*It was leeches and canker worms - not maggots lol!* In summary if we are the ones who are being weighed down by other people who are believing they’re doing things for the kingdom or for His Will and are constantly leeching off of us as a resource we need to be prayerful of what we should be saying yes to - and on the other end, if we are that person who is wanting to do all these kingdom works “in His name” but God didn’t even tell us to do those things we need to be prayerful about what He’s assigned us to do and what He’s actually in because that can be dangerous to be doing things “in His name.” 💕

Hi! What if it’s my parents? :) who are also my pastors in my small church. So basically, we have family devotion every day. And have a lot of church events. That it makes me feel like I don’t have a time PERSONALLY for God. I have been nudged about my personal time for Him and His Sabbath from a friend several times but I didn’t mind it. Until, recently I visited Jerusalem again. And realized the importance of keeping His rest. Now, I personally want to observe His Shabbat on Fridays and do no work- even in my family ministry (since, sometimes I feel like I’m relying more on my family and parent’s work and salvation more than my own relationship with God it scared me) how do I convey it to them? I’m scared they won’t understand.
This definitely resonated with me. He keeps telling me to let go of "what I am good at" and focus on what I'm anointed in.
I’m going through the same thing.
I have a saying which is subtle yet captures what you are saying in this segment I think:
“Are You doing Gods will for you, or are you doing your will for God for you?”

This was great! I used to suffer from extreme fatigue. It can cause sadness & depression. I cried out to God to please heal me. As for me I started seeing an (Upper Cervical )Chiropractor, exercising, intermittent fasting, & keto. No carbs, no sugar, & no sugar free energy drinks which contains sucralose. Sarah, I had a VERY similar dream/s and God has said the exact thing to me: to say NO and to set boundaries because I’m too accommodating and it costs me so much time that I could have spent resting with the Lord. Thanks so much for sharing. 🌸

I feel very strongly about this topic! I remember reading a book by Charles Dickens in which a character was spending so much time serving in the church but totally neglected their family. This convicted me to make my family my ministry while my children were young! I've never been sorry I made that choice! I believe it's important to set boundaries and ask God what capacity He desires us to serve as even that which seems like an honorable deed or commitment may not always be from Him!
What was the name of that book by Dickens?
Last year, I had a mental breakdown because my body was so tired of carrying my problems and other people's problems on my back. I had to stop almost everything last year to recover, and listening to this it reminded me that maybe I went back into things very quickly that I neglected putting up my boundaries especially when it comes to kingdom things. There can be days where being in church leadership feels so overwhelming, thank you for this message.
this is probably a word for me. I keep getting ideas for the kingdom or kingdom businesses and I've even questioned like is this really what I'm supposed to be doing. Like the ideas seem great, but it's not really serving how God probably wants me to in this season. Also reminds me of a phrase I heard once: "Is it a good idea or a God idea?"

I have sometimes been feeling very anxious and short sighted and so I forget to put things in God's will and ask him if I'm on the right path.
Also I struggled with adrenal fatigue badly last year and have since gotten much better. I wanted to share a few thoughts, I am not sure they will resonate with you so I'm only sharing in case they help at all. Something I learned and followed that helped was to reduce caffeine as much as possible as it does drain the adrenals, to have caffeine earlier in the day and not after 3 pm and to not eat stimulating things like green powders later in the day as these can affect a good night sleep and sleep is crucial for recovering from adrenal fatigue, also to exercise earlier in the day since exercise stimulates the body and again can interfere with a good night sleep if done later in the day. And then to avoid all screens an hour or two before bed and not read or hear anything stimulating before bedtime. Thank you for sharing your tips as well in this video :)

I felt a bit exhausted, and I came to the conclusion that, where HE'll send me, His Grace will be with me

Recently I have been tired of too much “workload” for the kingdom & even pointing out to God “why does it always have to be me, Lord?”…. Well, I guess this is a direct answer that I’ve been tired because i’m taking everything even the things he didn’t tell me what to do.

