I was a District Mgr for AutoZone. I had a great East Indian Mgr in a 90% black community. Everything was great until he denied a scammer a refund. The scammer proceeded to beat the Mgr with antifreeze jugs. We moved the East Indian Mgr to a store that was 80% hispanic and he ended up being Manager of the Year.
Did you press charges on the scammer for assault and trespass him from all AutoZones forever?

This is happening all over, just a week ago I had a huge black guy verbally assault me in Walmart while I was shopping for pet supplies. People are getting so rude and crazy.

I worked with a man with several college degrees in various fields, none of which were helpful in finding him a decent career, so he wasn’t a psychologist or a sociologist, he was a truck driver, and said so. Be honest, you are what you actually do.
Truck driver is a good career.
You can make a ton more money driving for UPS rather than wasting your best years getting brainwashed to acquire some college degrees. And if the school can't even teach you to act as a mature person, you should claim your money back.

I drove OTR for years, CDL drivers come from all kinds of different backgrounds, I ran into a lot of drivers some semi-retired with college degrees that ended up driving as a late in life career.

Yeah, I was in a similar situation. I work at a BETTER parts store. 😂 But anyway, as soon as dude started acting up, I told him to get the hell out of my store and not to come back. He walked out and almost came back in but one of my customers, hes about 5'3", pulled a Glock on him and told him he'd better listen. Obviously he got the hell outta there. 😂
I have worked retail. While the employees are 'handcuffed' regarding how they are allowed to deal with situations, customers are not. In a large home improvement store, two very large 50-plus contractors with a little time to kill stopped four thieves in an hour. Gotta love blue collar dudes.

I'm going to play devil's advocate, but even if he is a microbiologist. That doesn't give you the right to ruin the day of those around you or belittle those who don't work a prestigious job as you or make as much money as you. Every retail job requires its employees to suck it up for the sake of the customer. Any other professional should at least be able to be civil when dealing with others.

I started working at a Firestone Auto care center when I was 43, I was already financially free from age 38 but wanted to work a few more years after taking a few years off. Customers would always look down on me because I worked there and would call us "grease monkeys" even though they had no idea how to fix their own car or even change a spare tire. And they had no idea about my financial and educational status. The worst were female nurses! Sorry ladies, the male nurses were always cool. I've lost count of how many times I heard something like this: "I need to get in right away because I'm a nurse, did you hear me? I'm a nurse!" How did we ever let nurses come to think they are SO important? We had lots of customers who were doctors and they never said anything like that. They would just say, "ok, I'll pick it up in a couple of days".
Seems like the last thing one would want to do is insult the people fixing your vehicle. I've always lived by the motto of never pissing off the chef before getting your food.
The company he works for should think about the dangers of having someone, who can't handle his emotions, and can become violent with others working with viruses in a lab.

I went to a movie/game store with my brother once and there was this guy making a scene just like this guy. Talking about "I got my restaurant make my own money" and the poor manager was trying to calm him down with this guy yelling at him.

Being retired from the military and civil service I decided to seek something to do on a part time basis. Ended up at AZ as delivery driver but I also was required to work the counter and although the majority of our customers were normal (all colors) I had one rule. If their underwear was on display because their pants were sagging I refused to help them. Now they didn't go unattended because the managers knew my rule (btw I was an excellent employee, I always showed up), I just figured if they didn't know how to wear pants they didn't need to work on a vehicle that would travel on the roadway. I maybe racist but whats odd is all the saggers were black and why they believe they're making a fashion statement is beyond me but in my short seven years I refused service to a few.
Why is it anyone that was in the military feels the need to say that in every comment they leave no matter how unrelated.

My husband is a microbiologist and they do all the testing in hospitals, work with diseases, and newborn babies.😊But they can do other things too like in pharmaceuticals and all sorts of healthcare.
