Great job and thanks so much, Matt and Andrea. Sorry for the lump to the head !! It's been perfect for soccer games and camping with kids and see you on the road ! By the way, everyone at General was great !
For those with negative comments regarding class B’s. I’ve had my class B for some time and my wife and I love it. We go where ever we want and park where ever we want for the night. No one notices and no one says anything...You can’t do that in a C or A class. It’s all about the versatility. It’s only in North America where they are not widely popular. Through out Europe, class B’s are the preferred way to travel. This model is the most common layout for most euro manufacturers. A lounge and dinette should be completely separate from a sleeping area. This layout is very hard to find in a class B manufactured in North America. Yes, the wet bath is small but functional. I would never give up a larger bed, storage and more comfortable lounge for a larger shower and toilet I use for no more that 10 minutes per day. Thor has nailed it with this model.
The thule “thing” is a magnet that locks a ladder to the side of the van When you want to Climb the roof. The layout is European. We have these vans a lot hete. Since Thor bought the Hymer group the European lay-outs will come in these small vans.
Can’t see the nose of the van- exactly like the old VW Bus was!!! I’m old enough to remember what it was like to drive in one. The pop top is reminiscent as well. Love this model!!
I think this is what is all about RVIng, function and design. Is not about tugging along an aircraft carrier is about freedom and function. Is definitely getting there.
I like it a lot I wish Thor would do a hanging bed in the back by putting more storage down below and do a euro style bed that comes down with straps from the ceiling, no mess or making your bed n still enough room to maneuver underneath that would’ve my choice , there are custom van builders doing that here and it’s awesome
You guys can tell if it’s a microwave/convection oven by looking at the top buttons on the microwave, convection will be written usually top left and microwave on top right in small print, also buttons will say preheat and convection, again usually top left buttons. You don’t preheat microwave so it’s a convection. Anyway good video as always.
I like the kitchen, the TV and the wet bath.do not like the step Andrea was talking about. They should have put in a back door screen for how much it cost. I do not like the tires
This must be a sign, Matt and Andrea I JUST ran this camper by my 11yr old niece for approval yesterday and was wishing you had a review of it! Three things I like: king bed in the back I would leave it made up, lounge area in the front looks comfy, the way it looks. sleek, easy to drive, fits into a parking spot. Three things I don´t like: The size of the refrigerator/freezer, no tv option for the bedroom, and I would want to take the bike rack off. Thank you sooo much for reviewing this! I will definitely call for your special price! #vanlife
I TOTALY LOVE THIS UNIT!!!!! The only thing I might change is a bit of a smaller bed in the back to add a few more inches for a larger bath and a full size fridge in the gally. I do think a double bed is big enough and this looks like an amazing unneeded king bed to me.
3 Likes: 1: Great-looking interior decor 2: Decent bed for a Class B 3: Nice kitchen for a Class B 3 Dislikes: 1: Very cramped wet bath 2: Ungainly bike rack on the rear 3: Ugly front-end styling
As a class B owner, I feel like there are some really nice features on this one. I like the: 1. The kitchen has a nice layout and a deep sink 2. The pop top is cool... I've wanted to let my nephews come camping with me a few times and that space would have been perfect. 3. The twin bed layout that converts to a king I dislike the: 1. promaster front-end/nose.... I wish they would change that. I hate it so much that I bought a mercedes sprinter and I always buy American LOL 2. Mid cabin bath... feels so much more open when the bath is in the rear. 3. 3rd passenger seat. I would like an option to put 2 dog crates there instead. ;)
I know people don't like how the nose goes down, but I do because I'm short and hate having to have a pillow to lift me higher so I can see over the top. I can see why an average or tall man would find it odd, but I believe they made these concessions for women.
Matt, the way to open the gas door is on the bottom aft, note the small cut out. Put your finger in and swing out. As a Westy owner I like the pop top. Thanks
I love this van. The exterior and interior colors. Also I think it's really spacious and I absolutely love how you have two benches/couches but can turn them into a huge huge bed. Looks awesome. The pop top is cool but for some silly reason I have always been a little freaked out about safety. Crash/rollover and also someone being able to cut it open and gain access. Stupid and silly though and I am fully aware of that lol ? As always, perfect video you two!! Sending love and wishes of happiness and joy ☺️💜
Good evening Matt and Andeea! Great rush review... you got it done the way you do it!!! Thank you for the review! I had a flash back from the Navy when you showed the storage under the passenger side of bed.... sail the seven seas we did!!!!!! Other than the wet room/ closet, it's a neat little class B! Thank you again!! 'Til next time... take care!
