I’ve been reading this since day one. It is fantastic and I am so glad they finally reached the Pilaf arc and part of me is wishing to see Gine adopt Krillin.
He might have lived with gine around too, meaning goku goes from living alone at the start of the series to having gohan and gine. Quite the change already
To be fair, having a woman around even after the head bump would have reinforced his behavior around women and men, and the scene in Dragonball where he pulled off Bulma's panties would have never happened, he would have understood what marriage meant sooner and having Gine around they could have ensured Gohan didn't die from Goku turning into an Oozaru.
I honestly enjoy Gine Reboot and cannot wait for the moment Gine battles Frieza and becomes a super saiyan, which was teased at the very beginning. I am glad that there's a fan manga where Gine survived the destruction of planet Vegeta and got to raise her son on Earth, while also being influenced by the planet herself.
Could've been the reverse, but then again, I have no idea which actually came first. They could've also been unaware of one another and simply had a similar idea for a new Canon timeline.

I always liked these fan what if stories with Dragon Ball it just makes me feel good about the way just a few small changes going from giving their son one final chance to he gets to know his parents or parent while he grows up Dude Goku deserves to know his mom or dad for all he did for multiple different universes in the Dragon Ball serieses

Because 99% of them are horrible, off of this alone I already see the 1st and biggest mistake in the story, people actually think she would completely forget that she has Raditz too, why would she care about 1 son only? Do mothers and fathers only take 1 child out and leave the other who knows where? Of course not
Gine struggle with finding a reason to fight sounds interesting, especially coming from a society that has very shallow reasons for fighting I could see how fighting would seem distasteful when it for reason like boredom, fun, and sadism.
You know, I never did understand why neither Goku nor Vegeta ever thought of using the Dragon Balls to wish Planet Vegeta back into existence. Or, if the Dragon Balls are incapable of bringing back Planet Vegeta, at least wish their family back.
I always wondered since the Broly movie why we never see Vegeta or Broly’s mothers. Like why is Gine even shown if she doesn’t add much relevance to the plot but sentimental value when Bardock and her say farewell to their son. Would’ve been nice to see more of the female saiyans instead of just the men. The only female saiyans we get to see are only Kale and Califla and their fusion Kefla not including Bulla or Pan since they aren’t full blooded saiyans. Ik they all probably died on planet Vegeta so we won’t ever see them in the canon but little glimpses of planet Vegeta life would have been interesting.
If Gine went with Kakarot, they would die, The reason bardock didnt go is because frieza would find their power level (The saiyans couldnt control Ki output, and only Kami would teach goku) So they would be hunted down because of how low the power levels are on earth, she would stick out to the frieza source.

Gine was considered the weakest of Bardock's crew and was the cook. Fascha, although not particularly canon, was 2,000 (We could argue or assume Bardock was 5,000 since he was a low class Saiyan, Nappa was Mid Class at 4,000 but perhaps Bardock never wanted to be promoted and just stuck with his crew idk. Gine with a power of 300-800 is within the realm of reason given her docile nature and low class. An average Saiyan is born with a power of 5-500 An average low class Saiyan is 1,200-1,500 given the nature of Saibamen. But in conclusion, they may have been detected but with how weak Gine is, and if they left beforehand, Frieza would have been aware but not cared to chase.
I find that awesome and not dumb like I thought it was gonna be I was thinking they would do something dumb like have ssj1 gine fight and beak frieza when her PL is lower then bardocks and bardocks power level with ssj1 is still lower then base form freiza

At the very least I'd love if they'd stop teasing the hell out of us in the games and just make it happened. We got Goku and Future Gohan meeting so why can't we get Bardock with his sons already.
