back to arms reach rather than try to do it at speed. I am feeling confident that this will work and i have bought an extra battery as i dont think one battery will be enough for a day out if i have to do a few rescues. But i will go and do a test run soon buddy.

Yeah, puddle has gone. It was totally empty. I even found Duncans GoPro sticking out of the ground !!!!! There’s a little pond thing not to far from my house, a bike ride away, i will probably use this for the test. But again, still water will not be the same as that lake thing that we went to, but time will tell !

@@tiborvon some do and some don't mate, it's a lipo battery inside and once it's dead there's no reviving it from -0% I recently replaced the battery in mine but that's only because it wasn't holding a charge or recording for long periods 🔌🔋

I have thought about this Nickster. But i have decided that i will try it without first because any extra foam etc, will just cause that little bit more drag. So my intention is to try is without any foam or additional stuff and see what happens. I think that it should work if i push at the side of the upside down boat rather and the front or rear of it, but we will see my friend 👍

Tibor! We have a couple of pro boats and they are very fun. This is a good idea for a rescue boat. Wonder if that little motor can push the bigger boats you usually run. Maybe one of the bigger cheap rc boats will be needed…Time will tell…😀

I am hoping that i dont need a lot of power to push my boats in water because they are floating and there should be very little weight to push, in theory !!!! Lol. I will try and do a test run soon with the Boataghini and if successful then i will try it with the M41. I have also bought another battery because i would think that one battery may only last for one rescue, depending how far out i am from the edge of the water, but to be honest Paul, when i was out on the lake that time, then I wouldn’t go too far away from the side for this reason. That’s mint bro I realised when I used my recovery boat too much power made it go slow but half throttle cruising speed went quite smooth . You don’t need much power for a recovery boat . That’s perfect I wonder how it performs.

Hello buddy. Yes, the puddle it as good as gone at the moment. I went the other day to do the first run video of the military jeep and i also took a little Volantex 30 boat with me for a little first run video =but there was no water lol. Like a desert 😎. But listen to this !!! A few months ago we had a group day at the puddle, one of the lads lost his GoPro 5, it was attached to his boat and it came off. We searched for it for ages and every time i went to this area i always had a walk through the puddle to look for it and was never successful. Well guess what, i got there and it was total dry and as i walked across what should have been the puddle, i only bloody found his GoPro sticking out of the ground 😂😂😂
