Air 1 finds and returns Gingerbread to Venice Elementary

This week is gingerbread week in Kindergarten at Venice Elementary. The students read 3 gingerbread-themed books. The kids discussed the stories, and each made a gingerbread boy or girl to place on the classroom tree. Thursday, when the kids arrived at school the gingerbread boys and girls were gone --- they had made a run for it! 🏃‍♂️ One gingerbread even escaped outside of the school.
SCSO Aviation was asked to help get the gingerbread back safely. Watch the video to see the return take place! As the Tactical Flight Officer said, "The missing gingerbread man has been returned safely to Venice Elementary. We’ll be 10-8.”
