Black Mesa is so good. Couldn't have asked for a better remake.
Black Mesa 100% upped the intensity and fear factor of gargantuan chases.
3:14 the way it came right at you it kinda scary
It happened to me once. Didn't expect that at all. I was cowering behind the map trying not to perk up into his sightline and save the last sliver of health. Then I decided to lainch an MP5 grenade as something to do before completely surrendering.. and it killed him.
Guess the airstrike didn't hit him well enough
@@Scarletdex8299 i mean imagine you are up on that and just thought ha this things ain't getting up just to see it slowly getting up to you
black mesa: your car 🥱
half-life: turboflex car 😎
Badass transition to Forget About Freeman
Black Mesa Golem Ape
Reference to HLVRAI🤨
In half life 1, if you throw 10 grenades at the gargantuan while taking cover behind the wall you can kill it avoiding the entire chase sequence.
1. Gargantian bend a massive steel door.
2. Lets escape on top of an water tank tower.
So scary. There is a screams in On a rail.
Honestly, I think the Gargantua encounters in Half-Life 1 are a lot scarier and better than in Black Mesa. In Half-Life 1, Their roars are far more intimidating, their stomps sound and feel heavier, and they seem to be a bit faster. Black Mesa's Gargantua roars are just kinda okay, the stomps aren't as heavy, and they seem to be just a tiny bit slow.
While I like Black Mesa (and used to love it), Half-Life handled the Gargantua in a much more impactful way, in my opinion.
This will be Half Life in 2012
Whenever I encounter gargantura in games, I scream & get scared when I was 8 - 13 years old kid playing half life
why were you playing with the software renderer in half life lol
That's supposed to be on OpenGL with the texture filtering disabled.
