About Me: I'm Kyle Le and these are the places I've been, the people I've met, the foods I've eaten, and the many things that I've seen...Originally from Southern California, I moved to Saigon, Vietnam after university and lived there for many years. Then, I traveled the world finding and documenting stories of Vietnamese people living outside of the homeland. Then I finished my master's at USC and now... well... you're going to have to follow and watch to find out!

and thanks to Sam for trying new things and sorry for not cooking the eggs long enough hahahahaha!
I will try again! I need to 😂
@@sammiimartin Duck next time in Vietnam!!!
@@sammiimartin yup, try it in Vietnam next!
@@kyleledotnet LOLZ in vn? I feel like sam will have a really difficult time adjusting to Vietnamese common cuisine and culture in vietnam. She'll be grossed out quick. Like 0-100 real quick. Not saying because she's half caucasian; more so she is too westernized. She wasn't exposed to it in her younger years in the #519. Sam seems comfortable in familiarity and there's nothing wrong with that.
Dont sweat it sam. Some of my viet friends wouldn't be able to eat some of the things kyle eats. Even i can't chow down some stuff kyle eats and i am as viet as they come 😂🤣. But hột vịt lộn is a common staple eats for any poor Vietnamese. Also, plain white rice and a little plain fish sauce too. Ask your dad, he knows what's up.
Hey kyle, im just curious, where is chú Hùng from in vn?
We love having Kyle around. He Brings so many people together 🖤🤍 thanks for giving me a bit of Vietnamese culture to my life. I’ll forever cherish these memories
I'm surprised you actually put the entire balut in your mouth. I think you are more adventurous than your siblings lol
love u loads
Great job trying balut!
I keep rewatching! All the laughs 😂
Cheers nice video! Cool to see you introducing her to Vietnamese food and culture.
You Rock Kyle. More 5 sibling video please. What a story!!!. they make me cry everytime watching their video.
So glad you’re reunited with Sammi and family!
Enjoyed your video it really is wonderful how you get people to come together as family I remember back in the days eight years ago when I used to watch you and still watch you and just amazed at how you bring so much joy and happiness to everybody around you, you make us all feel more than just friends like family. Thank you for making us a part of your life. Leo From Vietnam D-8
the look on her face when u ate it like a boss. i cant.
Love the way she looked at you while you eat, lol I needed that in my life please
It’s nice seeing you guys keeping in touch. Sam has matured so much! When are you guys going to be visiting Vietnam together?
Hehehe soon!
@@sammiimartin please make it soon
It’s all in your head! It tastes good!
Haha she looks like she’s going to cry with the egg. Honestly I’ve never had it either and am terrified 🤣 omg her facial expressions are hilarious 😂
Don't be skeered! 😅 I'm as white as they come, and I tried them, they're really good. :-) Get yourself the lime and pepper and Vietnamese coriander with it.
loved watching this one! so funny
I love it I like how she reacts to eating the egg is very funny😂😂
Finally a guest that shows actual emotion and social skills lol
I love the camera!
I love balut!!
We gotta embrace the love for our natural background culture. we are who we are with the culture we were born in.
these days, even full kids tend to speak english more when they grow up. we should not abandon our true heritage.
i have 2 nephews who are half Viet and Haf British, and i want to teach them Viet culture and to speak and learn their native Viet language more, not just English alone.
as you grow older it is much harder if you start to learn, so its always best to learn it from the very early stage.
I’m struggling with duo lingo learning viet but thankful I work in a salon of all viet workers. I have hope I’ll pick up the language. Maybe my pronunciation may be off but I will learn! I’m determined
I can’t speak vietnamese but ive always been so immersed into the culture with foods and some traditions. I also hung out with a lot of Vietnamese friends and even joined Vietnamese Student Association in school to at least get to know my culture more
Nice video thank you 👍🏼
12:11 is pure gold
This was so entertaining lol
Loved the video like all of your videos. I first tried Hot vit lom from a street vendor you went too on on of your early videos near Bá Lễ well Hoi An. One of the best experiences in my life. The video of me eating it is on my channel. Thanks for all of your great videos Kyle they are my favorites
That really is my favorite balut spot I’ve ever tried and I’ve tried a lot, including some famous places in Saigon and bien hoa… that was the best. Hope to return to it one day.
Same mate. It's one of my favourites on earth. Living in south west Australia I don't get food any where near as good as Hoi An
I had to stop playing COD to watch Kyle's new upload
Sammi sooo cute💕
Loved that she tried the balut lol 😅
The best way to tackle the the ba-looty is to add a vinegar, salt , hot chili mixture .
Will keep this in mind for next time
I laughed so hard when she gagged the texture out lmfaooo 😭😭😭 props to Sammi for trying it!!
Fear Factor... lol. I love balut
Omg. Kitchener my home town
Sam’s face when you were eating the balut 😂😂😂😂
I am new here! I came during the Viet trips with Chau. I am out of loop with with the reunion video. Is there a correct order to catch up on this context?
Start with Girl Finds Her Birth Family, then the behind the scenes of that one, and then Sam’s and seleenas story, and then Father meets all 5 children (Saylors story) and the behind the scenes of that.
Ohhh...boy....I did ate balut one time. My family ate them all this time. 😅
my dad always eats the bird and gives me the yolk part of the balut LOL
Kyle is the rizzard of Oz
"Watch me, I'm asian" lol, love it
This is funny af.. 😅
I'll do the same thing like her when dealing with balut
I often eat duck gizzad by small spoon, and one by one
Samantha must go to Vietnam !! To immerse herself in the beauty of Vietnamese culture, cuisine and the natural wonders of her heritage! Visit Hanoi , Halong Bay, DaNang , Hoi An & Ho Chi Ming City ! As a kid i wasnt allow to eat the chicken. And only the hard part (membrane)? But as an adult now i see why they refuse to give it to us lol. They were greedy

Gotta say, I’ve never had chicken balut lol

Cute
I can’t eat Balut either.
First time drinking coconut? Damn
Dude, those round coconuts are different than the young coconut....they are more aged, but not yet so old as the hard brown ones with milk inside.
U R close. it's Vietnamese mint.

Close your eyes and slurp 😂
The juice was delicious!

@@sammiimartin yeah, if you come the south of Vietnam, Miền Tây country side, you should try 1 kind of coconut is "dừa dâu"
Isnt balut filipino food?
Not looking at the balut is the key! ☝️
Ouuu bro. THAT’S EXOTIC af. A HALFIEEE??? Bro. Duuude.
She looks a little bit like Vanessa Carlton.
What's the half that is not Vietnamese?
French Canadian/ native background is my biological mother!
I lived more than a decade in Manila, however, I could not enjoy this what so called chicken ballut.
Hilarious....balut...no thank you
Eating Asian food is like fear factor 😂😂😂
Nah, its SE asian food in general

You must be new to the channel…welcome
There you have it, he is dating Chau! 🎉
Spitter I see.
LOL. She is stunt
These kind of girls or guys, ughh
Why did her parents keep her so Sheltered?
ruclips.net/video/aozYao0SYE4/видео.html
What you mean with sheltered?
Sam isn't sheltered. She just wasn't as much exposed to her vietnamese heritage. Go watch the multi part series Kyle linked. It explains everything.
