That young male is a BEAST...another 2 or 3 scoldings by mom and he will rule Londolozi! I just love big cats but I'm ready to confirm my favorites are leopards -- amazing creatures. Thanks so much for your informative and entertaining work!
Thank you for the excellent contents and video you bring us every week, pity you could not catch any of the kill made but i guess that is nature for you. You snooze you loose, lol. Keep safe and God Bless.
Hi LGR. That clip was so very interesting to see and watch. I hope the young Styx male lion and the breakaway female both have some cubs of their own together very soon one day. I know they've been together for quite a while now, but I don't think they've mated long and hard enough to get her impregnated successfully. I bet they were both feeling quite pleased with themselves, to have caught and killed a large adult female buffalo and her calf to enjoy feasting on together for several days on end, until there's almost nothing left over for them. I'd say the Styx male isn't quite mature and experienced enough to mate with her yet, really. But fingers crossed that they form their own little pride together or separately. I thought they looked quite exhausted after stuffing themselves to a large belly full and almost to a point where they could barely move. The breakaway Ntsevu lioness must be at least twice the age of her bigger boyfriend, the young Styx male. He also needs to team up with other young males of his age to form a coalition, establish a territory and also get a pride for themselves first of all. It will be interesting to see if the 3 adult lionesses of the Ntsevu pride will welcome her back and tolerate her together. What do you think they will do? I find it pretty hard to believe the young male cub of the highly experienced & successful 13 yesr old Nkoveni female is at least a year old by now. She has done incredibly well to get her young son that point in his young life that he's now at already. Hasn't she? I know she'll be thirteen in August, but I hope she'll be able to produce at least two more litters of cubs before her time is up. She's so very good. It seems just amazing that she and her fast growing son both very successfully caught an impala each. She got just a tiny impala lamb, and her son caught a large adult female impala for himself. I bet once she had finished her baby impala kill, she'd probably get herself on to her son's large female impala ewe kill and forcibly get him to share it. That kill will last them at least two or three days together. It is incredible to know that the one single cub of the nearly 10 year old Ximhungwe female is yet another tiny little male. I do hope she raises and gets it to hard independence just as very well and successfully as she did with her two older young sons from her first and second litters, respectively. Although she will have her paws full, I'm very sure sightings of her will increase once her tiny cub is a bit older and she starts leaving him at the densite or in the safety of a tree, where he'd be safe from the dangers that lurk and patrol the ground below. It was very interesting to know what gender the cub is now. I can't wait for the next update on her and her tiny little cub, either next weekend or during the course of the week. If you've got any more news in the lions and leopards for me, then do let me know as soon & as quickly as possible, please. Hope to hear from you shortly. Robert 12.1.25
Thank you for your comment and for following everything so very closely. Yes, the Nkoveni Cub is about one year old now. And it is interesting that the Ximungwe Female has given birth to another male cub. We will post updates here as and when we can but will continue to maintain our Virtual Safari's being published on a Sunday. Keep well, Sean
He is only one year old. He was born in January 2024. He still has a lot more growing to do and will turn into an enormous and impressive male if he makes it to independence.
Wonderful Sean! Wow such beautiful rain has fallen, wow what an end to the drive an impala birth, such a blessing! I think the one the leopard cub caught was pregnant?? Thank you from me in PE 🇿🇦❤️🩵🩷💚💜💙🩶
So glad you loved it, Wendy. We are truly blessed with the rains here now. Its actually still raining today. The ewe could have been pregnant, she had a large belly.

Young Man ( Leopard ) congrats on your catch, your mom has been teaching you well.
It was an impressive hunt by the young leopard.
My favourite animal channel. Love the action, commentary and extra info on the screen. So informative. And we use the term ‘brolly’ in Australia too 😊
Glad you enjoy the channel, and it's great to hear we share the term "Brolly" across the other side of the world.
Outstanding Footage & Amazing Sightings!

WOW I SEE YOU CROSSING THE RIVER!!!AREN'T THERE CROCODILES IN THE RIVER???
She is training her son well
👍❤
Short rains I guess.
The female leopard looks very big. More like a young male especially with the dewlap
She is a large female with a very thick neck and low-hanging dewlap.
You bless croc not in the water
Thankfully, it is extremely unlikely that there would crocodiles in that river. It is normally dry.
@londolozigamereserve okay
Her son looks 4 he has that duwa under his throat? How old is her son? mom got to stop underestimate her son.

@londolozigamereserve oh this one will make it. If humans don't intervene. He has great genes. Who is his father?
Your grandfather must have been an Englishman. Brolly is an English slang.
Thanks Sean... fantastic video as usual..brolly Is an Aussie term as well..😁
Yes, he definitely had some Englishmen in him. His nickname amongst family and friends was "Bolly".
Leopard is still the strongest single predator among carnivores.
