    Legends of Runeterra is a free-to-play digital collectible card game developed and published by Riot Games. It released on April 29, 2020 for Microsoft Windows, Android, and iOS. The game was released in open beta for Microsoft Windows on January 24, 2020. It uses a setting and characters which originated with League of Legends, a multiplayer online battle arena game by Riot Games. Legends of Runeterra is a turn-based card game between two opponents, using constructed decks of 40 cards. Each player begins the match with a hand of four playing cards randomly selected from their card deck, a 20-health-point Nexus, and zero mana. The objective of the game is to bring the opponent's Nexus to zero health points.

    Hey guys, as Yassin pointed out below (thanks mate! 🤘), I forgot about one more adventure that has an alternative path. The 2.5 Viktor adventure.
    The alternative path is straight to Viktor after beating Vicious Enemy. Same story, taking the shorter path will give you less XP compared to going the longer way around.

    Thank you so much! Now I will be able to level up faster. I have very low time to play LoR so this is pretty much needed. I always pick the "Red Path" cause new power, but now I will think twice

    • @AkephaLoR
      @AkephaLoR  Год назад +1

      Np bro 🤘😄! Generally speaking, a new power is always good since it's a decent powerspike, but yeah, even though the Vicious (Red) Enemies are more difficult, it doesn't affect/increase XP earned at all.

    • @elvenatheart982
      @elvenatheart982 Год назад +2

      Yeah, red path seems to be for skipping to boss if you aleeady have a strong champ/deck. If you need to grind, go to the blue. One thing to note, dependi g on your buffs, the red path can be easier because you have less enemies before finishing the map so it can help you save some ho before the boss. Again, depends on your powers and buffs.

    Since the weekly was 2 less fights and really almost the same xp, I'd say it looks to be more efficient. But really it'll come down to whichever one u can clear first.
    With the new monthly adventures, I wonder how good they will be xp wise?

    • @AkephaLoR
      @AkephaLoR  Год назад

      Yep it's definitely more efficient comparatively. As for Monthlies, I think it won't be too beneficial. The first clue is the Dev mentioning that this is endgame content. I think this automatically tells us that Monthlies adventures probably won't be good for grinding since it can also be assumed that they won't change the amount of XP given out 😅

    • @heroicskeleton1566
      @heroicskeleton1566 Год назад +1

      @AkephaLoR Right, but isn't there a bonus of some kind for actually finishing the adventure? Or bonus xp from the final boss? It looks that way cuz if you retire early on, you seem to get way less xp. I haven't fully varified this yet but would be easy to do so. If so, even if they don't adjust anything, since it's only 1 or 2 fights, it might be higher xp if there is a completion or boss bonus already

    • @AkephaLoR
      @AkephaLoR  Год назад

      @@heroicskeleton1566 tbh I'm not sure about that 😅. I never noticed if there was a bonus tbh. But what you mentioned about beating the boss garnering more XP is correct. I still think it's just the regular amount you get for beating X amount of battles. But yeah, it will definitely be better if they are able to increase the multiplier for XP earned.
      Edit: Hey mate, if you see this edit, just wanted to say you might be onto something. Shikao from another comment brought to my attention a really odd discrepancy between the two 3.5 adventures that's worth investigating.

    So i played 1 star Teemo, completed 2 star Nautilus and gained less exp than other heroes that are 2 star or more in Nautilus camaping. Is that right ?

    I'm sick and tired of doing Zed, Draven, Kai'sa grind for every champ that I need to level up. The maxed stars earned for newly unlocked is good but POC gameplay is constricted to a "certain route" that one may think is the fastest and easiest. The whole system is not perfect but it needs a slight shift in gameplay wherein it's not super grindy with the exact same routine you'd do for the rest of the champs but somewhat tilted to more I-already-maxed-most-of- my-champs-now-id-like-to-test-out-new- combi. Also, I personally don't like the RNG powerups system at high level champs, it made the odds of getting what you want the most terrible

    • @AkephaLoR
      @AkephaLoR  Год назад +1

      Haha I know what you mean on the grind. It's even more harder for me since I still have a day job that takes most of my daily schedule 😅.

    Weekly adventures is different depends on player's region?

    • @AkephaLoR
      @AkephaLoR  Год назад

      Haha well now you know! 🤘. But yeah, it's different sometimes, not everytime 😅. Like last week for example, my region (SEA) and (NA) got 3.5 Draven. EU region got 3.5 Jinx with different powers.

  • @Shikao87

    That's a good start, but I think this requires bit more in depth analysis.
    What if both vicious and non-vicious path have same number of battles? Would experience gained be still be the same?
    Do all X long adventures give the same amount of experience? Or is there a hidden based on adventure and/or battle modifiers? This could explain why weeklies gives more experience or maybe they do it just because they are weekly.

    • @AkephaLoR
      @AkephaLoR  Год назад +2

      Thank you. I'll make a addendum to this video, but to answer your questions, Vicious and Non Vicious with same numbers of battles still yield the same amount of XP.
      As for adventure length, also no. Like I described in the video, Star Difficulty is the primary/first factor. If say two adventures has 7 battles. But if Adventure A is 2 Star, while Adventure B is 3 Star. Adventure B will always yield more XP. Think of the No. of Stars as Multiplier.
      Also, Weeklies don't always give more experience. It comes down to the map structure again. If the Weekly Adventure follows the Annie map format for example, it will always yield less XP because it has less battles compared to the Zed map format for example. What makes a Weekly give "more" comes back to the star level again. If the Adventure is 3 stars on a short map. It will always give more than the same map with maybe 1 or 2 stars.
      Sorry for the wall of text btw. I just want to answer your question 😅.

    • @Shikao87
      @Shikao87 Год назад +3

      @@AkephaLoR No worries I did ask for it 😉and I hoped you would know that or could check it easily.
      Stars and battles are probably what counts the most, but I still think there is something more. Look at the two examples you provided.
      Annie's adventure - 1 battle difference = 125 xp
      Gallo vs weekly 3.5 star - 2 battles difference = 85 xp
      If only stars and battles count, the xp gap should be bigger in second case than in first.

      @@Shikao87 hmm, you're right. I must say, I didn't notice that at all 🤣. The difference is oddly small. Another commenter actually suggested about there being bonus XP for beating bosses. I wasn't sure, so I also told him the same thing, but this definitely makes me want to look into it.
