I don’t see the point in buying at least $5 in extra supplies to diy a lid. You could just buy a glass jar that already has a lid at dollar tree and use that like I did. I guess people are really jonesing to do diys.

Most Dollar Tree crafters have these basic items in their stash already, so it's cost effective in that case. If you are starting out crafting, there is always an initial investment😀
