your using it wrong
You’re just using it wrong. The only thing you can do is press the melee button with a chainsaw instead of using it in general. It only works when you don’t have throwing knife equipped.
my guy is the biggest skill issue
Way to hang in there in the first gameplay.
Merk was using the aftermarket chainsaw wrong, you gotta hit the melee button for it to instantly kill (u can’t have the throwing knife when doing this) and you swing it so fast too meaning no one will react fast enough, I know this because Tmal used it and he used it “properly” by swinging it like a madman and only holding down the fire button with it when challenging a riot shielder that approaches him head on
(So on merk’s part it wasn’t fully his fault and was the attatchments fault but at the same time it kinda was ngl cuz he didn’t do testing with hitting the melee button further without having the throwing knife)

@@callofdookie1253 Because bayonets had lunge. The one thing Cod stop having since MW2019. The only recent games that had lunge is Cold War!

It gives you an instant melee kill, you just had the throwing knife equip which over rides the melee animations

so can we now let him know that if he didn't put throwing knifes he could use the normal melee button with the weapon having the chainsaw equipped and it can make it a 1 hit kill without needing to switch to the chainsaw?

try using without the throwing knife without necessarily using the attachment, it just hits, which is like using a chainsaw without using it at the same time, making a hitkill

For those curious, the next week Aftermarket part is a double barrel attachment for the holger. Similar to the one of the AMR 9.
Mr music, you can bash without having to be in alt fire mode, this lets you slash and lung to your opponents and kill em in one swing. pretty epic if you accidently bump into an enemy at chainsawing distance. NOTE the bash is disabled when using throwing knifes

honestly just go back to the supply drop days yes they were mostly op but at least they were things to work towards that were useable

Tbf in this vid he isn't use the saw to it's best potential due to the throwing knifes overriding it's base melee swing which one shots. The actual revving is meant moreso for riot shields

I don't think it's that hypocritical. One is a cod that mashes everything together, the other is the 3rd entry into the mw trilogy reboot.... same series as mw19 yet it looks nothing like mw19's style of cod

You’re using it wrong my guy. The revved up mode is best for taking out riot shield users. But you can swipe it like a normal melee weapon & get 1 hit kills without revving it up.
Honestly when i saw the chainsaw i knew it was gonna suck on multiplayer which the video proved my point lol zombies though its actually really good since i no longer have to worry about running out of ammo or reloading my gun so its at least useful there

Btw, you had throwing knives on your class so you melee with those knives. If you take them off, you'll swipe with your chainsaw attachment like a knife. It goes through riot shields too

Tbh i rather the AMPs be underpowered at launch. They feel like a new form of weapon varients from AW and IW but it feels like a much safer appoache to make them a little weak so they dont feel required to use to win.

lmaoooo so turns out in order to use this properly you have to fly to the pyramids in Egypt & summon Cleopatra by pressing up up triangle down L2 R2 square. Then you can finally get the 1 melee insta kills DUH ERIK EVEN MELVIN COULDVE TOLD YOU, HOW DID YOU NOT KNOW THAT & EQUIP THROWING KNIVES, clearly a skill issue
