My wife and I bought an alpha breeze based off your previous videos. We love it and used it a lot over the summer. We are getting the itch to go camping again soon. What kind of heater was that inside your tent? And did you leave a window open for ventilation while using it?
Hey, really happy to hear you guys are enjoying your Alpha Breeze! I'm using the Kovea Cupid Heater primarily because it's so tiny to bring and very efficient with fuel. The heater is a little on the smaller size for the Alpha Breeze, but if it's on a table next to you, it definitely helps in colder temps. Kovea sells a model called the Powersense which looks to have higher output. A buddy heater could work as well for this size tent. As for ventilation, I always leave the top two triangle vents fully open and when the heater is in use I'll crack the bottoms of my inner window panels as well to stay on the safe side. The buddy heaters have a safety shutoff for oxygen depletion, which the Kovea's lack.
Are you guys using the Alpha Breeze ground and mat sheet set? Was wondering if the interior mat helps with warmth, seems kind of bulky to carry though?
Yes, using both the ground sheet and inner mat and I think it's worth it for insulation and just overall feel. It's a bit large, but light enough to store straight across on top of all my other gear in the back of my car.
Hey, it's the Kovea Cupid Heater. It helps a little heating up the alpha breeze but really a bigger heater would be better for heating this size tent. It's great if you're keeping it on a table next to you though!
Hey, the cupid heater isn't the best for the alpha breeze, but it does warm it up in there slightly. With the heater on a table next to you, you'll stay warm but it's not enough to keep the whole tent warm.
great video sharing!
amazing campsite
Thank you!
I love the alpha breeze. Blended very well with the scenery up there. Great video ❤
Thank you! I just watched your recent upload and loved it!
@ Thanks Ryan. Always good to pick your snow peak brain from the videos. And the nwp scenery. Chef kiss :)

Is that heater good enough to keep both of you warm in the alpha breeze?
