To be honest, the best way to grind champ level xp is to do the first three games of Thresh or Kaisa. Gives out 770 xp, which I'm pretty sure is the most xp out of three games from any run.
I never paid atention, but I though all "game" gave the same amount of xp times the xp multiplier given depending on the number of stars of the adventure.
Is the amount of xp given by "game" explained anywhere?
I don't like quitting adventure's part way through so I have never bothered with this type of strat. Thank you for that info though!
I disagree.
Most champions feel very weak at low levels, and will struggle and fail after spending 20+ minutes trying to beat the first few levels of the 3 star adventures.
Most adventures get easier as you gain more and more powers and item’s.
You’ll notice this in Aurelion sol- where you might struggle to survive through the first few battles- only to breeze through the rest of the adventure as you get powers with good synergies.
@@abadyr_ Unfortunately there isn't for whatever reason.
@@Yao_Guai Hmm true, I probably should've reworded it as the most *optimal* way to get champ xp. Some champs, especially those poorly designed (*looks at Nasus*), will absolutely take way too long to get the XP.
Much needed and appreciated man! Keep up the great work and the grind! 💪💪
i asked you fpr a beginner guide and u said u will do it and here it is. BIg thanks for every guide and videos you do
This got shared around at work as a very useful guide summarizing the new player goals. Nice job. :)
Great to hear! Your game has been doing great recently, seeing lots of new people finding the game.
oh shit it's the guy
@@LukeA471Is he the games creator or smth lol? But that regardless, i love this game man i hope that i dont get burnted out from the grind lol cheers!
@@SimoneBellomonte He was the lead designer at Riot
Super helpful guide as always, keep up the great content!
Great guide for newcomers Toast! I have been playing for roughly a year and found your channel some months ago. So I just wanted to say your videos are always appreciated.
Thanks, I appreciate the support!
tbh, I cannot even beat Zed or nautilus and I have like 1 in 5 against gankplank, and I do not have any shards to level up other champions to progress further.
@@superkaj1001 It will come with time. Your strength will grow a lot. Each new boss you unlock will make the earlier ones feel easy.
i'm watching your channel every week - thanks for all the good content about the best roguelite card battler out there. i have been trying to find something between battlepasses and no other card battler seems to compare.
Great guide for both old and new players since I even learned some new stuff I didn't know about. I should add too that early on, maxing out Jinx to 3 stars and getting Lix, Yasuo, and Garen to 2 stars each and clearing their 2 stars adventures to get their rare relics from their story adventures can lead to getting 3 decent rare relics that you can use on Jinx for weekly portal adventure farming on most weeks that give good adventures. I used a 3-star Jinx with Luden's Tempest, Loose Cannon Payload, and Riptide Battery early on and still to this day and it clears most weekly portal adventures on each difficulty level well each week.
That should be mentioned as a good strategy to get set up for beginners so that they can get a Jinx farming set going since you start with Jinx unlocked and get Yasuo and Lix for free after completing a quest, and just need to pay for Garen to get the 3rd relic and grind wild fragments for them (I think you need 160 shards for this set, but since you get some wild fragments for free early on even thought I don't remember if it's near 100 or something, it's the easiest bang for your buck when you don't have a lot of resources for awhile like a month.)
As an idea too, when you do the story missions for the original 12 champions, do them when they have no stars first since you get 5 shards for them by completing their 0-star adventure and you can use it as credit to get them to 2 stars for 25 shards instead. This will save you 5 wild shards that you can apply to someone else instead. I used that trick with them to save wild fragments since after getting them to 2-stars, they are on pause until the game gives me 30 stars towards level 3 that it makes sense at that point to get them to 3-stars.
Thanks for the info! And i should probably join the discord just in case if i forget smth like this lol.
perfecta la guia y si yo empece a jugar y me fui basando en tus guias asi como recomendarlas, interesante eso de las reliquias que estan en las aventuras por cierto muy buen video 7u7
Thank you. It helped a lot!