Great to see that Thor has recreated and improved the no-longer available Hymer Aktiv for the North American market. Met some of the Thor folks at the RV's Move America event in DC before they acquired Hymer. Well done!
Matt and Andrea this is a real nice class B motorhome. I like this Thor. I like the size of the bed and the fact it had a bathroom in it. It’s nice. And it has a bunk too. Real nice! It had nice space for kitchen. I don’t really have any dislikes except for the step by the front passenger side. Other than that it’s great! Oh Matt and Andrea got the key chains. Yah!! 👍
Duck Matt, Duck! Suggestion for Matt - keep focused during videoing (don’t check msgs) and learn a bit about the RV so you are not trying to figure things out. Keep up the great work you two!
This Promaster is just like all the rest no matter what year. Brake has always been on the left. You open the gas door from the lower right notch (hinge is on left). That's what that small notch is on the door.
You have to be careful, when entering on the driver's side, if you forget to close the gas access door and you catch your coat on it, it will break in two. Been there...Done that on a my previous RAM class B.
Thank you, Matt from still listing trailer hitch weights. I tow my fishing boat to the lake on weekends. one thing I don't like is the siding screen, with kids in and out you spend more time cleaning out the tracks than relaxing. and one kid always gets ahead of themselves and in a rush to get outruns in to it knocking it of the tracks .
It competes against the Winnebago Travato G but has the pop top option. 1) like the pop top option 2) front dinette 3) the bed set up is good design. Don’t like 1) that the beds are too short for twins, 2) the Promaster 3) what about lithium?
Oh Man !! That bike rack would have got me too!! Way to power through like a pro!! Class B’s are perfect for singles, may small couples. Not full size folks like me.
It's not for me, too tiny. I like the ease of driving, but could not deal with a wet bath. I like the kitchen counter, there is a lot of space there. Driving seats look comfy. Great review Matt and Andrea. Thanks to Mr. Kaplan for sharing!
I like the kitchen, more features than the Solis, and the tv. I don't like the tinny fridge, wet bath, and the wardrobe taking up bathroom space. This is WAY WAY WAY WAY better than the Solis. Winnebago, watch out.
Thank you Matt & Andrea for reviewing this Class B RV. Did you guys do a Winnebago Travato 59G or Winnebago Travato 59GL From the get go, I like …. 1 - the sliding screen door. 2- bed in the back plus the pop up top 3 - kitchen plus the dinette table for 4 Dislikes .... 1 - cassette toilet 2 - not much storage under the bed in the cabinets 3 - i did not see a hanging closet for clothes
Wow, that generator is in the perfect spot to get hit by something passing under the vehicle. I'll bet that it wouldn't take very long to get all beaten up and become nonfunctional.
Can you get the pop top on the Thor Sequence 20K or Thor Tellaro 20KT? The layout of the 20K and 20KT with the rear bath and front living sofa bed is ideal for me because it seems like it'd be the most open (line of sight wise) making it feel more spacious, but I'd also want the pop top.
Likes: 1. cassette toilet - so easy to handle waste 2. pop top! we travel with our pets and bikes/tri gear. we can keep our expensive gear inside and sleep "upstairs at events. 3. overall interior design - colors, cabinets, layout, it all really works. 4. Price. It is reasonable in the class B market. Dislikes: Not all electric - this is directly related to the price but would like to see an all-electric option. 2. Lack of side cameras. 3. Generator placement - would definitely need to get this van "lifted' which drives up after-market price.
Matt, You mention the lack hood and not being able to see the front of the vehicle every time you review a Doidge. But in almost every Class A RV you can never see the front of the vehicle. Also drive a city or highway passenger bus, can never see the front of the vehicle from inside. So I think this is just getting used to driving a different vehicle. Also you could put tall marker rods on the front corners of the Dodge.
