Thanks for this both detailed and down-to-earth review. I've just ordered one with virtually identical spec. but in Chronos Grey. Like you, I was impressed with both performance (30 TFSI) and handling on my test drive. 😀

Nice review! The front grill in gloss black (painted) looks way better. The previous models had bare matt plastic which bleached quite quickly in the sun.

Great review. I'm use to a car with a 1.5 engine, do you think that if I dropped down to a 30 tfsi I would notice the different massively? I do quite a bit of driving on 60 and 70 mph roads for work? Thank you !

Not really, maybe on launches but driving at decent speeds through the gears it will be a little slower due to engine capacity but nothing to write home about. It sounds awesome too - Best bet test drive one, I enjoyed it and I drive a lot of cars, and at no point did it feel overwhelming slow, it’s rather fun 😀 keep me posted Beth, and thank you

Does the sonos sound system come as standard or is this another extra u have to pay for. On the A3 s line u have to pay 1500 for a better sound when all I wanted was reverse camera but it just comes as a set

Thank you Daniel, both are impressive, but I’d go for the Fabia, bigger engine and it’s that bit different, however I do love the handling on the A1 and of course the colour. Hope this helps
