If we’re going to exclude what happened in Boston, let’s be real: Isaiah Thomas had everything coming to him hood and bad. The dude ended up getting traded to a contender in 2017 (still could’ve got a big contract.) and he messed it up trying to argue rebel in the locker room. He barley played any games due to injury and thought that he was gonna tell everyone what to do then he forced himself out of Cleveland. Then after that, he went on IG Live and told the whole world how trash all of cities he played in were and then he tried to apologize once people told him how messed up it was not only that but he admitted online how much his teammates didn’t like him. Then when he went to Cleveland he had the nerve to tell them that he’s not coming off the bench as if he had anything to bargain with. So put yourself in the shoes of ANY NBA GM In the league, here’s all of the facts:
1.)Hip injury
2.)Isaiah is 30 plus
3.)his teammates don’t get along with him
4.)he’s short
5.)and he refuses to abide by the rules
Physically small players depend on speed, grind, and leading ultimately quick physical degradation.
You should try playing outside the US. A lot of nba pros did that before.

Isaiah Thomas was never a franchise player, and any team that gave him a max is stupid. I wish he would have gotten his money, but it's the truth. He had one really good year on a team with a coach that knew how to use him, and had players that could make up for his bad defense.
He could easily play for a big Euroleague team.