I'm still hoping to see you review the Sequence 20K. Sadly I can't afford to buy one just so that you have one to review. 🤣 It looks like a great couples model, and even better for solo.
That was a good R.V., sorry you hit your head Matt. They need to make the bike rack higher, so that doesn’t happen. I liked it, but I kept thinking, they should put slide outs, and an electric bed that comes down over the driver’s seat, on class Bs, too. Then the bathroom could be bigger in the back, with more storage, and a dinette, too.
That pop top might be easy if you’re 6’2”!😂. Some sort of power lift might be helpful. This might be the best floor plan on a class B. I don’t like the Fiat chassis. It would be better if it were on a Ford or Mercedes chassis!
Matt, I just started watching your videos a few days ago, I think you and Andrea are great people. Wonderful videos and Matt, your genuineness shines through. I agree with you about Class B’s, I don’t LOVE them. If the prices went down MUCH more I’d probably like them better. This is a nice Van, I’m just not a “Van life” person. Great size for a single person and one or two fur babies love the pop up love, the twin beds and the storage is superb.. Three things I didn't like was looking out the front, not being able to see the hood and I'm only 5ft LOL the refrigerator because I tend to buy my fur babies lots of treats and I keep them in the freezer plus I need room for ice cream LOL and the shower. I couldn't tell if the toilet bowl with removable because if it's removable then the shower would be okay...
I currently have a larger Thor Gemini B+. Previously I had a Roadtrek Zion, which was laid out, like this one, with the twin beds in the back. I REALLY miss not being able to haul things in the back of my RV (furniture, lumber, groceries, kayaks, etc). I'm seriously considering "down sizing" from my B+ back to this B layout... to give me that (MUCH NEEDED) cargo carrying capability AGAIN. 100721 I'm no longer considering buying the Tellaro you just displayed. The 3 things I like about this motorhome: 1. the cabinetry 2.the kitchen, especially the microwave placement 3. the parking brake on the left hand side of the driver's seat The 3 things I don't like about this motorhome: 1. the step up into the cab 2. the need of some sort of step to stand on to raise the pop-up for the vertically challenged 3. the bike rack on the rear is too low
I like the front end because my father had a bus and its easier to see out of the vehicle. I would rather have an outdoor shower with a pop tent above for the shower that's attached and look like its covered like the Awnings and you can manually open it and close it. I also would change the kitchen....
Great video. The sequence is awesome. The only thing I would change is the position of the tv. Other than that, it’s the perfect class B for my family. Great job on the review
potable potable, cracks us up every time. this rv is more my style. dislikes: dodge chassis, would choose different racks, interior color. likes:size, simple basic appliances, nice storage.
Sorry to say this but you mentioned your client is coming in 15 minutes for the van. I would of taken my shoes off when entering the living area of van.
Great job and thanks so much, Matt and Andrea. Sorry for the lump to the head !! It's been perfect for soccer games and camping with kids and see you on the road !
By the way, everyone at General was great !
Mr. Kaplan, how has the generator held up? Any issues with it being damaged on the road?
@@brittanyg3429 so far none. Did add Sumo Springs which raises the clearance a bit higher.
that generator at the back axel looks like it is hours from being smashed by speed bumps or road debris.
I thought the same thing, I can just see it laying on the street behind the van. It’s ruined, wife angry, me pisst. No thanks.
That was the first thing that went thru my mind

The VW HAD NO NOSE!!!
I had a RAM class B. The "not being able to see the nose" was a plus, to me.
If you wait one year, dodge will match transit and sprinter safety technology. Very important for seniors.
Love it
I think this is what is all about RVIng, function and design. Is not about tugging along an aircraft carrier is about freedom and function. Is definitely getting there.

One Roadtrek model has that hanging, drop down bed in the back. Would be nice, in addition, to the current twin beds in the back.

The magnetized bar on the back door is for mounting the telescoping ladder to get up to the roof. It's just an awesome feature!
I like the kitchen, the TV and the wet bath.do not like the step Andrea was talking about. They should have put in a back door screen for how much it cost. I do not like the tires
Love that you’re doing more class b’s!,
Thanks for taking the time. Apriciate thurough view ! Hello from Colorado
The Thule attached to the back door is a magnet for the telescopic ladder stored above the cab.
