Did you know that seagulls, recognized for their intelligence and resourcefulness, display a fascinating behavior? Some species have been observed using breadcrumbs to bait fish. They drop the crumbs onto the water's surface, diving down to catch fish attracted to the floating feast-a testament to their adaptability and tool usage for hunting.
While weekends are my cherished painting time, it is not always possible due to family commitments or work. During those periods, I pick up straight forward subjects that are simple & easy. This is one such. I really enjoyed portraying the strong lighting on the Seagull and interestingly the pebbles were fun to paint. What's your favorite element in this painting?
