take it easy man, i don't know your autocad version, but after autocad 2015/2016 you can join lines to polylines without any problem! Maybe you just have to work a little harder on autocad Mr Know nothing
Thanks to those that replied. I have used auto as on and off for many years and have not come across a simple way to join all those lines. I am familiar with the PEDIT command but seem like I’m the tutorial there was a simple one step command that did the same. Just curious.
I really don't get the point of this video, your revit tutorials are amazing, I always learn something new. Here you're just drawing something simple in a very basic way.

At 4:50 what command did you use to convert lines to poly lines in one go?
just select all the lines and hit "join"