That bar inside the back door is a strong magnetic ladder mount for the telescoping exterior ladder. A very clever versatile system!

lol just purchased this and installed a 32 in tv in the back before I pick it up!
When I saw the bicycle rack, I knew it gonna hit Matt's.
OUCH!
They told us at the dealership the bike rack was known as the Widow Maker.
@@lawrenceotoole4442 100 points for their marketing method.

Matt, Ram is its own brand now. It’s not considered a Dodge anymore. Not since 2010. How’s the noggin by the way?
Matt and Andrea this is a real nice class B motorhome. I like this Thor. I like the size of the bed and the fact it had a bathroom in it. It’s nice. And it has a bunk too. Real nice! It had nice space for kitchen. I don’t really have any dislikes except for the step by the front passenger side. Other than that it’s great! Oh Matt and Andrea got the key chains. Yah!! 👍
I think Andrea is the best accessory for any van. Great review, thanks from Portugal.
Matt love's every tire. Andrea beat me to it.
Duck Matt, Duck!
Suggestion for Matt - keep focused during videoing (don’t check msgs) and learn a bit about the RV so you are not trying to figure things out.
Keep up the great work you two!
He was looking for Donald or Daffy!!!
Nice class b. I would always worry that rain, dirt and snow would cause the generator to fail prematurely. Love the seating and sleeping for 4
That's quite a sleek motorhome, love the ambiance & color, and the pop-up rendezvous with nature, also the use of every space 😉 ping!
The 20K is a much more versatile floor plan in my opinion. Hope you do a future video on that model.

The thinger on the back inside door is a ladder holder. I think you move it to the outside to use it.
Matt, I really like this for a class B. Praying for you and family.
Thanks so much Harold :)
You are the only team I feel are honest about the products. Love your dislikes vs likes. Many times I agree.
Thank you, Matt from still listing trailer hitch weights. It needs some KO2's, 4wd, & a 7.3 diesel engine, then it's a contender.😍
And it needs to literally FLY!!!
Oh Man !! That bike rack would have got me too!! Way to power through like a pro!! Class B’s are perfect for singles, may small couples. Not full size folks like me.
I’d be willing to lose some of that cabinet space for more maneuvering room in the bathroom
I agree! Even 6 inches more would be a huge difference!!
That tiny bathroom is a deal breaker! Going with the Solis 59px even though it doesn’t have a microwave, tv or awning.
It's not for me, too tiny. I like the ease of driving, but could not deal with a wet bath. I like the kitchen counter, there is a lot of space there. Driving seats look comfy. Great review Matt and Andrea. Thanks to Mr. Kaplan for sharing!
I’d like to see 2) twin size long Murphy beds with. Sofa below, and tv in back
I like the now you can sleep more than 2 people in this van.
Did you guys do a Winnebago Travato 59G or Winnebago Travato 59GL
From the get go, I like ….
1 - the sliding screen door.
2- bed in the back plus the pop up top
3 - kitchen plus the dinette table for 4
Dislikes ....
1 - cassette toilet
2 - not much storage under the bed in the cabinets
3 - i did not see a hanging closet for clothes
Is that a 59 footer?
Wow, that generator is in the perfect spot to get hit by something passing under the vehicle. I'll bet that it wouldn't take very long to get all beaten up and become nonfunctional.
How efficient are these pop-up top vans to cool and/or heat? Seems a little dubious with that tent portion.
hey guys, got my Matt and Andrea key chain today....yeaaaahhhh
It’s a magnetic mount for the ladder
Can you get the pop top on the Thor Sequence 20K or Thor Tellaro 20KT? The layout of the 20K and 20KT with the rear bath and front living sofa bed is ideal for me because it seems like it'd be the most open (line of sight wise) making it feel more spacious, but I'd also want the pop top.
Likes: Cabinetry, overall decor, privacy shades. Dislikes: generator location, cheap fabric on the bed cushions, cassette toilet.
Likes: 1. cassette toilet - so easy to handle waste 2. pop top! we travel with our pets and bikes/tri gear. we can keep our expensive gear inside and sleep "upstairs at events. 3. overall interior design - colors, cabinets, layout, it all really works. 4. Dislikes: Not all electric - this is directly related to the price but would like to see an all-electric option. 2. Lack of side cameras. 3. Generator placement - would definitely need to get this van "lifted' which drives up after-market price.
