  • Fitting the windscreen frame to this TR6 was an absolute headache. Turns out the scuttle was out of shape.
Meanwhile I started retrimming some of the interior panels with a thicker foam than original and the results were fantastic

Never say never mate…remember you are carrying your own load. The weight you feel are the rocks of perfection you placed in your pack. I know you will finish this project, take a break and go again. No musician puts down a guitar or closes a pianos lid and walks away for good. The car looks fantastic and whoever buys it in the end will have a fully restored classic, with video evidence. Your legacy will be on the road for many many years to come. She is testament to your professionalism!

Thanks mate. Powerful motivational words there. What you are seeing are the negative traits of a perfectionist. Anyway, the screen frame is now done, so I can now press ahead to the finishing line

Hello Johnny You are inspiring other with all your videos.
Best of all ,you find ways to fix things yourself save money and have pride in your skill. I really appreciate you making all the effort.
You have a car you can take out for a spin or to a Triumph meet and know you did it all on your own.

It takes a lot to do what you have done and are doing on this car, you need so much in your armour, and you have it all, i can understand the frustration the windscreen has caused you, this car will be one to have, it now has a personality as well
Its looking really fantastic, take a breather and you will be entering the finishing line
    All good!!!!!!

You and I both know it wouldnt be any fun if there wasnt a bit of stress involved😆. As much as I get despondent at times, the satisfaction of overcoming the challenges I'm faced with is a great reward.

Thanks Ralph. For the time being I'm going to keep whats on there, but budget permitting I may put a stainless steel sports exhaust.