Great guide! If you're a new player and a bit confused about the map or strategy, just select a champion and open up the Adventure Journal shown at 10:36, and play what's on that list in order. Come back to this video once more comfortable as it's amazing info
this is everything thank u
I'll go for the cute suggestion: have fun. That's why grinding can seem too taxing, as if you only focus on leveling champions as fast as possible and doing the same encounter five times in a row, the game can become somewhat boring. As for getting stars and relics and leveling champions, I found that whenever I open a new champ, playing a run or two of, say 1-star Garen (even if my character is level 1 and has 0-stars), will give me an overview of the character and then I can make a decision of whether I'll even want to star them up and play the tougher adventures. I have way too many characters on 1-star whom I don't really feel like leveling, but could have used their wild fragments on characters I like more. We all have our favourites, so I'd say not to necessarily go by the tier list, but which style of play and champion seem the most fun and interesting.
Another way to get to know other champions and their playstyle (esp. if you don't play constructed or don't own the cards there) is by choosing different supporting champions for your adventures. Quite a lot of times I have picked champions I didn't own or hadn't leveled to see what their speciality is (e.g. pick Kai'sa or Kayn or Evelynn or whomever just to see what they are about), and if I liked them, I'd try them as the main champion in another run.
Finally, if you ever get a new skin or card back, then in Path of Champs you can change and customize your loadout either in your library in the champion page, or during adventures before every encounter before you click on the 'Fight' button (there is a smaller loadout button with a symbol of a Poro face). Either I'm dumb or this took me way, way, way too long to discover - maybe both.
Thanks for the video.
I'm new in the game and your videos are very helpful. I'm not very good at the game yet and your advices are top-notch (even if I cant' really do a 2* adventures right away).
That is great to hear! Glad I can help you out :]
Pfp (Profile picture) and / or Banner Sauce (Source [Artist])? 🗿
Dunno if this has been confirmed or not but as someome who only started a year ago i have been so envious of gale force owners. I know its been nerfed now but i finally got one from the emporium today so even if it isnt in the silver reliquary pool it is at least obtainable now for people who missed it.
Something you missed, but if you already have the Monthly Challenges unlocked you can complete the Weekly Quests by playing games of the Monthly Challenges, this is currently how I complete the Weekly Quests faster.
Didn't know that was possible, considering the monthly challenges only have 1-2 battles for each of them and take about 20 minutes for each of them. Good fact to know once someone gets a decent champion collection with good levels and stars to use it, even if they can't complete all 70 of them in a month but still get a few rewards from them for every 10 completed starting in November.
I was wondering if that was possible, but couldn't test it since I already completed the monthlies. Thanks for that extra info!
Same thing also works for other things that need you to complete adventures. So the epic relic quest item works for 3star monthlies as well as the battlepass mission of completing 2.5+star adventures with the new champions.
I've been playing for a year and i didn't even know garen and darius give you those relics through their adventures, i bought both of them with star dust... *P A I N*
Was it too long ago? You can refund them if it wasn't that long ago
With this guide lets level up my *3 hero who i lazy enough to level up
Not me being legend level 23, having a lvl 30 champion, beaten asol twice, and not even realizing some rare relics I still don’t have were behind the starter adventures
I love your videos about POC, hope u make more
I don't plan on stopping :]
@@SpicyToastGaming glad to hear it 😂
Nice info, i dont know about graduate relic.
It sad i already buy 1 of them 😢
at least to me Tresh feels easier with a lot of champs than viktor(or to be specific the Azir fight) so generally I like to play Tresh or if it feels really easy Galio
My strat is getting 2k xp a day, because you need 100 wild fragments to unlock + 3-star a champ, you can get 4 a day, that's 25 days, and you need around 50k xp to hit lvl 30 and 50k/2k is also 25.
Interesting Strategy!
Its been so long I forgot how you gained legend experience lol
How do you "wait till you have champion at 2 stars"? You dont need to necessarily play it to star it up?