Usually I think "Class B.....Ew". This one is better than most.
Matt, You mention the lack hood and not being able to see the front of the vehicle every time you review a Doidge. But in almost every Class A RV you can never see the front of the vehicle. "Matt....what's up on the roof...?" BANG!!!!!!!!! Owwwww....my head. I must rub it! Hahahahahaha!!!! LMMFAO!!!!!!!!!
That pop top might be easy if you’re 6’2”!😂. Some sort of power lift might be helpful. This might be the best floor plan on a class B. I don’t like the Fiat chassis. It would be better if it were on a Ford or Mercedes chassis!
After the Aktiv 2.0 stopped in production, I had no hope in seeing something like this again. Whoa.
Stop bashing the front end, I like it! ☺️
No literally someone smashed into it 😂
Matt, I just started watching your videos a few days ago, I think you and Andrea are great people. Wonderful videos and Matt, your genuineness shines through. Matt and Andrea, I liked the Mercedes Sprinter better or the Ford 350 Transit Van's with the bath in the rear. And all solar equiped.
WHEN HE HIT HIS HEAD MY DAD CALLED IT when we were buying a rv class b he did the same thing
I’m not laughing at you I’m laughing with you. Blooper reel material
I love how Andrea is “taking the lead”! 😀
Loving the functionality of everything on this one. I could live without the pop up. But everything else is is win!!
Looking forward to more class b review with you guys )
Thanks for watching Jody 👍
I want to thank you for sharing this with me. I hope you’re okay and I also shared it. I was on RUclips when EE CC travel bought motorhome from you. And I also follow you.
Love bike rack to the noggen, front seats that swivel, and back seat, don’t like propane generators, like the bed
I wish there was seat belt in the back where the passanger can spread out and confy
Solis with the sofa option in the back has seat belts. I’m cross shopping
Hello, I love the cabinets, kitchen is great, and I love the pop up!! I don't like the bathroom, the step. Great review Matt and Andrea!!👍👍❤❤
Thanks so much 👍 👍 😊
The 3 things I like about this motorhome:
1. the cabinetry
2.the kitchen, especially the microwave placement
3. the parking brake on the left hand side of the driver's seat
The 3 things I don't like about this motorhome:
1. the step up into the cab
2. the need of some sort of step to stand on to raise the pop-up for the vertically challenged
3. the bike rack on the rear is too low
Love it. Just started looking at these types of vans. May have to call you for a quote. Thank you.
I am loving this motorhome..!
The bar on the back door is the magnetic stabilizer for the roof ladder.
How much better miles per gallon do the vans get vs class c or a
Likes: kitchen, twin beds and loft, tankless hot water, love pop up.
Dislikes: bathroom, didn’t see shades for the cab area.
My wife would love this class b.
Andrea is back. Yeay.
Lol I never left this channel only the towables channel
Looks great. Not sure as to specs as yet but would of loved to see awning and more details as to how loud generator was along with battery life etc
Lmao . That had to hurt 😞 .
Been there , done that .
Headbanger! LOL! Hope you're okay. Thanks for sharing. :-)
WoW that was a close one.
13:24 That was awesome!!! I do really enjoyed the way you guys sharing this. I wish I could get one but I need to find a job first.
Excellent interior colors!
potable potable, cracks us up every time. this rv is more my style. dislikes: dodge chassis, would choose different racks, interior color. likes:size, simple basic appliances, nice storage.
I'm not big on this chassis, I need to see the front. I want a double bed fixed. I probably wouldn't be able to pop that top anyway.
Got on to get you a thumbs up, but I agree with you about class b’s! Something about pooping in your shower... just kidding! Have a great week!
Sun behind you makes the video dark Matt. Great jobs as always
The thing on the back door is for the ladder I believe
I like this type of cabinets but that’s too much money. I would rather have a class c
Andrea love your outfit.
Thor needs to reimagine the pre 2022 winnebago travato 59g. 2021 floorplan or older with the front bed and bigger bathroom.
Sorry to say this but you mentioned your client is coming in 15 minutes for the van. I would of taken my shoes off when entering the living area of van.
