You’re a big inspiration man. I’m 25 years old on my second year as a sitework/excavation contractor. All your information has been a great help to myself and business. I hope to be as good of a business man as you someday.
You’re a legend I’m 22 started my landscape company 2 years ago but last year i went full time. Hoping this year to be consistent and hire 2 guys and just keep growing.

I actually work for the dot not too far from where you are located. And you're correct about the gravel. Currently we have stockpiled about a million dollars worth of ABC alone behind our office. One of the main reasons I think is because our budget kicks over in July or so so around that time when they get their new money and they'll start buying up stuff.
I went from renovation work into dirt work because I got tired of waiting for subs and tired of their excuses because they didn't run their business well. Started renting equipment and getting it done
Hey man. I’m a younger fella in business would love to connect pick your brain and get some advice. Currently have around 10 units on the road, just passed our first million dollars in sales.. pumped I found your channel.
I'm close to opening up my bookkeeping/accounting firm that'll specialize in excavation/dirt work. Just curious if you had any advice on the problems smaller dirt work companies would have with their books. I think a focus on job/project costing would be pretty beneficial.
The content will be easier to digest if you read aloud the comment or have your cameraman read the comment aloud or give enough of a pause between showing the comment and starting to talk for someone to reap the whole comment or question. I’m not trying to be a dick. I know you’re a businessman not a RUclipsr so I’m just trying to give you a RUclips tip.
I love how everyone thinks Blue Collar is an easy money maker, but they are lazy and just want to sit back and let everyone else make them the money. I've done this for 20 years. If a guy has all the knowledge to run a company, he will do it for himself, not for you. So, plan on working hard or paying well for someone's knowledge.
Seatbelts offer performance. You can’t races carworth shxt without seat belt. Can’t be best at anything with out your seatbelt that goes for heavy equipment as well. Your better with a seatbelt. If you want to be number 2 or lower then sure no seatbelt. Sleep in late hell call out or no show why don’t ya.