I read somewhere that just doing the first 3 battles of Asol the surrendering and restarting is the fastet way to farm XP. I could be wrong tho
I have heard some people say that, but I don't think that would be better than fully clearing Asol.
Off topic but I’m so mad about this last events missions being bugged, my repeatable quest was stuck at 6 out of 6 games for almost the whole event and it was only fixed with like 3 days left in the event and I was pretty busy those 3 days so I didn’t even get to finish the last and we don’t get any compensation for riot messing up the missions it’s really stupid to me.
Did you send in a ticket? I got compensated for the event issues. Still was very annoying though.
@@SpicyToastGamingI’ll have to try that
could you please do a guide for when the monthly challeges drop on nov 1st, ive never really played it so a guide would help alot, and give tips on how to use unmaxxed champions properly becuase i have a lot of one stars, maybe from a side account if you have one of those
I will have a general guide dropping before the 1st and a more detailed guide after I complete this round of monthlies. :)
How to get the Dice, please ?
How do u speed up a game, animations etc.? I can tell from your other videos that gameplay is much faster, is there any option to do it?
Sometimes it can be just a sped up video for YT. But in-game you still have a few options: when you start a PoC encounter, in some fights there is some dialogue between the opponent and your hero or the final boss (e.g. in Viktor's campaign). If you just left-click during the dialogue, it will mark it heard and you can start playing. As for turns, often the game will ask for confirmation after some skills/spells/fight order is played, or will do it itself after a second-two, but if you click on the green round button on the right, it will immediately mark the action done, and the game will continue. Not that these parts take a ton of time, but it's something to make the game slightly faster (esp. if you already know the pre-encounter dialogue).
Haha that is mostly my editing. I try to edit some stuff out to make it a better viewing experience.
Still waiting the day we can completely block those dialogues at settings.
@@parksantiago3511 That would be nice!
But how do I unlock the epic purple relics??????? I don't have any and my champions can only equip rare relics. When can I get them and equip???
You get them from golden reliquaries.
So now is impossible to duplicate and i dont need to worry about keeping everything 2 stars ?
Only gold chests and above have dupe protection. You can still get dupes.
How do you have 73 Wild fragment? For me it is stucked at 51 and i cannot earn them anymore because I reached the limit... How you did it?
I was capped at 53 but Riot gave me 20 more as compensation for all the event pass issues I had.
Real question:is Gat3breaker or Gale force available now?
Yes
Does anything bad happen when your wild fragments go above 50?
They cap out and you can't earn anymore
@@SpicyToastGaming Yet in this video, I see you have 74. And once I had 53. So there does not seem to be a cap. That's what I don't quite understand.
@abadyr_ I was capped at 54, but then riot gave me 20 as compensation for the event pass issues.
@@SpicyToastGaming ok, so 54 is the hard limit. Thank you!
@@abadyr_ not quite. 50 is the limit, but you can overflow that limit once. For example, if you are at 49 and then complete the daily, you will get 4 more fragments and then be hard capped at 53.
How do You get 74/50 wild shards?
You don't. 50 is cap, you can go above if you have below 50 and do daily or something that awards the shards, that will put you slightly over 50 and render you unable to get more shards until you go below 50 again. The reason he had 74 is that he was capped at 54 and riot gave him 20 shards as a compensation for event pass issues.
How to ge Asol in POC? because he is only unlockable through his fragments
He is the reward for monthly challenges
@@SpicyToastGaming man, those challenges is hard af
@@rithloveyou9737 I will be making several guides that will hopefully help with that. :)
So what you're saying is, don't smack your face at battles you can't fully complete. Farm the ones you can? I've been stuck a 1 star for a couple of hours and it feels like I'm missing something to start progressing. The tutorials barely tell you how to progress, they just give you quests you can't even being because at 1 star you can't do anything.
Pretty much. Also I tend to wait till I have a champ at 2* before I start playing them. 1* does feel pretty bad for most Champs.
Thanks so much for the great video!!!
I‘m one of these newbies and I love your videos, keep going and thanks mate, you‘ve already helped me so many times 🫶