I feel lost. What I do for work feels right, to me, and I do feel God called me to do this. However, I also feel he's telling me I need to pursue more, almost as if he's saying he's not done with my potential and what I"m capable of doing. I don't know what that is, though. I am having trouble with what he wants me to pursue next.
Wow two words by both you and Adam that I watched today that has really blessed me and I feel like God directly spoke to me about this too. I’ve been working and doing things for people and me church and mostly for free, with the expense of my time and energy. Those things most people don’t really care to consider in my life but they make me or ask me to do it cause they know I know how to do it and do it well and now I’m learning sometimes it’s cause they know others are not reliable and are not willing to take on that task. I need to rest also and also really learn to discern what things God will truly bless or if people are just putting Gods name into something to bribe someone who’ll do it. Lol hopefully what I said makes sense but I get a lot that “God will bless you” every time I do something even when I don’t feel like doing it but I’m doing the work of God. I’ve felt taken advantage of and sometimes I feel like God allowed it cause that’s how he views me.
It’s learning that God is a God of order and purpose and he won’t put someone through something like that in exchange for a blessing. God won’t say yes to everything and I hope Christians will stop saying you’re doing the work of God without asking God for confirmation that he wants that work to be done.
Many impressionable Christians fall victim to that and sometimes feel hurt and I feel that way too

I’ve been feeling ambiguous about my process in preparing for the LSAT to apply to law school. On the one hand, I feel I’ve been given an opportunity and many people want me to do it-yet, being an education and English literature major--deep down what I really want to do is be a teacher and I’ve known this since elementary school. The problem is, how do I know what is best for me when those that want the best for me encourage me to “aim higher” and that teaching is not “worth it” I definitely need a message from the lord. I’m at a crossroads
You don’t need a prophetic word!
You need the word of God.
The word is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path.
In reading the word of God, the Bible, you will find the revelation and illumination for your next step.
God will always confirm his word and the most important thing is intimacy with Jesus.
You can’t go wrong.
He may even give you a dream so pay attention to your dreams and always write them down.

And it takes humility to be obedient and walk often where we don’t want to go and do what we don’t want to do.
Butrest seems to be a key theme for this year and I do believe that you are setting an example for so many people and even doing this video took your time and I want to say thank you for sharing with us from your heart and bringing what I believe is a prophetic message to the body of Christ at this time.
I too, I’m going through a soul-searching season to find my place in the body and know what the father is asking me to do, and not do!
Though I find it very easy to say no to people, it’s still hard to pull back when you are doing kingdom work. But there are times that we need rest and God rested on the seventh day.
Sabbath is really important.
And it’s clear how the Lord spoke to you through a dream as he said he would do in the latter days at the end times.

I also recall Matthew chapter 11 but I’m not sure which verse about the yoke of Jesus being light and easy.
Rest up, Sarah, and get your strength back because you will need it in the days to come.

Thanks Sarah, I read an article recently and it was a woman who was relating the advice of her mother who was a midwife, after she had given birth her mother came to visit and during the visit advices her not the be an expert of baby. Meaning that allow others to do things differently from the way you would do them because once you feel like an expert In something you tend to want to do it and others around you feel inadequate so it ends up being a burden to you. This really ministered to me as a perfectionist and in ministry when you tend to be an expert you do get overlaoded. At times maybe you can recommend someone else to do it, even if they are not as good or are still learning.

Doesn't Colossians 3:17 tell us to do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus though?
Yes forsure - but people also do things in His name that He never called them to do, like for example someone running a ministry or church and they’re so caught up in the performance of it all that God is not even apart of the decisions or even the focus of the ministry - like it says in the scripture about doing things in His name but He didn’t know them personally :)
God also wants you to thrive and enjoy your life. Love your content but you seem to be obsessed to the point that you don't seem well anymore. Peace and love, you're allowed to be human and make mistakes. Love with god is intuitive and personal
God is great, but isn't the answer to everything. Know yourself and you will know him better
There are no modern prophets today christ has finished that on the cross do not be deceived by this message. This is not true christianity. Focus on the biblical word and christ alone. Do not be fooled by vids like this.
